I bought my first 35mm film camera at a flea market when I was in high school. With that old Pentax K1000, I took my first film photos and learned how to transfer what I saw through the lens into a frozen moment captured in a photo. From the start, I've always kept my focus on people. I love to capture someone laughing, or the way parents engage in the wondrous curiosity of their kids, or simply someone just looking back at me. Photography isn't just something I do, it's an extension of the way I see the world.
