I’ve been making pictures since I was 12. My parents gave me an ancient 35mm Konica Autoreflex camera, told me to get after it, and the rest, as they say, is history. My role as a photographer is to capture the rare, vulnerable, epic, extraordinary, and wonderfully ordinary moments of life, as well as the beautiful details in between. I strive to make images that come from the heart and will tell your story for years to come. Also, I might cry at your wedding. It happens.

Nostalgia drove me into photography at an early age - and lead me into my studies of photojournalism. We all innately know when we're at a critical juncture in our lives. Every weekend you'll find me oohing over a wedding dress, and holding my breath for the first moment the groom sees the bride. The wedding style I like the most is candid, but I definitely don't mind posing a nervous couple, or arranging that perfect artistic shot before the light changes. I am patient, calm, and encouraging... I think I get along with everyone... I'm like the nerdy extra bridesmaid with a really killer camera.
