He handled all audio from welcome drinks, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and nailed it at every stage. He set the vibe for each phase of the evening, and when it is time to dance, he brings the energy and gets the crowd going. He's great at reading the room and giving the dance floor what it needs. Besides throwing an amazing party, Marty was awesome to work with. He's personable and thorough. He was very attentive throughout the whole planning process and together we prepared everything from the general flow and vibe of the night down to the smaller details. He let us be involved as much or as little as we wanted. We don't know of a better wedding DJ. Maybe we're biased because he was our wedding DJ, but we don't think so. “We hired Bunn DJ Company Virginia to DJ our 150-guest wedding. Frank was our DJ, and he did a wonderful job all day helping us to curate several different vibes for different parts of the evening. The online tools from Bunn DJ made curating and sharing a playlist of our favorite songs as well as what songs to use where (first dance, wedding party introductions, last dance, etc) a breeze as well as very user friendly. Frank was a great MC, and got 150 guests wrangled to several different rooms throughout the night between cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing (all in different parts of our venue)! He did a great job balancing songs for different age groups as well as when to let songs play out longer or mix into the next song more quickly if the crowd was not into it. He is a big reason our dance floor was packed all night long! We were very happy with Bunn DJ Company Virginia’s services and specifically Frank’s skill as a DJ. Also, if it is within your budget, get the club cannons. Firing those off on our dancefloor was pure electricity for the energy on the dancefloor!”

“Frankie was phenomenal!! The ceremony music, dance songs, and other important songs were exactly as we imagined! And everything flowed so smoothly from one dance to the next. The cocktail and dinner music was perfect and the dance floor was packed and overflowing all night, from the moment it opened to the very last song!! Frankie even brought the party right back when we had not one but two pauses in the dancing because the groom had lost his ring and there was a false alarm that it was found (he had taken it off to wash his hands). We heard all of our must plays that we knew would be big hits with our guests and also had some importance to us. Frankie knew exactly what to play for all the other songs and followed the crowds energy perfectly. I might be a little biased, but it was the most fun dance floor of any wedding I’ve ever been to. I could not recommend him more!!”

“It was meant to be for us to have Sam be the DJ at our nerdy chic wedding. On a sheer whim, we emailed him when it was clear our original plan of "oh we'll just make a few playlists" was absolutely not going to happen. Only 6 weeks out, and he was free on our date *and* had played the venue before! Fast-tracked our consult meetings, worked with us on our timeline for our very short ceremony and reception and overall had great tips and tricks. There were one or two moments during the wedding that were maybe hiccups (including me kicking the plugs out!) but he rolled with it, we rolled with it. He's so personable, everyone loved him - we're all transplants from NJ/ NY and turns out he's practically related to at least one of my family. For sure, would recommend him!”

“BEST DJ EVER!! Our entire experience with Mixology was amazing! They were super communicative so we didn’t have to repeatedly reach out to get a response from them which I really appreciated. Planning: They give you an app to use in which you can answer questions about your timeline and even import songs directly from Spotify or find on YouTube. It was super user friendly! Our assigned DJ, Angel reached out to use for a quick planning call a couple weeks before our wedding. He was prepared, super friendly and excited about our wedding. We ended the call being super thrilled to have an energetic DJ and felt very confident. Wedding Day: DJ ANGEL KILLED IT!! I’m Hispanic but my husband is white so I wanted all announcements in Spanish and English plus lots of Spanish music. He blended everything so well and picked the funnest songs! Our guests were raving about him and my sister who is getting married also booked him as a result. We had added a custom monogram light display plus the dance on a cloud feature and WOW! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Worth every penny! I did tons of research beforehand and even listened to mixtapes before booking a DJ. Nothing is worse than hearing a DJ with an awful transition or lame songs but this was not the case. I had zero issues with Mixology and will always HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!”

“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“We cannot say enough good things about this band! From start to finish, the energy was absolutely perfect and felt so “us.” They created the most incredible atmosphere and truly gave us the best party of our lives. So many of our guests kept asking where we found them and couldn’t stop talking about how fun they were. People loved how they came out onto the dance floor, sang with us, and completely engaged with everyone—it made the entire night feel so interactive and unforgettable. They worked closely with us leading up to the wedding to make sure everything flowed perfectly, and it really showed. Everything felt seamless, elevated, and so well thought out.
