The attached 19th-century barn and farmhouse have been painstakingly restored and renovated to capture the charm of time past while simultaneously offering modern amenities to facilitate flawless events.

Maine's only greenhouse event venue exclusively designed for wedding receptions and ceremonies. 2021 marks 72 years of Highland Farm’s history in Scarborough, Maine. From the beginning, the property has been operating as a greenhouse. In fact, in the 1800’s, Highland Farm was the largest supplier of cut flowers in the Northeast. Highland Farm is a family owned and operated business, and the undeniable sense of family and welcome energy is palpable the moment you step on the grounds. The saying is true here: “you come as strangers and leave as family.” The Greenhouse and The Farm has been run by 3rd generation owners, Joe and Christine since 2008, but Joe and Christine’s involvement in the farm runs far deeper than ownership. Cunningham farm is a boutique Maine wedding venue set in picturesque New Gloucester, Maine - located between Portland, Auburn, Brunswick and Freeport. Cunningham Farm is primarily used as a venue for estate, barn and outdoor weddings.The property boasts more than 90 acres of land inclusive of three event barns, a farmhouse, a pond, a river, a meandering brook, rock walls, and an iconic tree farm - complete with a white farm fence - there couldn’t be a more beautiful property to serve as a backdrop for your magical day.

Our venue is a restaurant/brewery that is very open and airy. We have high ceilings and exposed wood beams. Our company was started by 3 Dads. They all live in Scarborough and have children in the Scarborough school system. 1 is the Brewer (Michael), 1 is the Builder (Tim) and one is the Executive Chef (Jeff). Our small, certified-organic, family farm provides an affordable wedding ceremony venue in a peaceful, spiritual setting just 15 minutes from downtown Portland. Bountiful nature surrounds the farm, its 2 small vineyards, and charming chickens & ducks who live here. (We are a no-kill.) Couples can rent the venue from 10 AM - 9 PM for their ceremony & après wedding cocktail reception. After the ceremony, guests can snack on hors d’oeuvres & champagne while the couple has their unforgettable wedding day photographs taken on the farm. Rental fee includes: tables & chairs, one-of-a-kind floral arrangements for your tables, our Day of Event Coordinator, Tent, use of the Mirrored Baltic Ceremonial Labyrinth, and toilet. Catering & Drinks: Preferred list; No onsite lodging. Pets are not allowed on the property for the safety of our livestock. We are an a la cart venue, which means we are a blank slate for you to create the wedding of your dreams. we offer ceremony benches a wooden arbor and a good amount of decor and lighting. There are TWO 5 bedroom houses on the property for rent. These houses are perfect for your wedding parties to stay at, and get ready at.

The Red Barn is the newest and most exciting addition to Outlook Farm. This beautiful addition allows us to offer an event location for all seasons. The reconstruction of the Red Barn is the first project in a phased approach to restore and renovate the Outlook Farm property to its original grandeur of 100 years ago. The new building maintains the look and feel of the historic Maine barn it has always been while featuring all of the amenities available in the most modern of banquet facilities.
