“Helena skillfully captured our most joyous and precious moments of our wedding day. She was everything we wished for in a wedding photographer and more! A unique vision. On multiple occasions, Helena would excitedly pose us in a certain position or she would run up some stairs to capture a certain angle. I knew I was watching an artist in her element. She is so stunningly creative in her use of the environment. My favorite example of this was when Helena had a whimsical idea to use the afternoon light through the window to cast a silhouette of us on the wall. The shot left us in awe. It is one of my favorites! The right time and place. Helena has a unique way of knowing what might happen next so she can position herself to capture subtle and sweet moments. For example, during the reception, right after we made our toast to all our guests, I sat back down next to my Mom who then leaned in for a quick hug and a kiss. I barely remembered it (was starving and a bit tipsy). Imagine my delight to find that precious little memory captured in the sneak peaks we received shortly after! I still can't believe Helena captured that. It's one of those "is someone cutting onions?" pictures that I will cherish. A friend. Helena made us feel at ease and comfortable throughout our three sessions: the ceremony, welcome party, and the reception. All our friends enjoyed their time meeting Helena and complimented her on her creativity (we heard all the ooh's and ah's as Helena was posing us). When we were posing with our parents who weren't very fluent in English, Helena spoke in Chinese to help direct them as well. Towards the end of our reception, we had to make sure we had a photo together so we can remember what a special part she had. We felt she went "above and beyond" for us. Helena is simply amazing. He knew all of the ins and outs and was going to be prepared for any unexpected changes that might come his way. On the day of the wedding, him and his staff were able to seamlessly work with our videographer to capture all of the important moments we wanted. They were well organized and had a clear game plan. I cannot stress how important having him was on the day of the wedding. He kept my wife and I at ease and was able to adjust to all of the twist and turns that were thrown at him. He was always looking out for us as a couple and made sure our best interests were held. Everyone involved with our wedding spoke so highly of him and his staff.
