“The venue is beautiful inside and out. The food is amazing- I enjoyed working with their Chef Christian and co-owner Mark in designing the menu, custom to our food allergies and restrictions with ease. The event team lead by Sam is incredible. They worked so hard to make sure our wedding was outside like we wanted, even though it down poured all morning. Truly a magical, ethereal experience that’s like no other. Our guests are still raving about how unique the experience was and we’re so grateful to the Spillian team for making our dream wedding a reality.”

“I had my wedding at the Inn at West Settlement a little under a month ago and to say they made all my wedding dreams come true would be an understatement. The owner/coordinator, Kim, has this incredible calming energy that she brings to every part of the planning process and the day. She’s also an incredible master gardener and the flowers she did for our wedding (included with the venue) were breathtaking. Her staff is professional, attentive, and happy to do anything to make a perfect day. I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about this gorgeous property and grade A team!”

“Choosing Beaverkill Valley Inn as our wedding venue was an absolute dream come true - it's not just one of the best decisions we've made for our wedding. The memories we created there, the truly exceptional hospitality of the staff, the meticulous attention to every tiny detail, and the cuisine were simply out of this world. Diana and Kaitlyn are more than just professionals; they're wedding day superheroes. Their unwavering calm and ingenious problem-solving skills are exactly what every couple needs, especially when facing unpredictable weather or guest-related challenges. They consistently went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Chef Tommy curated a delicious menu and our guests were absolutely gushing about how delicious the food was. It’s rare that wedding food feels restaurant quality but at BVI it is! Every dish was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor. The staff at BVI consistently exceeds expectations. Every time I encountered a staff member, they genuinely inquired about my well-being, offered assistance, and sought ways to alleviate any wedding day stress. It was a truly remarkable experience. Beaverkill Valley Inn's setting is perfect - an ideal location for gathering your guests for a weekend getaway. From the welcoming front porch to the cozy fireplaces and the expansive property complete with bonfires to conclude your evening, it offers everything you could want. Our guests were constantly amazed, often asking, "How did you find this incredible place?" Their admiration extended to the Inn's staff as well. Words can't fully capture the magic of this place, but I'm eternally grateful that we chose Beaverkill Valley Inn for our special day. We're already dreaming of the countless memories we'll create here in the years to come!”

“Yes! CHOOSE THIS VENUE!! You’ve found the right place! We are finally getting around to posting our review about the most perfect wedding venue we could have imagined! We saw Maple Shade November ‘22 when we were ‘shopping’ for a wedding venue; choosing it was a no brainer. The barn itself is unique and different than any others we have seen and it comes with everything. Dining area upstairs, separate from the cocktail hour, dancing, downstairs bar, lounge area, game room (this place has it all!). Long farm tables are gorgeous within themselves and need minimal decorations. And with the venue having SO MUCH on site, there was no need for us to order and prepare any other decor items like we would have needed at some of the ‘Blank Canvas’ barns we initially considered. The barn sits on acres and acres of land, giving you the option of where to have your ceremony, we chose right in front of the pond where our wedding party had a grand entrance from the large barn doors. MAGICAL! Enough about the venue, although we hope this paints an accurate picture! Everything you could need is there!! More importantly, Jay and Abby Wilson (owners of Maple Shade) are absolute rockstars. From our first visit and follow up phone call, we knew working together would be a breeze. They were helpful in our initial planning stages, helping us plan different details, offering extremely helpful advice. Wedding day they were like conductors of an orchestra, making sure everyone and everything were in place and running according to plan. It was PERFECT! And when uncontrollable things don’t go to plan, they had us covered! On our wedding day in late July, there was a high percentage of rain expected only during the time of our ceremony; Jay and Abby made the call that morning to put up a tent and made all the adjustments needed without causing bride and groom any extra stress… THANK GOD they did - it literally monsooned during the ceremony, like nothing we've seen before at an outdoor wedding! (Just a fluke storm rolling though). They reminded us that as a bride and groom getting married at their venue, they make the same decisions for us and our guests that they would make for their own children. They are kind and caring and so fun, and certainly know how to run a wedding venue. We respected, trusted and appreciated all their knowledge and hard work. It’s definitely not their first rodeo! As we will continue to call this day "the best day ever," we are very grateful to Jay and Abby for all of their help, attention to detail, and their ability to see and understand our vision for the most perfect wedding we could have imagined. Ps- they made a few recommendations for supplementary vendors (catering, DJ, bartenders) and all their recommendations were also HOME RUNS! It was such a smooth operation.”

