“Everything with Three Village Inn from start to finish was nothing but amazing. We worked with Tom and we can’t thank him enough. We did the package the venue offered and all the vendors were so great to work with as well. Communication was never an issue and he was just so great. To be honest, the entire staff was a pleasure to work with. Our maître d’ was Jonathan and he was attentive and a pleasure to work with as well. The food at both cocktail hour and dinner was out of this world. Absolutely delicious. Our guests still talk about it. The venue itself is just beautiful and the grounds are great for pictures as well as the beach across the street. We had our ceremony indoors and they did such a great job. Our wedding was more than what we could’ve dreamed of.”

We had about 70 guests and the venue was the ideal size for everyone to feel comfortable while enjoying the beautiful history of the grounds. Yes, you need to bring in all vendors, but the reasonable venue fee meant we pulled off our dream wedding for under 30K—something we never thought was possible in this area. Open Farmhouse is located on 300 acres of protected land in Redding, Connecticut. Just an hour and a half drive from New York City, it’s easily accessible by car or short shuttle from metro north. As part of a working farm, guests experience farm fresh produce, bucolic views and engagement with the land. Built in 1840, the historic Federal Style house sits at the center of the farm, with sweeping views of the surrounding fields and forests. Restored true to its era, it’s a grand yet inviting space for gatherings of 10 to 50 people. Five private bedrooms provide a good night’s sleep, with simple furnishings and comfortable mattresses. Three shared bathrooms allow everyone to get ready for the day. All linens and towels provided. Our vision is to create a place that fosters connection to the land, strengthens community, and plants seeds for cultural renewal.
