Avery Wong Photography
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
San Bruno, CA
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,700

I can tell you how I started shooting photos since I was a young wee lad, but that's what everyone else says and also it's not true. I didn't even pick up a camera until I was in high school. I'm the type of person who ignores convention and does it differently, my own way. Seldom the "right" way, but always the "Wong" way. My passion for creativity and my adeptness of the tech and the technical is what allows me to weave my craft and to produce art for my couples.

When my now husband and I were looking for a photographer, we made a tier list. After lots of weeding out of mediocre photographers, we narrowed our selections down to two. We resolved to contact the last two to see which one we wanted to go with. From the minute I first met Avery on zoom, I knew that I wanted to work with him. Not only are his photos phenomenal and extremely cinematic, they are somehow able to tell a story in the photo. I felt moved looking at some of his albums and I wondered how he was able to do that. When we actually got to working with him on our wedding day, I understood his process: He actually knows how to pose a model and gives clear instructions on where to put your hand, when to tilt head down, where to look, etc. This is what I was specifically looking for, as I've had some photographers who were just 'okay' that snapped away but gave no direction as to what to do. I think this is the mark of an excellent photographer and one who has clearly done many weddings. My butt looks great in all the photos. :) Also, I feel like I would qualify as a quirky bride, and he totally embraced that and took photos of my multiple plushies. That's a 100 in my book.

From the moment they arrived, I knew we made the right choice. They were calm, friendly, and honestly lifesavers during my nervous moments. Our wedding was last November 2023, and the way they captured the sunset at the beach was unreal. The drone shots made our video look like a Netflix movie! One tiny thing, I wish they included more clips of my friends dancing, but overall, 10/10 experience.

Thalia Moshtagh Photography
Rating: 5.0 (27 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,200
  • Serves San Bruno, CA

Hello! I’m so excited for the chance to work with you. I’m a former teacher who has always had a passion for photography. I started working freelance in 2015 and did a lot of my first jobs in the music industry. I shot Warped Tour a few times and even had one of my promos featured by AP magazine. I quickly realized I loved working with couples the most, and now focus on couple and family portraits and weddings!

Awarded Best of Zola
From our very first meeting over Zoom with Thalia, I knew we’d made the right choice. Her chipper, upbeat, and lighthearted personality made us feel at ease immediately. We had the pleasure of working with Thalia for our engagement photos, our wedding, and my sister’s wedding. Each time, she was a master at combining carefully curated poses with beautifully captured candids that embodied the spirit of the event and of the couples at the center. Thalia skillfully posed us in ways that photographed beautifully and didn’t feel awkward in the moment—my husband and I were laughing and enjoying ourselves the entire time. Thalia has a true gift for composition and what initially drew me to her was the moodier vibe of the photography style. With that said, she knows when to play it up and when to tone it down and allow the natural vibrancy of the moment take center stage. In every opportunity, Thalia delivered a stunning variety of photos within her advertised timeframe. Her prices are extremely fair for the work she delivers, and my family and I immediately ordered multiple prints and albums from her very user-friendly website. I can’t recommend Thalia highly enough—if you’re looking for a photographer to take your special event to the next level and create memories to last a lifetime, you’ll be ecstatic you chose Thalia.

Hello there! I'm a storyteller and a destination photographer. My style is a blend of photojournalism and creativity. I'm always chasing to capture the perfect moment. Moment + Composition + Lighting. Capturing your wedding day unposed.

My husband and I got married outside of Denver in August 2025. Ryan was responsive from the get go. Considering his talent and pricing you should absolutely book with him. He was patient with my husband and I both who are awkward in front of a camera! There was an organic feel throughout the entire process. He truly made it feel natural and fun, and we’re extremely happy with his quality of work. The digital photos are stunning, and he captured many on film and the versatility of the photos are lovely. We’d emphasized that we wanted pictures of ours guests as well, and he got amazing shots of our friends and family as well! His attention to detail and timeliness couldn’t have been any better. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Feel free to reach out to me personally if you’d like further testimonials on why you should book.

HEY! I'm Sean, a Bay Area native who is pretty darn handy with a camera. My full-time photography journey began after losing my job in Art Education and STEM due to the pandemic. That's when I decided to bet on myself to pursue my passion for photography as my primary career. What excites me most as a photographer are the opportunities to meet new people and collaborate with them to create incredible art. I think great photographs requires a strong interpersonal bond with the photographer and the subject and that's why wedding photography is especially fulfilling because it requires so much trust, confidence and relationship building.

Awarded Best of Zola
Sean photographed our wedding and we couldn't have wished for a better photographer! He was a pleasure to communicate with and went above and beyond to make sure all important moments were captured, and done so in the style we wanted. He did a lot of preparation in advance, and worked tirelessly to get the best shots on the day of the wedding itself. The photographs came out beyond gorgeous! I wish we could give him 10 out of 5 stars :)

Trung Hoang Photography
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)

  • Serves San Bruno, CA

My name is Trung, the head honcho at this eponymously named company. My name is pronounced “Troon”, which sounds like spoon, so ignore those other letters that make life complicated. I've been a photographer for close to 10 years, photographing things big and small, far and wide. It's pretty incredible how impactful and valuable a split second image of a given time, place, person, or object can mean to a person. Whether it's a photograph of someone you love or a place you'd love to be, photographs spark memories or inspire the pursuit of new ones and that's why I love it.

