My name is Chris, I'm a documentary wedding and elopement photographer based in Rhode Island. I first started photographing weddings 12 years ago and throughout that time, I've also worn many different hats as a photographer, from touring with bands across North America and Europe to shooting travel stories for global publications in some of the wildest places. I have a journalistic style that aims to capture photographs in an accurate, honest, and timeless way. I would be thrilled to work together, if you're interested, please reach out at chrismongeauphoto [at gmail dot com] for more info!

Awarded Best of Zola
Take it from us - having Chris photograph our engagement, micro wedding, and vow renewal/celebration was a no brainer. We got married during the pandemic, so between planning, pivoting and rescheduling, he was very accommodating and easy to work with. He's quiet and friendly, seamlessly blending in with the crowd, which helps him to get the best candid shots of all of your loved ones. We never worried about Chris getting footage of every moment because we fully trusted him to do so. He captures every detail so beautifully as if he's telling a story. Can't thank him enough for carefully documenting the best days of our lives!

I’m a lively wedding photographer who creates vibrant and bold pictures. I'm based in Rhode Island, but travel all around New England photographing the weddings of fun-loving and creative couples. I'm a soccer-chauffer, a teenager piggy-bank, and a local foodie with my husband.

Jamie Corbman Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Providence, RI
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500

My introduction to photography came when I was five years old, and my parents bought me a plastic Fischer-Price 110 camera. I dragged it everywhere. I moved on from taking pictures of the family dog to photojournalism for the school newspaper. In high school, I learned classical darkroom technique. I have earned a Bachelor's of the Arts from the George Washington University, a Master's of the Arts from the University of East Anglia in the UK, and I further studied photography at the Rhode Island School of Design. My current approach to wedding photography builds upon my background in fashion photography and photojournalism.

From our first meeting with Jamie and Corbman Photography, we knew we had found the perfect photographer for our wedding day. His communication style was friendly, easy, clear, and professional, putting us at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of his work was truly polished, careful, beautiful, creative, and artistic - he captured the magic of our special day with such care and skill. Jamie and was incredibly helpful in suggesting locations. We had a small wedding with 55 guests, and Jamie made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. He kept the timeline so that everything flowed smoothly. The photos on the beach with the ocean views, the fun group shots with our friends, and the stunning sunset photos are just a few examples of the incredible work he did. We are thrilled with the beautiful, candid moments he was able to capture that make us look and feel our best. We highly recommend Jamie Corbman Photography to any couple looking for a talented, personable, and professional photographer to document their wedding day.

We are Trophy Wives Co. Passionate artists who capture your special day in a beautiful and FUN experience. I am Gaby, the founder. I’m a third-generation creative. My father is a retired wedding photographer with 20+ years of perfecting his craft. He learned through my grandfather, who photographed precious moments in Guatemala for as long as I could remember. Creating runs through my bloodline. I am fortunate to have been exposed to the industry at such a young age. I love what I do!!

We could not be happier with our photo and video team. From our engagement session through our wedding day, they were professional, talented, and a pleasure to work with. They made us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera every step of the way. They captured our black-and-white, elegant, timeless vision beautifully, preserving every important moment and detail in a way that feels natural and cinematic. Ryan DeVoll Photography
Rating: 5.0 (46 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Providence, RI

I’ve spent a decade documenting love stories all over New England. I’m not here to turn your wedding into a production, or pose you like mannequins. I’m here for the drunk hugs, the ugly cries, the chaos, and the quiet minutes where you finally catch your breath. For you to look back generations from now and recall exactly how you felt in that moment.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had a pretty nontraditional wedding and came to Ryan DeVoll with a similarly nontraditional vision for capturing the day. We didn’t want a lot of portraits or a long shot list, but someone to document our day with our favorite people. Ryan completely understood what we were going for and delivered beyond anything we imagined. After several planning conversations leading up to the wedding, we were confident photography was something we didn’t need to worry about — and the results speak for themselves. Ryan captured the pure joy that we (and our guests) felt throughout the day. Ryan was an awesome presence all day: professional and organized with great vision for locations, but easygoing, never intrusive, and somehow always in the right place at the right time. Also, genuinely funny — we honestly wish we’d had more time together! The photos feel cinematic and alive. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the day; we can hear the music, the words, the laughter. People who see them say, “Oh, you had exactly the wedding you wanted!” Ryan nailed it. If you’re looking for someone who can combine artistry with authenticity and tell your story in a way that feels truly you, we couldn’t recommend Ryan more.

