Hi, I'm Lilli, a British/Danish baker based in NY. I left a career in design consulting because I was bursting with ideas for truly unique cakes that tell personal stories. I journeyed around the world to train in my favourite restaurants and bakeries, like Rochelle Canteen in London, and Blue Hill at Stone Barns in New York. There I learned discipline and craft, but what I really discovered was the joy of creating really meaningful, personal moments. And Lilli Maren Bakes was born!

The goal of a Lilli Maren cake is to celebrate you - not an aesthetic, not a trend, just YOU. My cakes tell personal stories, through elegant design and artful details, whether it's flowers arranged as a secret map of the place you met, a subtle ode to your favourite childhood treat, or a joyous landscape filled with hidden meaningful details. Each design starts with a conversation, which inspires 3-5 completely original cake concepts for you to chose from. I toured the world to find the very best cake recipes, so you can be sure that every last slice will be enjoyed!

    Lilli at Lilli Maren Bakes was extremely thorough in capturing my vision for our wedding cake. I felt like I was speaking with a friend throughout the process! She can make any of your dessert desires come to life - the design and taste of our cake were simply marvelous. Lilli created a cake that blended my childhood memories with the new ones I am soon to make with my husband. Our passionfruit and coconut cake was the best thing I have ever tasted. I couldn't be happier with how Lilli contributed to making our special day perfect.

    Lilli Maren Bakes made my Bridal shower cake and it was absolutely gorgeous. I wanted a passion fruit flavor with a pretty design - she executed perfectly with passion fruit jelly hearts and a beautiful design. I also used Lilli for our wedding favors (little cookies with my husbands and my initials) and everyone absolutely LOVED them. She can really do anything, classic or more modern. Tell her your vision, and it’ll definitely come to life!

    Lilli Maren Bakes was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. Her communication style was thoughtful, responsive, and imaginative from start to finish. The quality was exceptional from the tasting sampler to the final product - the cake was delicious, the design was beautiful, and she thoughtfully incorporated a mix of our favorite flavors like strawberry banana shortcake and red velvet. She took inspiration from special spots for us in Central Park to create a stunning, personalized cake that was a huge hit with all our guests.
