As the embodiment of ‘Connecticut Charm’ with its 18th-century architectural design & rustic, New England inspired designs, The Spinning Wheel is the ideal destination for an intimate reception. Our venue, sitting on five acres of rolling countryside, offers both privacy and accessibility - with its picturesque location in quaint Redding, CT and its proximity to major thruways (I-95) and Manhattan (approximately an hour away). Our charmingly-appointed banquet room can accommodate weddings of up to 150 guests and features the original fireplace from 1742. The scenic garden gazebo is a favorite for nuptial exchange and the covered patio serves as a perfect setting for cocktails and outdoor receptions. Perfect Venue!
Katlyn and her team are absolutely incredible! Everyone is so kind and helpful. The Spinning Wheel is gorgeous and the food is amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue!

The Spinning Wheel was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From our first interaction, the staff was prompt, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the space and what it could offer. They gave us their full attention and were completely organized, ensuring our wedding day went off without a hitch. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a classic New England charm that made our celebration feel extra special. We couldn't have asked for a better location to host our special day. Thank you to Katlyn and her wonderful staff.

From the images I saw online to the reality- The Spinning Wheel was a dream come true! Katlyn, GM, is absolutely amazing at keeping things running and organized and she is excellent at anticipating needs before we even knew we needed anything!! Cannot say enough good things about this venue and HIGHLY recommend booking to anyone planning a wedding or other event.

We had our wedding at the spinning wheel May 2025 and absolutely loved it! The staff was amazing and so kind to us. The food was phenomenal it was so pretty inside and out I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone
