“We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. A week later, he was invited to co-DJ at one of his friends’ wedding reception and rest is the history.

“Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it’s a story) without our prompting. I’m an experienced DJ and have been spinning at events for over 25 yrs. In addition, I’ve participated as talent, as well as tech and presentation, in music related events all around the Washington DC/Northern Virginia/Maryland region for three decades. I branched out into doing weddings in the 00’s, and it has been great! I love playing weddings and sharing in the joy of the happy couple and their families!

From start to finish, his communication was excellent—clear, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. Our venue had the ceremony site, cocktail hour, and reception all in three separate areas, and DJ Neal was more than accommodating with his setup. Everything transitioned seamlessly and without any stress for us. He truly went above and beyond with the lighting setup as well. It completely transformed the space and looked incredible—it added so much to the overall atmosphere of the reception and the pricing was very inexpensive. Compared to other DJs we considered, his package options were incredibly well-priced for the level of service and quality he delivered. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ experience and would highly recommend DJ Neal to anyone looking for a professional, talented, and reliable DJ for their event!”

“Jeff Krumrine & White Rose Productions were a 10/10 wedding DJ & entertainment, hands down. We had selected Jeff from word of mouth when he was at a prior company before starting White Rose and were thrilled that we were able to retain Jeff for our special day. Since day 1 Jeff was extremely responsive, educational, and professional throughout the entire process. You can feel the passion from Jeff in his work in every conversation and interaction. On the actual wedding day, Jeff showed up early and made sure everything was set up to perfection to avoid any issues. Jeff's energy on the mic throughout the day was phenomenal. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone unsure of a DJ. Jeff's team of his assistant and photobooth operator were exceptional all day and night as well. The lighting that Jeff had set up was also a huge surprise when we saw how cool it was. The dance floor was packed the entire night and the best part of the night for many. We received a great deal of compliments during and after the wedding about how great Jeff was. Following the wedding, unbeknownst to us Jeff had created a short instagram video of our entire day edited flawlessly and was one of the highlights we could show people. His song selections were spot on and got everyone dancing, which honestly made our whole day feel like a celebration rather than just a party. “We loved working with Jon! He offered us so many great options and was incredibly accommodating with every request we had for our wedding music. He and his team are truly professional and kept the night running smoothly from start to finish. The “dancing on the clouds” feature was such a magical touch for our night sky themed wedding—it made our first dance feel truly unforgettable. We also booked the "retro" photo booth which was a huge hit! Our guests were using it all night long with help from the lovely Shelby. You absolutely NEED this photo booth at your wedding—it’s such a fun experience and an amazing keepsake! We had the best time looking through all the photos afterward. A special shout-out to District Harmony for performing during our ceremony and cocktail hour- they were fantastic! Walking down the aisle to their rendition of “Merry-Go-Round of Life” was a dream come true. Everyone commented on how great they sounded. They were the perfect addition to our day!”
