Presidio Artists

Presidio Artists is a Bay Area music agency representing conservatory-trained string and jazz musicians for weddings and private events. Founded by violinist Aleksi Zaretsky, we connect couples with skilled, professional ensembles - from solo violin to full string and jazz groups - tailored to the size and style of their celebration. Every musician we work with brings years of formal training and real performance experience, so you can trust your ceremony and reception are in capable hands.

Unlike many wedding performers, our musicians come from conservatory backgrounds and perform across classical, jazz, and popular genres - including string arrangements of contemporary hits. Many of our musicians perform with leading ensembles in the region - including the San Francisco Symphony, SF Opera, SF Ballet and SFJazz. We offer flexible ensemble sizes, multiple-location support for ceremony and reception, and the ability to learn new songs on request. Our focus is matching the right musicians to your specific vision, not a one-size-fits-all package.

    Pure Elegance at SF City Hall

    Working with Aleksi Zaretsky for our SF City Hall wedding was one of the best decisions we made! From our initial communication, he was prompt, kind, and so easy to work with. On the big day, he arrived early, coordinated seamlessly with the space, and played our requested songs flawlessly. Hearing Trumpet Voluntary echo through the rotunda was a moment we will never forget. We had a minor hiccup with starting on time but that didn’t impact Aleksi or his performance one bit, he continued to play music while we waited for the wedding party to arrive. If you're getting married at City Hall, do yourself a favor and book Aleksi!

    Working with Presidio Artists was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From day one, they made communication simple and straightforward, answering all our questions without any confusion.     Ceremony Violinist

    Aleksi was fantastic and a great choice for our wedding! One of the only vendors I didn’t need to worry about. He was kind and accommodating during the planning process and worked with us to play the music we wanted. He was dressed professionally, arrived on time and performed wonderfully. His prices were fair & I would highly recommend using him for your event.

We are fully insured!
We provide music for both ceremonies and cocktail receptions, as well as any other times during your wedding.
Unless otherwise discussed, our musicians will plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to their performance time.
All of our musicians are conservatory trained and have extensive experience performing professionally at the highest caliber. Our roster includes musicians from the San Francisco Symphony, Opera and Ballet orchestras, as well as players who have performed at SFJazz, the Super Bowl, Chase Center and more.
