Hi! We're John and Jamie Kalwood, a husband wife duo who love to capture life and love at all stages. We believe everyone deserves to feel beautiful and cherished, and we hope to make that a reality through our photos. No matter what your love story is, we'd be honored to capture it.

Although we officially launched Kalwood Photography in 2022, we’ve each been behind the camera since our teenage years—and we’ve been shooting together as a team since 2018. John brings the goofy, fun-loving energy that helps you relax, come out of your shell, and genuinely enjoy the experience. Jamie has a sharp eye for detail, making sure we capture the angles and lighting that showcase you at your absolute best.

    Amazing Experience

    We setup a family photo shoot through Kalwood Photography. The whole experience was nothing but pleasant. Not knowing exactly what we wanted they came up with amazing ideas to get beautiful shots. They knew the perfect time of day to capture what we wanted. “The Golden Hour” They made it simple and were very accommodating on scheduling. Highly recommend for any type of photo opportunity!

    1st Bday Festivities

    Kalwood Photography was the perfect choice for our son's 1st birthday party. Their communication style was very straightforward, which we appreciated as it made the entire process smooth and easy.     Jamie and John of Kalwood Photography are amazing communicators! They provided quick and fast responses throughout the entire wedding planning process. They have a wonderful balance of expertise and whimsy that produces amazing photos. It's very clear they care a lot about their craft and their client's comfort!! They were even able to incorporate our cranky old man cat into the photos, making him feel so special. As someone who is not very photogenic, I was nervous about being photographed, but I loved every single photo they captured of our family and me and my husband. Kalwood Photography is great at accommodating special requests - even when it comes to cranky old cats!