“We had the most epic wedding weekend at Onteora Mountain House earlier this month. The team at Onteora truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we toured the venue (in the middle of January with no leaves on the trees might I add) we immediately knew we wanted to get married there.  We met Josh & Dylan and from the get go we could tell how thoughtful and organized they were.  We got the chance to try some delicious hors d'oeuvres (good food is so important to us), toured the accommodations, reception space, and finally the ceremony area outside where the view gave us chills.  We booked almost 2 years ahead so when we visited for our tasting, we were completely validated by our decision to book Onteora.  The food did not disappoint. We planned the wedding without the help of a planner (across the country as we moved to CA from the northeast shortly after getting engaged) and I was immediately put to ease after our 1 month planning call (but I’ll tell you the team was super responsive whenever I had questions along the way & it made the planning process truly enjoyable).  Dylan & Mercy answered all of our questions before we had to ask and they made the month leading up to the wedding stress-free. We loved that we could stay on the property with our immediate family & we were thrilled to check-in Thursday & stay the entire weekend in the beautiful Catskills right around peak fall! We decided to also host our rehearsal dinner on the property and we’re so glad we did, as it set an amazing tone for what was to come on our big day.  We had incredible BBQ food & the ambiance was perfect.  Josh/Dylan/Mercy set the space up exactly as requested & the night was perfectly timed. The space is so cozy, the views are breathtaking, and our guests felt at home. On our wedding day, we were able to be care-free, relax, and truly take it all in because we were able to trust the Onteora team to bring our vision to life and coordinate the day flawlessly ( our vendors were all so amazing).  Everything was on schedule & it was so cool to get to experience our day, get married surrounded by our closest people, and see everything come together so perfectly.  So many of our guests were asking us how we found Onteora & could not stop talking about how beautiful it was.  We also got so many comments about how amazing the team was, how on top of everything they were, and how delicious the food was.  We had many personal touches and not one thing was missed in the set-up.  I’m shocked saying this, but nothing went wrong and I truly think that’s due to how experienced this team is.  I was obsessed with the ambiance of our reception space. (Another perk was I wanted real candles & Onteora allowed them.  My mom & I thrifted brass candlesticks over the course of a year.  I envisioned a romantic vibe & that was certainly achieved.)  The dance floor was packed all night too!  We had our after party on-site with walking tacos & were able to just chill & decompress with our closest friends before calling it a night. We loved every element of the weekend and had an unforgettable experience.  Planning so far in advance, there were definitely times when you second guess spending money on a wedding, but after the experience we had, we have 0 regrets and will always look back at the amazing wedding weekend we had.  We wouldn’t change one thing. “We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Blenheim Hill Farm. From the first time we visited, we knew there was something incredibly special about the property, but our actual wedding weekend exceeded every expectation we had. The farm itself is absolutely stunning. It feels romantic, intimate and completely tucked away, and having so many different spaces throughout the property made the entire weekend feel like an experience rather than just one wedding day. Being able to stay at the farmhouse and spend that extra time on the property with our closest family and friends was one of our favorite parts. The entire Blenheim team was incredible. There are so many moving pieces that go into a wedding, and by the time the weekend arrived, we genuinely felt like we could hand everything over to them and just enjoy ourselves. Everything flowed so seamlessly, and we felt completely taken care of from beginning to end. Our guests noticed it too - we received so many compliments about how beautiful everything was and how attentive and wonderful the staff were. And the FOOD! We knew going into the wedding that food was one of Blenheim’s strengths, but it somehow managed to be even better on the actual wedding day. Everything felt thoughtful, seasonal and special, and we are still hearing from guests about how much they loved it. What we appreciated most about Blenheim is that it never felt like a cookie-cutter wedding venue. The property has so much character and natural beauty, and we were able to create a weekend that genuinely felt like us. Looking back, there really isn’t another place we can imagine having gotten married. Our wedding at Blenheim was everything we hoped it would be - beautiful, relaxed, personal, incredibly fun and filled with the people we love. We would choose Blenheim all over again in a heartbeat and are so grateful to everyone there for giving us a weekend we will never forget.”