When searching for a photographer, I was overwhelmed by the number of options available. Dominique didn’t make me feel pressured. She provided us with her wedding guide, which gave us insight into who she is. When we met remotely, I instantly knew she was the one. She was enthusiastic, listened attentively, and asked us questions about what is important to us leading up to the wedding and beyond. She was great to work with, and I knew what to expect. She drafted our timeline, offered recommendations, and helped us design it based on what was important to my husband and me. She curated a family shot list, and let me tell you, she did not disappoint. Her and her team were amazing.

Hi there! My name is Madison and I am a wedding photographer based in the beautiful seaside town of Newport, Rhode Island. Although I call Newport home, I provide my services to couples throughout the greater New England area and am always willing to travel worldwide for my clients' special days. I have always been passionate about capturing life's most special moments through my camera lens, and there's nothing quite like the magic of a wedding day. I consider it an honor and privilege to document the love story of each unique couple I work with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the pleasure of working with Madison this past summer for a wedding I was the florist for. As another vendor, I can't express how impressed I was with Maddie's demeanor for the day. She was such a joy to be around - she managed to be laid back yet kept the ball moving with the couples timeline. She found all the best lighting and scoped out all of the best backdrops for the couple and the end result was absolutely flawless! As a florist, I was blown away when she sent me the full album and had captured so many floral shots. I would love to work with Madison again in the future and would recommend her to all couples looking for a genuine, intuitive, talented and heartfelt photographer.

Hi, I’m Nicole (she/her) - a Rhode Island-based wedding photographer. Nicole was one of the best vendors we worked with. She knows the business and is super friendly, funny, and casual - like our friend was taking our photos. She drove all the way to our home in Maine to do our complimentary engagement photos. The photos are glowing and speak for themselves.

Hello! I'm Lynne Damiano and I am so excited to connect with you! The moments I love to capture are genuine and simple, and preserve what is happening in the moment. I have a photojournalistic style and edit true to life with vibrant color. I capture the best moments in an unobtrusive way. A few more of my favorite things are hiking with our crazy rescue dogs, traveling with my family, making art with my daughter, and doing anything near or on the ocean (hence my business name!) I look forward to connecting with you and creating memories that you can reflect on for years to come.

Awarded Best of Zola
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lynne. Not only were her photos SO beautiful and perfect, but she was a joy to work with . She was organized, professional, and so kind. We hadn’t planned on taking engagement photos but used it as an opportunity to meet her and get comfortable in front of the camera. Our engagement photos were so fun! Lynne made us laugh and brought out such a natural joy in each of the photos. The communication leading up to the wedding was clear and organized. She shared a timeline and checklist, met with us via zoom, and checked in to ensure everyone was on the same page. It brought a lot of ease knowing that she was organized and ready to go. On the wedding day, Lynne was incredible. She led with direction but was kind and flexible. She was professional and fun and added so much to our day. Our families mentioned after the fact how nice and sweet she was. Everyone felt comfortable and had so much fun. We allocated about an hour for first look, family, and couples pictures before the ceremony. It ran smoothly and never felt rushed or chaotic (nor did it feel repetitive or like it dragged on). And of course, the photos themselves are stunning. She captured the mood perfectly. She was SO quick to share sneak peaks and kept them coming. We haven’t even seen the full package and I am obsessed already. I couldn’t wait to write a review. From our festive, fall engagement photos to our moody, dark winter wedding, Lynne matched the vibe to a tee. I would recommend her for any and all of your photo needs!