Trung went above and beyond as our wedding photographer! His photography is not only STUNNING and really captures the emotions of the moment, but he was incredibly organized, fun, and highly adept at problem solving. We wanted some shots by the ocean, but the wind made it a little difficult. Trung was calm in problem solving and his humor also helped make everything feel more relaxed. We can't express enough the difference he made in getting the shots we wanted, but also navigating everything so well! We are so happy to have gotten to work with him and highly recommend Trung!

It was great having Jenni photograph our wedding. As a fellow queer, there was a level of comfort and understanding that was nice to not have to think about. And she sure knows her way with a camera. We had her dealing with unfavorable lighting (noon sun under leafy trees) and difficult angles (hills) and she gave us some beautiful pictures. She has a good eye and is a quick thinker. Hi, I’m Yana — the photographer behind The Y.K. Studio. With a background in fine art and documentary photography, I bring an intentional, editorial eye to your celebration day, balancing artistic composition with raw, honest storytelling. I will gently guide you in a way that feels authentic, allowing you to interact naturally and have the most joyful photographic experience. Based in Pacifica but available all around the Bay Area and beyond.

We cannot recommend Yana enough. We are so thrilled with the photos we received and just overall experience. Feel free to read more of the nitty gritty below, but TL;DR: we would give her way more than 5/5 stars if we could. :) The Experience: Yana was so warm, communicative, and organized from the start. She quickly replied to my request for an engagement photoshoot and had a very organized/simple process for getting started. She helped us select the right location and also gave tons of tips/guidance on picking out some outfits, as well as some fun pose ideas! We were a bit nervous going into the shoot as we didn't want it to feel super rigid/awkward with very forced/posed shots, but that couldn't be farther from our experience; it felt like we were on a fun, playful date with someone there just capturing the moments. The Photos: Insane. Stunning. We can't get over them. As a hobbyist photographer myself, I'm honestly amazed by her obvious talent and artistic vision/style. Even her gallery delivery (the order/layout/design of the delivered photos) was clearly intentional and aesthetic. There are SO. MANY. great photos that we're honestly having a hard time picking which to use for wedding materials- which is an amazing problem to have!! I truly feel like she captured our love and spirit in these.

I'm Paris, a California wedding photographer creating timeless, editorial imagery for couples who value authenticity and refined storytelling. Inspired by fashion and film, I blend elegant portraits with genuine moments, capturing every celebration with intention and care. My approach is calm, personalized, and unobtrusive, allowing you to stay fully present while I preserve the details, emotions, and atmosphere that make your wedding uniquely yours.

We had the most incredible experience working with Paris. From the very beginning, she was thoughtful, organized, and so well prepared. On the wedding day, she came with the most beautiful flat lay styling pieces, and it made all of our detail photos feel so elevated, elegant, and intentional. What stood out the most was how she made us feel in front of the camera. She gave us clear direction, helped us with posing, and somehow made everything feel natural instead of awkward. She also brought such calming, positive energy throughout the day. Weddings can feel overwhelming, but she made us feel taken care of, confident, and genuinely excited during the photo process. Our guests were also so impressed watching her work. Several of our friends literally came up to us immediately after seeing her photograph us and asked for her contact information. A few of them are planning their own weddings and said they wanted to book her right away after seeing how comfortable and beautiful she made us look. We are so happy we chose her. She is not only talented, but also detail-oriented, warm, prepared, and amazing at making couples feel their best. We would recommend her in a heartbeat.

He blended into our day seamlessly, putting everyone at ease and finding those candid, emotional moments we didn’t even know were happening. His calm professionalism kept us relaxed, yet his creativity meant every shot felt fresh and personal - nothing cookie‑cutter here. We received our photos exactly when promised (within 10 days!), beautifully edited and ready to share. Friends and family still rave about how natural the images look, and we love that he surprised us with short highlight video clips as a bonus. If you want someone who truly listens, communicates clearly, and turns your wedding day into timeless art, book Andy - you’ll be so glad you did.

I recently moved to US from Sweden and offering a good deal for the session to build up networking. I am mostly focused in wedding and engagement photography that captures the joy, emotion, and candid moments of your big day. My goal is to document your story in images that feel natural, heartfelt, and beautiful - without stress or forced poses.

We absolutely love our photos! Karina made us feel so at ease during the shoot it fully felt like a hangout with a friend. We had so much fun and I couldn't recommend Karina enough. Thank you so much!

Hi, it's nice to meet you! I am Eszter, Wedding and Portrait Photographer, located in San Francisco Bay Area. Fueled by equal parts of hot chocolate with whipped cream and passion, I spend my days capturing images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. Life is beautiful, just like your story and your love and I can’t wait to capture it in images you will treasure for years.

There aren't enough nice things I can say about Eszter! She's one of the sweetest and most down to earth photographers in the industry. She's also extremely talented and absolutely loves what she does. Eszter has the ability to put her clients at ease which is extremely important in this line of work, as we all know how stressful weddings can be. You won't regret working with Eszter!
