Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. A week later, he was invited to co-DJ at one of his friends’ wedding reception and rest is the history.

“Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it’s a story) without our prompting. We had selected Jeff from word of mouth when he was at a prior company before starting White Rose and were thrilled that we were able to retain Jeff for our special day. Since day 1 Jeff was extremely responsive, educational, and professional throughout the entire process. You can feel the passion from Jeff in his work in every conversation and interaction. On the actual wedding day, Jeff showed up early and made sure everything was set up to perfection to avoid any issues. Jeff's energy on the mic throughout the day was phenomenal. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone unsure of a DJ. Jeff's team of his assistant and photobooth operator were exceptional all day and night as well. The lighting that Jeff had set up was also a huge surprise when we saw how cool it was. The dance floor was packed the entire night and the best part of the night for many. We received a great deal of compliments during and after the wedding about how great Jeff was. Following the wedding, unbeknownst to us Jeff had created a short instagram video of our entire day edited flawlessly and was one of the highlights we could show people. We kicked off a video call with co-owner, Matt, who spent time getting to know us personally, broke down their services, how everything works and answered all of our questions. We truly felt like we were in good hands. Our biggest priority for our wedding was the DJ. We love dancing and listening to music and we wanted someone who would keep everyone on the dance floor. DJ Jeff was referred to us by a family friend who raved about him! And he did not disappoint! About a month out from the wedding we hopped on a video call with Jeff to go over our vision of the day, songs we would like to be played and he also took the time to know us as a couple. DJ Jeff exceeded all expectations! He played one hit after another and made it extremely hard to leave the dance floor. “Jon was highly recommended by our wedding planner (Lissa Marie Weddings and Events), and we immediately hired him after our initial meeting. It really says something when other vendors only have great things to say! He did such a wonderful job on our wedding day and really kepted everything flowing smoothly with no hiccups. Jon was great at making announcements, (even though it wasn't planned) like when he had to tell people to go to cocktail hour. We also had a photobooth package with him and the attendant did such a great job running the booth. It was definitely the most popular event and our families still raves about the pictures they took!
