Loes Takes Clips
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)

I'm a photographer who loves, love and being able to share that through my lens is what drives everything I do. I have a deep adoration for storytelling and capturing the authentic, unscripted moments that matter most. I believe every love story is unique, and my goal is to bring excitement, ease, and a calming presence to your most important day. With a passion for preserving real emotions and meaningful memories, I aim to capture photographs that you'll cherish for a lifetime.

Logan has been a good friend of mine for years, so asking her to photograph our engagement shoot was a no-brainer for me. Her natural ability to bring any vision to life, mixed with her unwavering work ethic, is what sets her apart. I can tell her one idea I have, and she will effortlessly create something better than I could have ever imagined. We have a 1965 Corvette in our family that I thought would be cool to use as part of our shoot. I trusted her to tell us where and how we could incorporate it, and she brought our vision to life. She goes above and beyond, even standing in the middle of the road in Carmel-by-the-Sea as cars try to pass, to bring that vision to life. Also, we are far from naturals in front of the camera. I always rely on Logan to give us ideas for how to create movement and relax. Working with someone so kind and able to make you feel comfortable is crucial, because it not only creates an outcome you will love, but you will have fun doing so as well.

I started shooting photos and video in Greece, and since moving to the US, I have dedicated myself to shooting weddings, elopements and engagements. I love being able to capture the love that my couples have for each other and the unique energy each couple has. I am always down to shoot in new locations and find the best place for my shoots!

From the very first phone call, Enea set the tone for everything that followed. We’re not “picture people” at all, so the idea of an engagement shoot at San Francisco City Hall had us both quietly panicking. Enea’s warmth, humor, and genuine conversation melted every ounce of awkwardness away. We laughed more than we posed, and somehow walked out with **stunning, frame-worthy shots** that still make us grin. My husband loved them so much he had them printed and sewn onto the lining of the vest he wore on our wedding day – talk about a keepsake! Come the wedding day, Te Dua’s team was a dream. We got all the classic staged portraits we wanted, but what stole our hearts were the candid, in-the-moment captures: friends tearing up the dance floor, champagne toasts mid-laugh, family members just having a good time every second of joy preserved forever. And then there’s Luke, the videographer – wow. The highlight film he delivered is straight out of a Hollywood romance. The editing, the music, the pacing… it’s an emotional roller-coaster that replays the entire day in under ten minutes. I’ve watched it on repeat and cry every single time. Turnaround wasn’t instant, but every second of the wait was worth it. The quality, care, and artistry shine through in every photo and frame of video. Te Dua Weddings Photography isn’t just a vendor – they’re memory-makers. If you want to relive your day with tears of happiness for years to come, book them. 10/10, no hesitation, highly recommend!

J. Lee Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding day! The quirky and fun communication style made her super easy to talk to, and we felt at ease with her from the start. Not only did she include our engagement photos, but captured our wedding day beautifully as well. Sonya Yruel Photography

With a candid style and two decades of professional photography experience, my passion is capturing real moments and creating photos that tell your story. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am proud to work in the diverse communities here, and welcome the diversity of my clients who are looking to both honor past family traditions as well as create some of their own. My approach to wedding photography is simple; the day of the wedding is about two people coming together to celebrate their marriage with their loved ones, and photos are about connection and trust. My goal is to have your photographs remind you of how you felt that day.

Sonya was truly a pleasure to work with and we are extremely glad we went with her over all the other photographers out there. We were first interested in her when we saw her online portfolio and liked her style. Afterwards, we met her in-person to ask questions and go over the whole process. Sonya was extremely pleasant to talk to with her warm and professional demeanor. She answered all our questions and went over the contract with us in great detail. After deciding to go with her, Sonya reached out to set an engagement shoot date. The engagement shoot went smoothly and Sonya never rushed us or seemed in a rush. Even when we went over the designated hours set for us, she stayed until we finished going throughout the entire place we went to. Of course the photos all turned out great and we even used a few inside the wedding as features. On the day of the wedding, Sonya showed up exactly on time with her assistant photographer. She is very professional, personable, and wonderful to work with! In between our ceremony and reception, we were able to do a 20-min photoshoot. Sonya knew immediately which shots to take and the photoshoot went very, very smoothly. She has amazing attention to detail and she knows exactly what she is doing. After we received the photos back from her, we loved her work and had so many amazing photos to choose from! Overall, we give our highest recommendation to Sonya! Additionally, she replies very quickly to inquiries and when we were planning the wedding. It was great to have quick communication. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Sonya!!!