Twelve Ponds is a 105 acre private estate wedding venue in the Catskills, where ponds, wildflower meadows, a restored farmhouse, a barn, and a stone arch look out over open hills. We host one wedding at a time, and every booking is a full-weekend buyout. The property is yours Friday through Sunday, so the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, the reception, and a slow Sunday morning by the water all happen in one place. No shared grounds, no six-hour window that rushes you through your own wedding. Couples marry in the meadow, at the pond, or at the arch depending on the season and the light. Fall brings color across the hills, and summer evenings run long and gold. Bring the caterer you love. We have a full commercial kitchen and supply all the tables, chairs, plates, glassware and cutlery for any occasion. Twelve Ponds is for couples who want a wedding weekend, not a wedding day. Send your date and guest count and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

“We had the wedding of our dreams this past weekend at Mod House, and it could not have gone better. From the very beginning of planning, Nick & crew made us feel so taken care of and allowed us to really connect with the space and feel comfortable. We so enjoyed our visits even before our wedding took place! Mod House is so perfectly preserved in time, but still feels modern enough to have a contemporary wedding. If you choose to go all-out on a retro vibe like we did, it will absolutely suit your vision. All of the little details of the space are so magical and our guests were so enamored by the entire house. There are so many cool spaces around the house that will entertain all types of guests. The speakeasy, which is a fully functioning underground jazz club, is our favorite part of the house. You can lounge, you can dance, you can enjoy the bar, and there’s even a secret room. Special shout-out to Laverne, the queen of the castle, for offering her canine emotional support to us & our guests. I don’t know if our wedding would have been as magical and perfect if we were in any other venue. Mod House will forever be so special to us and we can’t wait to visit again!”

““How did you FIND this place?!” We heard this from our guests all night long. It felt like we’d discovered a secret garden, and everyone was desperate to know the story behind it. We got married at Black Walnut Farm in the fall of 2024. It was the first venue we visited, and we knew it was "the one" the moment we stepped out of the car—even before seeing the full extent of the work that has since gone into it. Owners Sarah and Jim have created something truly special; you can feel the heart and soul they’ve poured into the property while beautifully maintaining its historical integrity and charm. Getting to witness the venue’s progression in the months leading up to our wedding made us appreciate the sheer passion and hard work they pour into every detail. Sarah and Jim's support made all the difference. Because of the diligence they showed throughout our planning process, we felt entirely at ease when the big day finally arrived. We knew we were in excellent hands. If you’re on the fence about the full weekend package: do it. Beyond allowing us to feel completely at home, it gave us the space to host welcome drinks on the grounds as a “sneak peek” for our guests, while keeping the ceremony site and the barn under wraps for a big reveal the next day. The day after our wedding, we had the whole place to ourselves when our loved ones left and we wandered the enchanting grounds with our dog, basking in the warmth of all the love and joy we felt. Black Walnut Farm is a unique, deeply human venue. We couldn't have picked a better place to start our lives together.”

The lakeside ceremony quite literally took my breath away and the tented reception in the meadows was everything I always dreamed. By the end of my stay I wanted to live there. “An absolute dream of a wedding venue! I recently got married at FVM in early September and could not recommend more. So many positive things to say… see below! First and foremost, the venue is tucked away in the most charming area of the Hudson Valley, surrounded by beautiful greenery and very well-kept grounds. Our guests not only raved about how gorgeous the space was, but also how fantastic the food was (s/o to the King, Chef Charlie), how the drinks were superb (a wedding essential), and how the staff was super helpful and friendly (thank you FVM team)! However, the true gem behind it all is Kerri—the amazing owner of the venue who also becomes your planner/coordinator and helps make the magic happen! Kerri is the most passionate, hardworking gal in the business. She will LITERALLY do anything and everything to make her couples wedding day a dream. As someone who recently relocated to the west coast and was planning our wedding from afar, Kerri went above and beyond to help make our planning experience seamless. She was super cost-conscious and accommodating, helping customize every element of our day and reflect our true vision. Even when the weather was looking not so good and I was stressing (emphasis on the stress), the FVM team had plans A-Z to ensure the day went on perfectly no matter what. And of course Kerri did everything and more to shuffle some things around so that the whole experience and day of remained seamless. What can’t this woman do?? An extra special shout out to her husband Frank who is the man behind the scenes keeping the space perfectly manicured and gorgeous! And of course kudos to my queen Mia (my personal bridal attendant for the day) who kept me dry from the weather, well fed, and took care of us all night! Final comment: this venue is unlike any venue we toured. It is not only a unique and charming space, but also so personable. In fact, through our venue touring process, FVM stood out as the only one to be so focused and dedicated to your event (vs just being another wedding on their list, booking couples back-to-back-to-back, etc.). Kerri, Frank, and the FVM staff truly have the best hearts and complete emotional ownership to your day, making your wedding experience like no other. The biggest and warmest thank you, thank you, thank you! And look no further for where to have your wedding!”