Mallory’s Gallery
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)

  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Providence, RI

Hi! I am a Rhode Island Wedding Photographer with a passion for capturing candid images that tell the story of your big day. I believe that every photograph has it's own distinct narrative, and my goal is to unveil these stories with every image. I thrive on getting to know my clients so I can implement their vision to its highest potential, ensuring a comfortable and collaborative environment, and delivering results that exceed expectations. This experience is all about YOU! I just get the pleasure of being along for the ride.

Awarded Best of Zola
One of the best decisions we made was hiring Mallory. We are "so-so" with the camera (not entirely shy but also "what do I do with my hands"- kind of people). Mallory was awesome to show some styles that she was thinking of and looked at some inspiration photos that we picked out (this was done way before engagement shoot and before our wedding day). She made our engagement session super relaxed and fun - her ability to capture "moments" of our relationship left us in awe. She would let us do our thing and then gently guide/direct us, which was exactly what we needed (some guidance with no "stiff" or "don't move" photos). Fast forward to wedding planning, we shared a brief list of "mandatory family photos" and she created a timeline (with our wedding coordinator's timeline) and we gave her full reign on creativity! Again, she excelled! She captured some beautiful moments and looking back - we could FEEL and remember those moments she captured. We are forever in awe of her talent and ability to capture our day. During our wedding day, we unfortunately had a nor'easter come through (some would say good luck) - so lots of rain. Mallory was beyond prepared. She brought us umbrellas (I had also gotten some) and she was quick to make changes as needed. We received SO many compliments on Mallory's work and how well she worked with our other vendors. Additionally, I appreciate that she never "stopped" our day - as in, interrupt what was happening to get a particular photo. Rather, she flowed with our wedding planner and found opportunities to capture literally so many beautiful moments! I'm so happy we trusted her because she saw things that we couldn't and we are forever grateful for that. I cannot recommend her enough!! She gained clients for life :)

Highly recommend Bayless Photography! The entire Bayless Photography team was a pleasure to work with and we are so happy with how our wedding photos came out. Crissy was always so kind, organized, and professional to work when planning the wedding. We were pleased to have our photos back only a few weeks after the wedding. We wish we could add more pictures to the review to show off all the amazing pictures! Lisa and Amanda were our photographers the day of and they were both very sweet, creative and flexible. We felt very comfortable working with them. They gave direction when needed, helped us get every photo on our wish list while also captured lots of great candid moments. Despite a last minute change in plans for first look, family photos and our ceremony due to heavy rain, they helped find new locations and the photos came out better than we could have expected. Hello! I'm Brenden, and my passion for photography began with a film camera from my Aunt in Japan. I spent nearly a decade in fashion photography, capturing style and elegance before transitioning to weddings. This vibrant field allows me to meet amazing people and capture their unique stories. Featured in magazines and awarded in Hong Kong, I continuously strive to enhance my skills. As a father of six, I cherish photography's power to connect us with our past. At Luminist Photography, I'm dedicated to capturing your love story with creativity and care.

Awarded Best of Zola
Choosing the right wedding photographer is a big decision. You want someone who can not only capture the stunning details and magical moments, but also someone who you feel comfortable with and who understands your vision. We hit the jackpot with Brenden! We first had the pleasure of working with Brenden at our engagement shoot, and we knew right away that he was something special. He's not just a talented photographer with an eye for light and composition; he's also a genuinely warm and kind person who puts you at ease instantly. He took the time to get to know us as a couple, understand what we were hoping for in our wedding photos, and offered suggestions we hadn't even considered. On the wedding day, Brenden was a calming presence amidst the whirlwind of emotions. He expertly navigated the chaos, capturing everything from the moments of beautiful bride getting ready (which I of course didn't get to see) to the raucous dance floor without ever being intrusive. He even managed to wrangle our (sometimes camera-shy) family and friends into some truly heartwarming shots. But the real magic happened when we saw the final photos. Brenden's talent is undeniable. He somehow managed to capture the raw emotion, the unadulterated joy, and the tiny, precious details that made our wedding day so perfect. We laughed, we cried, and we relived every moment all over again through his lens. Brenden isn't just a photographer; he's a storyteller. He tells the story of your love, your commitment, and the sheer joy of celebrating with the people you love most. He's the kind of photographer who becomes part of the celebration, someone you'll remember fondly long after the cake is eaten and the dancing shoes are hung up. If you're looking for a wedding photographer who will not only deliver stunning photos but also create an unforgettable experience, look no further than Brenden. He's more than just a vendor; he's an investment in memories that will last a lifetime.