Joy Coakley Studio

I am an Oklahoma born, but Cali raised - dancer, roller skater, photography stylist, photographer, momma to two little girls, foodie, crafter, lover of laughter, action and pyscho-thriller movie watcher, and sports player. I also find peace in the outdoors and California trees. I like to keep it active and adventurous. I believe in giving 110% at everything I do, but also want it to be fun. I chose photography to be my vocation because I have a true obsession with humans and the way we love, interact, and celebrate rituals personal to our families and cultures. I stand up for equality and justice for BIPOC and LGBTTQQIAAP.

Joy was so amazing from start to finish! We booked Joy and her team for our Engagement session and Wedding Day. She helped brainstorm ideas for the engagement shoot and made all our visions a reality with bomb photos of us featuring my husbands old school. As all brides know, the planning experience can be stressful and full of anxiety dealing with multiple vendors - but I never had that experience working with Joy. I 100% trusted her to capture our big day. I’ve heard stories from other brides about “I wish our photographer did this, was able to take photos of that..” but not with Joy! She communicated great leading up to and on the big day. Everywhere I looked Joy and her team was on the move capturing the best shots in the right spots. Our photos turned out amazing and we were so happy to have Joy there with us on such a memorable day. I highly recommend and trust Joy for any photo sessions, whether it’s family holiday shoots, grad photos, engagement sessions and wedding day! She is an absolute gem, so talented and pleasure to work with!

Radostina Boseva Photography
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Alameda, CA
  • Editorial style

Radostina (rhymes with “patina”) was born and raised in the coastal town of Varna, Bulgaria. After finishing her Master’s in Arts, she moved to the Czech Republic, where she began her career in graphic design, styling, and art direction. It was there, in the middle of her Czech adventure, that the passion for film photography was born. Now, an award-winning fine art wedding photographer, Radostina resides in San Francisco, with her husband Martin and their English bulldog, Fuji.

We are so happy that we chose Radostina to capture our special moment. Everything was smooth and contributed to the overall experience - from the initial contact to photographing the event to delivering the stunning photos. Radostina's attention for detail is second to none and her taste is impeccable, she gave us great ideas before and during the event on how to capture every moment in a way that we can preserve our memories. The colors, the captured light and the emotions on the pictures are just mesmerizing, probably because it was captured on film. We'd love to have Radostina capture another special moment for us in the future.

I'm Vanessa — Bay Area born and raised, obsessed with capturing the moments that matter most. When I'm not behind the camera you'll find me testing new recipes, catching up with friends over a dirty martini, or cruising with country music turned all the way up. What I love most isn't the perfectly posed portraits — it's the in-between moments. The way your person looks at you when they think no one's watching. The grandfather wiping a tear during the first dance. I specialize in wine country weddings throughout Livermore, Napa, and Sonoma — images that feel effortless and completely yours.

We are so happy we had the opportunity to have Vanessa capture our special day! The quality of her work is exceptional, with beautiful colors and candid moments filled with love. Vanessa constantly checked in to make sure we got the shots we wanted, and went above and beyond to focus on capturing the special interactions between our family and friends. We couldn't be happier with the final photos - they truly helped make our special day even more memorable.

I'm Katherine, a wedding photographer based in Oakland, CA. With over a decade of experience and features in Vogue, Brides, The New York Times, and more, I know how to create wedding photos that don’t just look stunning — they feel like you. No trendy filters, no forced poses, just authentic moments that reflect who you are. I believe the best moments aren’t staged. They unfold naturally, in the quiet glances, the belly laughs, and those unspoken connections shared with your loved ones. My goal is to capture those raw, in-between moments that truly make your wedding day yours!

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring Katherine was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Every single aspect of working with her was perfect: from the first phone consultation to engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, wedding, and every call, email, and question in between. Katherine makes you feel like you're talking to an old friend from the moment you meet her- she is warm, fun, funny, kind, and just knows how to put you at ease in front of the camera. We had a clear vision of what we wanted for our photos and she beyond exceeded our expectations. Every time I look through our photo gallery (which she delivered SO quickly) I find a new favorite, even 1.5 years after our wedding. She truly captured the feeling of being there from the intimate setting of our rehearsal dinner to the rowdy wedding reception. I cannot thank Katherine enough for being such a large part of making our wedding perfect!

