“Sam was an AMAZING day of coordinator for our wedding, it would not have gone as smooth without her help. She is a wedding day essential! Booking with Simon was super easy, they are easily reachable by email. The food was great and everyone loved the tiramisu we had picked out for dessert. We also hired our DJ, Alex, through them and he was so fun and hyped everyone up on the dancefloor. Our bartender was even able to recognize everyones drink orders by the end of the night! I would highly recommend their services to anyone wanting to book several vendors through one company.”

“We worked with Andrea and the catering team from Chris' Ono Grinds in North Park for our wedding in December 2023 in Solana Beach. From the beginning of our planning we knew we wanted delicious food for our guests and Andrea and her team delivered! She was involved in our planning process early, participated in video chats to figure out our requests and she went out to see the venue herself to make sure the plan was a good fit for our event. We received many compliments from our guests about the food (the spam musubi appetizers were a particular hit along with the kalbi entree) and no one left hungry! On the day itself we had great servers during set up and serving in the event, very professional and helpful throughout. We recommend anyone planning a big event to consider bringing in the delicious food from Chris' Ono Grinds”

“We are still on cloud nine after our wedding at the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas, and we owe so much of that joy to Abbey Catering & Event Design. They were simply phenomenal from day one! When we first inquired, Will was great at explaining all of the packages they provide and answering any questions we had. After we signed, we were assigned to Petr Trebin our amazing wedding coordinator!! Petr truly brought our vision to life and we are SO thankful for all of the work he did to make it our dream wedding! Petr made the time leading up to our wedding day and the actual day so seamless! He managed the timeline, coordinated with all of the vendors, and beautifully set up our welcome table and reception tables! He also made sure to have apps and drinks set aside for us after the ceremony to enjoy! He truly thinks of everything and is the best! The food was absolutely incredible and a major highlight for both us and our guests. We chose the dual entrée of panko-herb crusted chicken and NY striploin, which were both flavorful and beautifully plated. During cocktail hour, guests raved about the tray-passed appetizers and loved our open bar! David the event captain, and their team made it a great experience for our guests. We had our cake and cupcakes included in the package through Sugar Bear Provisions and our guests were raving about how delicious this was! The florals that were included in the package from Emerald & Ivy were breathtaking from the ceremony arch to the bouquet and reception tables! They were also flexible with us providing our own vases since we had specific vases we wanted to use, which tied perfectly with the gold flatware and charger plates we upgraded to! Our DJ Brian who was included in the package through the wedding entertainment collective was awesome! He kept the energy high, and the music was a perfect blend of our favorite styles and totally reflected our personalities as a couple! We also opted to include photography & videography in our package and both Deb and Tareq were fabulous to work with! We love being able to look back on our video and photos that takes us right back to our day. Every vendor included in the their all-inclusive package through The Abbey was top-tier, and we are so grateful to the entire team for making our wedding day feel effortless, beautiful, and completely us! “We could not have been happier with the service we received from Buckboard as the catering provider for our wedding. Right from the initial meeting Ashley, (Buckboard’s sales manager) gave us a personalized introduction and very friendly tasting. It was clear from this initial interaction that she cared more about our experience and less about just becoming one of their customers. The food was/is absolutely delicious. Every single item was cooked perfectly, and it was clear from the initial tasting that their chefs and cooks take genuine pride in cooking high quality meals that do not come off as “mass produced” like a number of other caterers in the area. We have lost count of the number of guests who told us during and after the meal that it was by far the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, and this is reflective of the company as a whole. Ashley and JP (the Chief Operating Officer) were both present during the planning process, and worked with us directly to determine a menu that would be both wonderful for the guests as well as within our budget. When dietary restrictions were presented, Ashley and her team made the accommodations easy and care free, and provided options that were also delicious. She and her staff were so friendly and professional on the day-of that a number of guests went out of their way to comment on the crew. We cannot rave enough about the services we received from Buckboard Catering. To make matters better they also operate a full-time restaurant in El Cajon, which we plan on frequenting regularly when visiting San Diego. For prospective couples planning a wedding, choosing Buckboard as your caterer will not only put your mind at ease knowing the quality of service you will be receiving, but you and your guests will be absolutely thrilled with the meal you get to enjoy.”

“Truly a remarkable experience from start to finish, they operate with such excellence! We have been using Off the Vine Dining for a couple years now. They have done intimate events with us, and some of our larger company events with hundreds of people. Brian has always been extremely helpful curating menus with me, all of the menu offerings are so fantastic that I have always had a problem selecting items. He goes above and beyond with taking in account all of our dietary restrictions that some of our guests have, he has even customized and created some menu items for us. I was so touched at one of our events when Brian overheard one of our guests say they didn't do dairy, and was able to make some small adjustments so that the guest could still enjoy every dish. That's above and beyond! Brian and his team always do a beautiful, professional, and efficient job setting up, serving, and cleaning up. The decor is stunning, they have fresh flowers and everything is presented so wonderfully. They even left my kitchen cleaner then when they arrived, I told my husband lets host an event next time we need to clean our kitchen, hahaha!! The service is always amazing, the team is so cheerful and always smiling during the events. You could tell they really loved serving people, it was such a delight to experience.
