Ruby met with us numerous times over the course of 6 months to give constructive feedback and ensure we were on track to have a gorgeous and fun wedding. “I had spent an entire year planning my dream wedding and hired Lily as a Day of Coordinator. I am a CPA so as you can imagine, I am very type A. But I had zero hesitation turning things over to Lily! I could tell instantly she had experience in the industry and knew what she was doing. She thought of everything! I can’t forget to mention I planned my Montana wedding from Texas, so it’s tricky to know what the final product would be, but she made sure my vision came to life! Hansen Weddings and Events was so thorough and took the time to truly understand what I wanted the big day to look like. Not only did she help me find some last minute vendors while I was still in Texas, but she guided the rehearsal the night before, helped set up the morning of the wedding, coordinated with all my vendors, instructed the bridal party, guided the guests, and handled some craaaazy weather. It was a warm sunny day until about 10 minutes before the ceremony, it dropped (what felt like) 20 degrees, had high winds, and even started sleeting during our vows. It calmed quickly and a rainbow appeared 30 mins later, but at the time it was hectic. We weren’t sure how much it would progress but Lily worked fast to get the cocktail hour moved, get the vendors re-situated, guide the guests to the new space, and even bring my husband and me a plate of food!! There were a couple hiccups with vendors as the night progressed, but she was quick to resolve them before I even had a chance to think twice about it! She was the perfect balance of warmth and kindness while also being direct and making sure everything stayed on track. When there were times we wanted to move around schedules or step away, she encouraged us and worked in the background to make it happen! All in all, it was a great experience working with her. I am so glad I was able to hand over all those details and just enjoy the day with my husband. I highly recommend Hansen Weddings and Events!!!”

“Leshelle was incredible and truly made the wedding of our dreams come to life! We had a relatively short timeline from when we reached out until the big day AND we live outside of NYC now so were planning remotely, but Leshelle helped keep us on track and manage deadlines. She provided several strong recommendations for vendors and helped us vet the ones we found ourselves. As we got closer to the day, she took over full management of vendor communications and helped troubleshoot and provide options for a problematic vendor last minute a week before the wedding. The day of the wedding Leshelle, was right in the actions ensuring all the vendors strictly adhered to our time schedule. Our wedding day couldn’t have gone smoother and that is a direct reflection of Leshelle’s actions. “As soon as Kaushay pulled open spreadsheets comparing pricing and products I knew I was in good hands. When she created organized notes of her, my, and my husband's responsibilities to complete by our next meeting, I felt much more in control of planning the biggest event of my life so far. I knew my preferences, needs, and concerns were not only being heard, but also addressed. As a hands on bride, I felt like I could enjoy setting things up and meeting caterers etc., but I also felt comfortable in my delegations and trusting Kaushay with what needed to be picked up and transported to the venue. I would recommend Kaushay as a wedding planner to couples who are easy going, or detail oriented. Couples who know what they want, or dont even know what their options are. Kaushay is patient and always available for questions, concerns, and walking you through the process of planning a wedding. Having a third party to objectively plan details with was the most helpful resource I ever could have invested in for my big day.
