Love Wins Photography combines the talent, creativity, and palpably positive energy of Kim and Mike, two adventurous souls who are madly in love. We love shooting images of people doing what they do best; sharing and interacting in a way that is intimate, personal, and outwardly exciting. We are detail-oriented and easy to communicate with, providing well-established and thought-through portraiture in an environment that is comfortable for you and your loved ones. Far from a "cookie-cutter" photography service, Love Wins Photography understands that every couple is different, and so are their guests. By immersing ourselves in your event amongst your closest loved ones, we document your wedding moments at their finest. Our outgoing and personable characteristics allow our subjects to feel comfortable being in front of the lens. We might even send them away having learned a new joke or two. Seriously.     THE BEST!

    Kim & Mike were an absolute dream to work with! They are so easy to get along with and have such creative ideas for what to capture/how to capture photos. We felt so comfortable with them and doing our photos before the ceremony eased a lot of nerves. During the ceremony they were hardly noticeable and yet managed to capture it perfectly! Sneak peaks were posted to Facebook quickly and we received all over our photos (nearly 1,000) in just a few weeks. Highly recommend!

    Kim and Mike photographed a wedding at our venue the first summer I managed the department at Jay Peak. Immediately, I added them to our Preferred Vendor List. After recently getting set up as a vendor on your site, I suggested Kim and Mike and do the same. All of my clients who choose to work with Kim and Mike end up sharing a bond with these two that is lasting. Love Wins' branding and message really conveys the style of work they inhabit. They're not a clock-in/clock-out vendor. The goal of their work is to connect with and get to know their clients and to celebrate the hard work and beauty of a relationship and a marriage. When we know they'll be on-site shooting a wedding, as coordinators, we know that we can rest a little easier with competent and caring photographers on site. We can rest assured that they'll be cognizant of the timelines we've built and that they'll utilize the many amazing places on-site to capture the beauty of our mountain! They work hard to nurture their professional relationships, both with fellow vendors and with couples, and it shows in the portfolios they've built over the years.

We always work as a team so you will always have two shooters during the most important times of your wedding day. When the time is right, Michael will put his camera down and assist with off-camera lighting, setting up shots, and wrangling guests for some impromptu group shots as they come up during party time. Should your event be a large-scale affair with a lot of family and guests, we may even bring in a third person to assist.
Our turnaround time varies by season. We always like to get a teaser up to social media within 24-48 hours of your event. Otherwise, all of your images will be posted to the online gallery for you to view and share in 14-21 days, typically.
Definitely. We initially go through all of the images a weed out any images that don't contain these 4 essential elements: great exposure, great expression, great composition, and open eyes. Then, all final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. We also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
This depends on how long you have us contracted to be with you during your wedding day... Most weddings average around 600 images.
Typically, couples book us about 13 months before their wedding date. We encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about our availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. Once you connect with us, we will schedule a consultation within a week or two of your initial inquiry. From there, the date will be secured once you sign a contract with us and put a deposit down for the date.
Typically, we prefer to keep our weekends dedicated to only one wedding couple. There are some occasions where we will book two weddings in a weekend, but never on the same day. Our goal is to keep each couple the center of our focus from start to finish on wedding day.
In our combined 20 years of experience as wedding photographers, we’ve never canceled a booking. Not even that one year Kim was pregnant with her third child and shot 4 weddings in the 3 weekends around her due date. One wedding was even 9 days beyond her due date and she crushed it! During that time, she had a talented photographer on call in case she couldn't make the event. In the very rare event that we both would be unable to photograph your wedding, we’ll make sure you’re covered by one of our colleagues. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
