“We worked with Paul for our January wedding. Originally, I was going to just create a playlist (I was having little to no formalities) until I saw he commented on a Connecticut Bride Facebook Group. Figured a DJ will give me one less thing to worry about, so I inquired and he immediately responded, provided a quick quote, and we set up our first meeting. He just made everything so easy! We had two one-hour long meetings to clearly identify our vision. My father passed a few years ago and we did many things to honor him at the party- signature cocktail, my sister spoke about him in her speech, his two best friends gave a combined toast on his behalf, but what made me really feel my dad was celebrated and “there in spirit” was when Paul intentionally played my dad’s favorite song prior to the first speech. It almost felt like that was my dad’s speech/toast to us. Family and friends picked up on Paul’s placement of my dad’s favorite song and commented that they were moved by it too. It was the only point of the night I got emotional. Paul really cares about his work and the people he works with. I’ve been to a handful of weddings where DJs play the couple’s Do Not playlist and just treats every wedding the same. I seriously can’t recommend Paul more.”

After we booked him to be our DJ, he sent over a wonderfully detailed excel document for us to work in and add all the details needed for our wedding day! He was available to answer any of our questions, and prior to the wedding, we had a call to walk through everything on the spreadsheet in preparation of the day! He knows things you wouldn’t even think of and gave his honest opinion when we asked him for advice! We loved the various options he has! We included a violin duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour and we did the photo booth through him too - both were incredible and with the photobooth we received an album at the end of the night with all the pictures! We were able to add the lighting, which we did in purple to match our colors! On the day of our wedding, DJ Sam and his assistant were very communicative and easy to work with, we didn’t have to stress one bit! Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and he listened to everything we went over in our prep call! I could not recommend DJ Sam and Atmosphere Productions, if you book him, you are in good hands!”

We had a hard time finding that could cover genres from all different years, that would span the years of or attendees. The 4 vocalists in this band are insane, they can cover everything from Rock, Pop, Soul, Hip Hop, Motown to Jazz Standards. They delivered hit after hit and kept the dance floor packed all night, The horn section was amazing. The lead singers were on the dance floor with us, all night. It was so fun. Not only are we thankful to have a nearly perfect wedding but also had vendors that allowed us to feel like close friends throughout the process and on our special day. Jeff’s process is both thoughtful and intentional. Our interview with him was a guided conversation that provoked a lot of thought in what we wanted in our wedding. His gift upon contract execution was incredibly kind and made us feel like we won a bid and not the other way around. His responses throughout the process were timely and friendly- never allowing me to feel nervous about the millions of questions I had. Although we didn’t have all the answers at our final meeting- we didn’t feel in trouble or pressured to decide things on the spot. Jeff was patient and willing to assist us in deciding things at a pace that we felt comfortable at but also gave him time to prepare. On the day of our wedding and even conversations still following the wedding, everyone has said Jeff could read the room. He knew when to play a genre, how to transition to the next- and the selection was incredible. He even let me borrow a mic and sing to my guests when my favorite karaoke song came on! “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Alan C was easy and great to work with! We had a music range from Bad Bunny, Creed, The Killers and more! We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). Such a great time. We received so many compliments on our music and the dance floor was busy all night long! He was always very responsive and quick to work with any last minute changes (we had a rainy day).”