As someone who is not very photogenic, I was nervous about being photographed, but I loved every single photo they captured of our family and me and my husband. I'm Kim Lyn, a girlboss photographer that loves romance and natural light. I think your photos deserve to be as amazing as your story. If I'm not behind a camera you may find me curled up with a book, sprawled out on the couch binging on crime or romance shows, and eating (basically anything deep fried, spicy, soupy, or chocolate covered). I have a slight addiction with Coca Cola + Mountain Dew...they are my version of coffee. I adore laughing and will dance no matter where I am. Give me the sun, sand, and coast and you'll make me a happy girl.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kim and her husband Shiloh were incredible. Don’t even hesitate, book them right now!!! You won’t regret it!!! Their photos are absolutely stunning, I sometimes can’t believe the photos are of my wedding and not out of a magazine. They were both so kind and warm and so helpful with direction and posing for photos. We felt immediately comfortable with them and they helped us feel at ease in front of the camera. Kim was so aware of how to be helpful even outside of the role of taking photos, helping with everything from timeline recommendations to how to pin my veil on when it flew off before our first look. And an unexpected perk was how well Shiloh fit in with my husband and his groomsmen during their “getting ready” photos. He really did a fantastic job of making the guys comfortable and capturing great photos, especially for a group of guys not accustomed to formal photos together. During the planning process Kim was also very communicative and helped us set realistic expectations for what would be doable re: our photo list, and they still somehow managed to get every shot we wanted, even the ones we thought we would have to rule out because we didn’t think we would have time. They managed all of this without the day feeling rushed or like we were incessantly being photographed. I honestly don’t feel like I saw them outside of the formal portraits, they just somehow managed to capture everything and everyone so beautifully while still being totally discrete. The wedding day truly goes by in a blur, so we are so grateful to have so many photos of every last little detail to help us remember it. They also had incredible turn around time—we got sneak peeks within a few days and all of our photos back within a month of the wedding. One of the most touching notes for me was that a family member passed away a few days before the wedding, and Kim and Shiloh gave us a thoughtful bereavement card. Just incredibly thoughtful, kind, and very skilled photographers. They were so flexible and reasonable to work with, so personable, capable of corralling our massive family for group shots, very comfortable working alongside our videographer and working as a team to capture our wedding day…I could go on and on. We are SO thrilled with their work and booking them was one of the best decisions for our wedding without a doubt. If you are lucky enough that they are available for your wedding book them ASAP!

I found myself photographing weddings 5 years ago. Before that I was into documentary and travel photography. I traveled the world doing it. My passion for love stories began after a friend asked me to photograph their wedding. It was the most intimate experience for me, the deep connection and the responsibility I was granted by my friend felt nothing but honorable. After that I decided to give it a go. Fast forward, today my style is candid and non-obtrusive and of course I work with posing and I’m really good at giving people directions. My passion is to observe my subjects and capture them in a very natural, honest and uncontrived way.

