The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. A week later, he was invited to co-DJ at one of his friends’ wedding reception and rest is the history.

Kelton has a great system for figuring out your taste, priorities, and run of show. He set up very quickly at our venue, which was key given we were running on a tight schedule, and he managed to produce nice sound in a very cavernous space (no idea how!). He kept us running on time and made all transitions seamless. His music perfectly matched the vibe we wanted, starting with a relaxed cocktail hour and dinner, and gradually increasing the tempo into a full-scale dance party as the night went on. And our friends and family had an absolute blast! He had everyone from 20 somethings to family in their 60s and 70s dancing until the very end! “When my husband and I started our wedding planning journey, we wanted to find a DJ that would be able to play music form both my culture (Haitian) and my husbands (Puerto Rican). During my search, his business popped up on IG. I went through his IG profile and knew he was the one I wanted. I sent his profile to my husband and he sold. What also sold us was all the extra services he had! Everything all in one place. In all I booked the sparklers, smoke machine, 360 Photo Booth, an Emcee, and gobo lights. My first dance, OMG.
