Lory Costa

Hi! I'm Lory, a visual storyteller based in Brooklyn, NYC, originally from Belém do Pará—a (not so) small town in the heart of the Amazon, Brazil. My curiosity has led me to many places and unique opportunities to connect with people through my photographs. As an introvert, my favorite place is behind the camera, watching people doing incredible things. This is my way of being present, listening, and sharing their stories.

I'm a storyteller, and I believe every story is unique and deserves to be told with care and authenticity. I do my best to capture each moment, detail, and emotion, honoring the trust you place in me by inviting me to document something meaningful and personal.

    Amazing experience with Lory

    We had an amazing experience working with Lory for engagement photos and our engagement party. She was very kind and encouraging to be around and made sure everything on my shot list got captured. Our photos came out incredible, and we know we will cherish them for the rest of our lives! We plan to work with Lory for the remainder of our wedding events. Our families are so happy with how the pictures came out!
