An incredibly talented photographer with a genuine passion for her craft! We hired Eve for both our engagement photoshoot and our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice! From the very beginning, she was incredibly sweet, communicative, punctual, and professional. What initially drew us to her was her photography style—fresh, intimate, vibrant, and wonderfully candid. Having now worked with her twice, I can confidently say that her work is every bit as beautiful as her portfolio! Eve has an incredible eye for capturing authentic moments. Whether it was the emotions during our proposal, spontaneous laughter, guests' reactions during our wedding, or those fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed, she captured them so naturally. Her understanding of lighting, colors, and composition is equally impressive. From our wedding rings and decorations to our portraits, every photograph felt thoughtfully composed without losing its natural charm. What makes Eve particularly special is how invested she is in her clients' experience, even beyond photography. We had a backyard wedding shortly after moving into our new home, and she offered invaluable advice while we were still planning the space. From positioning the ceremony and guest seating based on sunlight to recommending a cozy café-inspired ambiance with string lights, avoiding harsh stage lighting, and planning photography around sunset, her suggestions were incredibly thoughtful. We incorporated them, and everything came together beautifully! She's also wonderful at directing photographs. During our group shots, she confidently encouraged guests to loosen up and try fun, unconventional poses, resulting in some fantastic pictures! I particularly appreciated her assertiveness when needed, balanced with her ability to quietly capture candid moments. She's approachable and receptive to feedback, and I'd love to see her continue exploring new creative styles and embracing the unique visions her clients bring. Her turnaround time was another pleasant surprise! We received our photographs in roughly 8–12 business days, which is remarkably quick considering the quality she delivers. She's also approachable about requests for additional photographs you might feel are missing. Her pricing is incredibly reasonable, and she didn't even charge us extra for traveling over 30 miles for our outdoor engagement shoot. That generosity, combined with her dedication, speaks volumes. Above all, photography clearly isn't just a mechanical job for Eve. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and genuine love for what she does shine through in every interaction and every photograph. Bride: I had a great time working with Eve from Swallow Tales. I provided some inspo pictures just to set the vibe and she did so well. I trusted her artistic approach and it totally paid off. I knew after our first session, our engagement photos, that I made the correct choice with choosing her. I am not typically comfortable in front of a camera, but she made it a space where I could just do my thing. She captured some very special moments at my wedding as well. Eve was an absolute professional—thoughtful, kind, and attentive from our first consultation through final delivery. When a technical issue muted the audio on our vow exchange video, she impressed us even more: she proactively disclosed the problem, offered a partial refund without us asking, and collaborated with us to source replacement audio from guest footage.
