Lucy Black Entertainment is a women and musician-owned, bespoke luxury events company based in the Washington, D.C. area, and available worldwide. With over 20 years of experience, we specialize in live and virtual entertainment for weddings, social, and corporate events. We own and manage several in-house acts, including Lucy Black Luxe, Lucy Black House Band, Lucy Black Electric, DC String Machine, and a variety of instrumental combos. With a full in-house production team, we can cover all sound, lighting, and video needs. In addition, we have a network of partner bands, DJs, dancers, acrobats, and much more!

Our boutique operation allows us to focus on creating a high-touch, personalized client experience. From contract to execution, we are your team, assisting with planning calls, meetings, and site visits. We offer a custom approach - listening to your overall needs and vision, to curate entertainment that is tailored to fit your specific event.

    Great Experience with DJ Miggl!

    From our first conversation, Lucy Black Entertainment made the whole planning process smooth and straightforward. They answered our questions quickly and gave us solid guidance on timing and music choices without making us feel rushed. On the wedding day, their team kept everything moving at just the right pace—our guests actually commented on how well the evening flowed, which we hadn't expected to hear. The music selection felt fun, personal and thoughtful - the dancefloor was filled with people the entire night. Their professionalism behind the scenes meant we could just enjoy our day instead of worrying about logistics. We'd absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a band and DJ that actually cares about making your wedding feel special - especially recommend DJ Miggl - he was awesome!!

    Amazing experience - DJ Tezrah is the BEST!

    We had a wonderful time working with Lucy Black Entertainment. They were very accommodating as we kept making changes to our music preferences. We worked with DJ Tezrah, who kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. So many people complicated us on having amazing music - and it was all Tezrah! We really appreciated how easy it was to communicate with the staff. They also had a bunch of suggestions when we were struggling to figure out how to move forward with various music ideas, and that really helped us flesh out our own vision. I would definitely recommend working with them!
