I've been making pictures since 2006. After pursuing a degree in Photojournalism from RIT, I've had a unique journey through the professional photographic world, from staff and freelance work for news outlets, to assisting and production roles on commercial, documentary and editorial projects. I enjoy photographing nature and the night sky, too, in addition to personal projects. I’ve basically always got a camera with me. Through all of this time I have also been photographing weddings, which I view as an assignment that requires me to employ skills from all of the different areas of photography I've worked in.

Stuffy, stiff, and static aren’t really your thing—and they aren’t mine either. I believe the time you spend with your wedding photographer should feel effortless and fun. I want you to laugh, to get out of your head and lost in the moment, to feel entirely at-ease in front of the camera—and to end up with images that are emotive and adventurous. I’ll gently direct you to help you feel comfortable and look your best (hello, incredible angles and beautiful lighting), but I’ll never put you in forced poses. Because life has enough awkward moments—your wedding photography shouldn’t be one of them.

My name is Isora Lithgow. I am a wedding, branding, and lifestyle photographer based in Vermont, traveling to NYC often and dreaming of packing my suitcase all of the time.