“We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!”

“One of the most beautiful things that came out of the weekend was watching our friends become friends with each other. People who had been complete strangers before our wedding are now flying to visit each other without even needing us to be there. What more could you ask for? The Maples gave everyone the space to relax, connect, laugh, and actually be together for an entire weekend - and that is something we never could have created anywhere else. What makes The Maples even more special is the community Katie has built around it. The relationships she has formed with people throughout the town and upstate are priceless, and they became such an important part of our wedding experience. These aren't just vendors on a preferred-vendor list—they are incredible people who genuinely care. We sent our wedding guests to Middleburgh Coffee Company during the weekend for coffee, and the owner, Dasha, hand-delivered honey from her bees to us the day after our wedding as a thank-you. In what world does that happen?! Rob from Rob's Roasts sent bags of coffee to our apartment before the wedding so we could taste different roasts and choose what we wanted. Brian from the Dumpling Wagon let us sample everything during one of our planning meetings with Katie. Paloma, our florist, absolutely blew us away - we were genuinely speechless the first time we saw what she had created at the reception, and Katie's vision for the pavilion was pure magic. And the care didn't stop when the wedding started. Our bar stayed open an extra 15 minutes just for us. At our family croquet party and welcome party the day before, Richard from Bars Without Boundaries stayed open for the entire time, foregoing our scheduled 3 hour break and would literally come out and hand-deliver drinks to us in the middle of a croquet game. Our photographer, Shelby, stayed an entire extra hour because she wanted to capture our T-shirt toss and sent us previews that same night. These little things might sound small, but they are exactly what made the entire weekend feel so unbelievably special. We had so many guests tell us that it was the best and most authentic wedding they had ever attended. That word - authentic - means so much to us because that was exactly what we wanted. We wanted a wedding that felt like us, and Katie somehow understood that from our very first conversation. We would not change a single thing. If you are considering The Maples Estate, choose it. Choose Katie and Louis. You will have the most beautiful, joyful, completely personal wedding imaginable, and you will get to actually enjoy every second of it. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Our wedding weekend was truly utter magic, and we will be forever grateful to Katie, Louis, their incredible team, and the entire community they've built around The Maples for giving us the best weekend of our lives.”

“We had the most perfect wedding weekend at Vanderbilt a few weeks ago. We had our joint bachelor-bachelorette party from Wednesday to Friday, our rehearsal dinner there on Friday, and then the most incredible wedding on Saturday. Every single aspect of our experience was absolutely wonderful. The place itself is stunning. Every room has a different vibe, and there is so much space to hang out. The outdoor deck, views, and landscaping really sold us on Vanderbilt; you feel totally immersed in nature while staying close to everything. Vanderbilt is also so close to Hudson, so going into town for a night out was easy and super fun. From the moment we inquired about availability back in November of last year, we knew we were in good hands with Henrietta. She doesn’t miss a beat and is so attentive, down-to-earth, and kind. She’s a wonderful communicator and worked seamlessly with our month-of coordinator and all of our vendors. She and her husband Matt (the Chef) are truly what make Vanderbilt so special. The food is absolutely delicious, and we're a picky group. Coming from NYC, we have high expectations and didn't want anything that resembled "wedding food," and Chef Matt did an incredible job. If we had just one of his dishes at a normal restaurant, we would be regulars. He was also super accommodating when it came to customizing both our rehearsal dinner and wedding menus. Also, the signature drinks they offer are delicious and super creative. The staff they hire as servers and bartenders are incredible too. They're total pros and make the entire event feel warm and fun. Every guest felt taken care of. I wish we could get married again just to relive this experience! Our wedding was over two weeks ago, and we're still having friends and family tell us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to.”

“Billiam and his team did a superb job hosting our wedding. My wife is particular about things and our wedding was no exception. Billiam was patient and professional in helping her vision become a reality. I hope I can convince someone else to get married here so I can go through the experience from the other side one day. Billiam, we are so grateful for all that you and your team did for us to make our day so special. It's clear that you have a passion for what you do and it is reflected in your work. Everyone involved has clearly found their life's calling and I wish all of you the absolute best. Thank you again!”
