Life is full of amazing moments. Moments we want to hang onto tight, moments we want to never forget, moments we want to be able to re-experience anytime. There is a way to do just that - photography. How often have we looked at a photo and the whole memory comes flooding back? How often does a photo make us laugh or cry? When we share photos with others, they want to know more about the moment. We share the stories, and in doing so, we bring them in on the memory too.

Without Angela & James my wedding would have been postponed or cancelled. Angela gave me info to help my wedding possible in the time of COVID. And let me tell you... they are TRULY A BLESSING. The best investment we made for the wedding was photography. I told my husband that was something I would not budge on and I’m glad I didn’t, Angela and James became like friends to us. I text Angela on the holidays and even when my son was born! They pay so much attention to detail that looking back at my photos they captured moments that I didn’t even realize were a part of my wedding. Their turnaround time is remarkable, all the sneak peaks made me want to see more and more and when I got the final photos I was in awe of all of them. Thank you to Angela & James for capturing the beautiful moments of our wedding!!!! Such genuine people and I’m glad that we met them and built a friendship!!!!

I'm a San Francisco bay area based wedding photographer. However, I am available for travel anywhere! Passport is ready and willing! Truth: I am slightly obsessed with all things girly, and anything that sparkles. Ok, well, maybe it's not slightly, more like severely. I think it's because I live in a house full of boys; I have an amazing hubby and 3 little men. Shooting weddings and seeing people on their amazing day is my happy place. When I'm shooting your wedding I want it to be so fun and relaxed that you are able to enjoy the process.

Brooke and Laurel photographed our wedding in November 2023 at Casa Real in Pleasanton, CA. We started at 10am and ended around 9pm (a long day!!). Brooke was extremely communicative and detailed oriented through the entire planning process. On the wedding day, Brooke and Laurel were awesome the entire time, guiding us through lighting, poses, and making sure everything was captured. They were also extremely nice, and it was so much fun to work with them. Highly recommend!!

Hilo & Ginger

Hilo & Ginger was founded by me in 2013. Born in Austria and raised around the world, the traveling gene has been soever present. I am based in New York City, shooting weddings & editorials worldwide.

Luca, at Hilo & Ginger, was an absolute gem to work with! You will not find a more versatile, go-with-the-flow, able to adapt to anything photographer. She is professional, hard-working and personable which really puts you at ease while you are posing and standing for tons of pictures throughout the day. Sometimes we didn't even know she was there capturing the greatest candid shot. Seriously, we cannot recommend her enough. The last thing you want on your wedding day is to feel stressed and Luca makes sure to alleviate any potential stress, while staying on top of her A game with every shot!! Luca never missed a single moment- not one. She captured moments that we didn't even know had existed, until we were looking over our photos together. She perfectly captured all the joy of our day in laughing candids, funny photos and still took some of the most gorgeous and breathtaking shots I've ever seen. Did I mention she did the entire shoot in the rain in freezing cold weather? Not once did she complain and the photos she took came out stunning. She was ready to work on the fly in any environment. Like I said, a no-stress wedding photographer is absolutely a MUST when it comes to weddings ladies, trust me! When my husband, James, and I got married in NYC, we were very worried that we would not be able to find a quality photographer in Manhattan that would fit our limited budget, but Luca exceeded our expectations in giving us a great deal that fit right within our budget and she gave us GORGEOUS photos. Not to mention she sent us some of the edited photos the same day...THE SAME DAY. I'm telling you, working with Luca was unlike any other experience I've had, witnessed at other weddings, or heard of from my friends. 10/10 would recommend. You would be foolish not to consider hiring Hilo & Ginger to make your wedding dreams come true.

Sam Sarkis Photography

Sam Sarkis Photography “Photography is more than a job for me, it is my passion! It is who I am as an individual. Some call me a friend or mentor; my family calls me a Father and a Husband. But everybody calls me a Photographer. That is who I am and what I am known for. As a young man growing I had a dream to capture the dreams of others and bring them to reality on film and canvass, this was what I was born to do. Each day I walk into my studio, I thank God for allowing me the privilege of living out my dreams.”

-Overall: We loved working with Sam and his daughter Loreen – they were professional, kind, and captured so many wonderful moments at our May wedding. -Photo Style: We hired Sam and Loreen for our wedding photos for their cinematic qualities. We looked at several photographers, but we saw a lot of photos that looked like they could have been taken with an iPhone. Sam is different - his style is classic photography, and Loreen's attention to detail really complimented Sam's style. -Working with Sam and Loreen: We did many portraits as a couple and with our wedding party, and Sam and Loreen worked the room during our cocktail hour and reception. In addition, we interviewed Sam and he reassured us that working with my brother, Seth, who is autistic, wouldn't be a problem - and it wasn't! Sam and Loreen gave great, clear instruction, which is always helpful and appreciated.

I genuinely want to forge a connection, hang with you, and earn your trust. I'll capture everything, and I'll be there for you whether you need a safety pin or someone to wipe away your tears.

Where do I even start?! Our journey with Sydney began 3 years ago when we fell in love with her style and video chatted with her before hiring her to take our engagement photos. From the very beginning, Sydney felt like a good friend, made us feel totally comfortable, and had amazing ideas for great photos. We were above and beyond happy with our photos and couldn't wait for her to shoot our wedding. Our wedding day finally came around and OH. MY. GOD. Words cannot describe how absolutely beautiful our photos are! She knew exactly what I liked and somehow managed to capture all the little details and ALL THE LOVE perfectly! I've had multiple people tell me that her photos are the best they've ever seen! Every single one! There weren't just some good photos, they were ALL good! Sydney is very communicative, open to changes, easily reachable, and will work hard to make you happy! Thank you so much for allowing us to relive our perfect day! <3
