How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 6-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Question 2

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.

Question 3

Will you edit all our pictures?

Accepted Answer

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and people removal free of charge.

Question 4

Do you also offer video services?

Accepted Answer

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

Question 5

How long will it take to see our pictures?

Accepted Answer

Each image is carefully selected and then edited. I also make sure that the images that are chosen are beautiful enough that it can tell a story just by looking at it. Blemishes are also removed if necessary. The images will also consist of both colored and black and white. This process can take 6-8 weeks with the final product delivered on a USB.

How many pictures will we get?

Accepted Answer

Typically a client will receive an average of 600-700 images for a wedding coverage. But this number will vary depending on the number of activiies in a given wedding event. Preps, bridal/groom portraits, couples portraits, details are all going to play a part in the final number of images that will be delivered. Also the events during a reception ie. first dance, bouquet toss, garter toss and the dance party are also taken into consideration.

Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Question 8

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

Question 9

I see some of your couples and hey look like they were born to be in front of the camera, which sadly, I am not. How am I going to do this?

To be honest, none of my couples have any background in modeling. Most of it has to do with the couple finally warming up to me holding a big camera in front of them. Which happens after a few minutes of shooting. And there are alot of tricks that I do to make the couples feel comfortable and relaxed. One of them is, doing the actual pose. Does not matter if it's for the girl or guy. Just to get a laugh or smile. And that usually breaks the ice. Besides I usually try to "read" my couple to see what their strengths and weaknesses are. Pretty much once I get the couple comfortable, all I have to do is press the shutter.