I was absolutely astonished with how beautiful the pictures came out (though not surprised as this is our second time working with Thoun and her assistant Toni)! I really wanted to go above and beyond with our photography for the wedding and she delivers far more than I could have ever hoped for!! She has a keen eye with setting us up in the perfect spots to capture the most of everything around us, especially the natural lighting coming through the trees! I love how both Thoun and Toni were able to help us with figuring out how to pose around certain situations and how helpful they were with handling my huge dress lol I have nothing but good words for these two and will always recommend them!!!

Thomas is the most amazing photographer/artist/ just coolest human. From the start, their communication was efficient, friendly, and incredibly organized. He's not just a wedding photographer, he's a true artist and his professional work is simply perfect. He knew exactly where to shoot and how to use the lighting to capture all the best moments. One of my favorite things about our wedding was getting to know Thomas and seeing his magical work in real time. He's also so good at improvising at time of stress and I honestly don't know how he does it. The number one compliment we kept getting from our guests/family was how amazing our photographer was - so many people raved about him and he was easily our favorite vendor. Everyone was still talking about him long after the wedding was over. Thomas you are amazing. Thank you so much for making our magical day even more magical.

Shawna GD Photography
Rating: 5.0 (16 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,200
  • Serves Alameda, CA

I photograph intimate weddings and elopements with intention, emotion, and a little bit of edge. My approach is simple: your photos should feel like you. Real, raw and timeless, not stiff or performative. I'm here to catch the unplanned magic and the editorial moments that make your story look and feel as fabulous as you do.

I had the absolute privilege of having Shawna capture my engagement photos, and later, serve as my second shooter on my wedding day. I say “privilege” because I still can’t believe someone so kind, genuine, and sweet truly exists. When I first met Shawna and her husband Patrick for our engagement session, they made the entire experience so easy and fun, even though my husband and I are far from comfortable in front of a camera. They made the session completely about us, helping us feel relaxed and natural. The moment we finished, I knew there was no way I could imagine my wedding day without Shawna being a part of it. At the wedding, Shawna seamlessly collaborated with my main photographer. She was professional, detail-oriented, and fully committed to making sure our day was as perfect as it could be. But Shawna went beyond just photography, she truly got to know us as a couple, took the time to learn what mattered to us, and poured her passion not only into her work but into us as clients. On my wedding morning, I was having a really difficult time, but the second Shawna arrived, her smile and calming presence gave me comfort I can’t even put into words. She immediately asked, “How can I help?”… and she meant it. She jumped right in, kept me grounded, and reminded me to enjoy the moment. I will never regret choosing Shawna for my photos. Not only did I gain beautiful memories captured forever, but I also feel like I’ve gained a friend for life.

I’m Adam Clark, a Livermore-based photographer capturing weddings with authenticity and heart. I love documenting real moments—the laughter, the tears, the joy—so couples can relive their day for years to come. My approach is a mix of candid storytelling and beautiful, timeless portraits. Every wedding is unique, and I’m passionate about creating images that reflect your story, personalities, and love in a way that feels natural and unforgettable.

Adam is so much more than a wedding photographer. From the very beginning, he became a meaningful part of our entire wedding experience, not just someone there to take pictures. He brought a calm presence, a thoughtful eye, and an incredible ability to be in the right place at exactly the right moment. What sets Adam apart is how deeply he understands people. He didn’t just capture images, he captured emotion. The joy, the love, the quiet in-between moments, and the beauty of the day were all honored in a way that feels authentic and timeless. Every photo tells a story, and together they reflect the heart of my daughter’s wedding in the most beautiful way possible. As a parent, I cannot overstate how much it meant to know those moments were being cared for with such intention. Adam elevated the day simply by being part of it. If you are looking for someone who will truly see you, your people, and your story, Adam is that person. We are forever grateful for the memories he preserved for our family.

