We're Jamie & Zoey! We met in 2016 in art school when Zoey asked Jamie to be her partner for a project. We quickly became close friends and the rest is history... In the summer of 2023 we joined forces again, working together to capture you and your love story! Jamie's photography journey started back in high school with a love for film photography before heading to art school where she majored in photography. After graduating in 2020, she began photographing weddings for larger studios before starting her own studio. In 2023, Zoey left her 9-5 and joined the studio full-time focusing on both photo and video creation.
As a wife-and-wife team with backgrounds in Fine Art, we feel lucky to work alongside our best friend every day doing what we love. That connection shines through in the way we collaborate—allowing us to seamlessly capture every beautiful moment of your day. Endless thanks, Jamie!!
I cannot say enough how lucky it is that I stumbled across Jamie on Facebook in the leadup to our wedding. In addition to being communicative and easy to work with in the preparations, Jamie (as well as our second shooter, Kelyn) was nothing short of exceptional day of. Her quietly encouraging, professional as well as friendly, and kind demeanor was exactly what we needed on our wedding day. Not to mention how easy and joyful both photographers made it feel working around an all-day rain storm and the last-minute adjustments that came with it. As a queer couple, it was especially comforting and exciting to work with an LGBTQ photography team. Multiple friends and family have already shared how much they liked both members of the team, plus the photos we have so far are phenomenal. We only have the previews right now (our wedding was just a few days ago), but we love them so much, and they made us SO excited to see the rest! You will not regret going with Jamie or the rest of the team. Thank you all for documenting our special day with such care!!

The best last-minute decision we made!
I truly cannot say enough good things about Jamie Stow Photography. We found Jamie at the VERY last minute after my cousin posted in the PhilaQueens Facebook group looking for a photographer for our wedding — which was only about a week away. I reached out to Jamie, explained our unusual timeline and that neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken before, and from the very beginning she was incredibly kind, flexible and helpful. I initially thought we only needed 1–2 hours of coverage because I genuinely had no idea what we needed. Jamie took the time to look over our wedding-day timeline, helped us figure out how to make the most of our time, suggested when to do our first look and family photos, and made sure we had enough coverage so that nothing felt rushed. I was also very upfront that my husband had given me a pretty firm budget to work with, and Jamie was incredibly accommodating and worked with us to come up with something that fit what we needed and what we were comfortable spending. On the wedding day, Jamie was AMAZING. We told her right away that we had absolutely no idea how to pose and were giving her full creative control, and I’m so glad we did. She directed us through everything, found different areas around the property for photos, gave us little instructions that made such a difference, and somehow made two people who aren’t used to being photographed feel completely comfortable. What impressed me even more was how effortlessly they handled our families. Both my husband and I have separated parents with significant others, siblings, a four-month-old daughter, and a whole wedding party that we were constantly moving in and out of photos. Jamie somehow remembered EVERYONE’S names and relationships almost immediately. She was directing people by name, remembering who belonged with which side of the family, swapping parents and siblings in and out, and keeping everything moving without it ever feeling chaotic. I genuinely don’t know how she did it!! And then we got our entire edited gallery only 13 DAYS after our wedding!! The gallery itself was beautifully organized into sections for our first look/couple photos, getting ready, family & wedding party, and ceremony. Most importantly, we absolutely LOVE our pictures. Jamie captured our day so beautifully, and looking through them genuinely brings us right back to it. To think we almost didn’t hire a professional photographer at all and then somehow found Jamie about a week before our wedding feels incredibly lucky. She went above and beyond from the moment I messaged her until the end of our wedding day. I would recommend Jamie without hesitation, and I’m already hoping we can find an excuse to book her again for family or holiday photos. Thank you, Jamie, for giving us these memories forever. We are so grateful we found you!