Awarded Best of Zola
Marilia Lima Photography was a wonderful choice for our wedding photographer. Marilia was clear, organized, and professional in their communication with us throughout the entire process. Their work is meaningful, intentional and one of a kind. We selected them for their style which is natural, candid, and dreamy. Marilia was present and patient with Patrick, me and our families throughout the whole day, helping to capture the day with ease and grace. It was end of June and a little drizzly and Marilia embraced this and was able to capture some truly stunning detail shots in the rain. We did not do a first look so we did all our pictures after the ceremony and it never felt rushed; we were very at peace and were even able to make it to the cocktail hour. We were grateful for this. Marilia offers film as part of their standard packages, and I would highly recommend including this - one of my favorite shots so far is one they got of us under my veil on film. I highly recommend Marilia Lima Photography for your wedding day. Adding a few of the shots we got back on film below.

Weddings for me are such a perfect setting for a photographer. No two are ever alike regardless of setting or season, the variables are endless. This creates a never-ending challenge with which to grow as a visual storyteller. All while being surrounded by people experiencing the best day of their life, I can't imagine having a better job

From the moment we reached out to Trevor Holden Photography, they were incredibly responsive and helpful. We had our engagement session in NYC and it was so perfect despite the cold weather. Trevor had never shot at the spots we chose but he knew exactly where to get the best lighting and backgrounds. We were obsessed with our engagement photos are are equally as obsessed with our wedding photos! Leading up to the wedding, he listened closely to our preferences and on the wedding day he captured all the special moments in a personalized, artistic way. The photos were absolutely stunning - we're thrilled with the quality and how they perfectly reflect the joy and love of our special day. Trevor pulled us at all of the right times to capture different lightings and we got every single picture we could have dreamed of. We highly recommend him to any couple getting married. We hope to work with him again for more of life's special moments!

No matter your size, race, gender, sexual orientation or religion, we're here to hype you up as you share all your wildest wedding ideas with us!

How do we even begin to explain how much we love Rhode Tripper Photography? If you’re reading this while considering booking them for your wedding - FULL STOP, JUST DO IT. Meaghan and Evan are two of the most lovely people we have met. Once we had our wedding date, they were the first vendor that we booked for our big day. From the very first meeting, we felt completely at ease talking to them about our vision, our budget, and what we wanted the day to feel like. They are super well connected in the wedding industry, and had lots of recommendations for other vendors when we felt overwhelmed. Initially we opted to skip an engagement shoot, but ended up reaching out to book one so that we’d have a little practice posing. It felt right for us as it gave us a chance to meet Meaghan and Evan and see how we felt behind the camera. They made us feel comfortable right from the start, and while we initially booked it just for practice, we were stunned by how beautiful the photographs came out. We knew immediately we’d made the right choice in booking Rhode Tripper Photography and ended up extending our wedding day coverage. We just couldn’t get enough of their gorgeous style and eye for detail. Leading up to the wedding, Meaghan and Evan were available for all of our questions and planning details. Meaghan ended up assembling a wedding timeline that even our event planners were blown away by. You can tell she knows what she’s doing (spoiler - the timeline was perfect down to the minute). On the day of the wedding, we felt completely relaxed and honestly just giddy to be around Meaghan and Evan. They brought such a fun and light energy to our day and blended in seamlessly with our friends and family. When we needed a leader in the chaos, they were there to make announcements and call people to step up for photos and stay on track. When we were on the dance floor, they blended in like they were lifelong friends dancing with all of us. When pollen from my flowers stained my dress, Meaghan had a Shout wipe ready - and did you know that Shout wipes work way better on a wedding dress than a Tide pen? MEAGHAN KNEW. We could truly go on forever about how much we love Rhode Tripper Photography, but we’ll let their gorgeous photos speak for themselves. We were delighted to get a stack of beautiful Polaroids at the end of the night, a stunning sneak peek the next day, and we can’t wait to see the way they captured the rest of the day. We’ll be gushing about them forever to everyone we know!!

My name is Annie - I am a lifestyle and wedding photographer based out of Rhode Island. I live in the smallest town, in the smallest state with my extra large dog, Kingston. I document life’s big and little moments. Creating images that make you feel like you could step into them.