I’m Cherlyn (rhymes with Berlin). So nice to e-meet you! If we met in person and it wasn’t during a pandemic- I would probably hug you! I’m an introvert-extrovert and tend to ramble too much when I get nervous. In emails - I tend to use exclamation points a lot!! (and will agonize over my drafts of emails before sending them because they probably have one too many!!) My aim as your photographer is to provide a memorable experience where you two feel comfortable, taken care of, and get to fully enjoy your wedding day as much as possible with all your guests & loved ones - whether they be in real life or via livestream!

Awarded Best of Zola
Cherlyn was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding photographer. It was reassuring to have someone with Cherlyn’s experience and knowledge with us before our ceremony at SF city hall, it made us feel more prepared. She confidently navigated the space and guided us through our photos. I had some anxiety around being photographed, but right away Cherlyn made me feel comfortable. I genuinely felt like we were in good hands the entire time and I’m grateful she was part of our day. The sneak peek photos Cherlyn sent us so far are absolutely beautiful, I could shed a happy tear each time I look at them. She captured our day so perfectly. We are excitedly awaiting the development of our film photos and super 8 video. We cannot recommend Cherlyn enough to anyone looking for a talented and thoughtful photographer who makes you feel completely at ease.

I believe love is love and happily photograph couples of all backgrounds, orientations, religions and gender expressions. I aim to create authentic and emotive images for my clients and edit true to color so the work will be timeless. My personality is friendly and warm, which helps make my couples feel at ease and open up in front of the camera. I donate $100 from every wedding day package to a non profit organization (either the ACLU, End the Backlog or the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation) because I believe paying it forward in honor of love is an excellent first step into marriage.

Jenna was recommended to us by another photographer and it was such a pleasure to work with her! We greatly appreciated how much she wanted to know us and our personalities in advance of our wedding day. We ended every zoom call or email exchange feeling confident in our decision to work with her. The weather on our wedding day wasn’t very cooperative, but Jenna and team were on the lookout for any break in the rain so that we could go up to the roof and get a few pictures. And she totally nailed them—they are some of our favorite pictures from the day. Jenna and team made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and also captured some incredible candids. If you’re looking for a fun, positive, and easy-to-work with photographer—Jenna is the right pick!

In my free time you can find me drinking wine with friends, maybe on a run, laying around with my dog, near a lake or finding the best tacos.

We could not imagine working with any other photographer for our wedding! From our first video meeting to touch base, to our engagement shoot, and ultimately our wedding day, Marisa collaborated with us and other vendors with so much grace and a great sense of humor. She communicates clearly and punctually. We were particularly impressed with how she was able to wrangle our large families and get group photos together with confidence, but also captured the small, intimate moments so perfectly. We will forever cherish the photos that perfectly encapsulate the best day of our lives. Thank you so much, Marisa!

Alex is a very talented photographer and an absolute joy to work with! We had the pleasure of working with him for our engagement and wedding photos. He was extremely professional and friendly. He captured the essence of our wedding day beautifully. His work is stunning and high quality. His artistic shots look straight out of a wedding magazine editorial. We would absolutely work with Alex again if given the chance.

My name is Maddie Smidebush and I'm a photographer based in Brentwood, California and I believe in capturing the beauty of love through every lens. I've been a photographer for over 7 years and shooting weddings full time for 5. I specialize in weddings, engagements and elopements with a focus on natural, candid moments that reflect the true essence of your day. While working at a wedding photography studio for the past 3 years I've been able to acquire a careers worth of experience through the shooting of over 300 weddings in that time.

From our first conversation with Maddie at Moments By Madz, I knew I had found our photographer. She got back to us right away every single time we reached out, which made the whole planning process smooth and stress-free. On our wedding day, Maddie was organized and got our large family photos done with ease while directing us to get the perfect shot every time. Her work is stunning and professional, and honestly we're obsessed with her photos. She made everything feel so easy and comfortable, and we loved every moment working with her. We would hire her again in a heartbeat!

We hired Meraki Art as our last minute wedding ceremony videographer and to set up a live stream of the event. We were very happy with results. Shuhan communicated regularly online and on the phone, which made the process very smooth. This was a last minute request for help to stream our wedding ceremony for guests overseas that could not attend the event. Shuhan was responsive, easy to work with, and truly helped make our special day perfect. We highly recommend her!
