Hi! We're John and Jamie Kalwood, a husband wife duo who love to capture life and love at all stages. We believe everyone deserves to feel beautiful and cherished, and we hope to make that a reality through our photos. No matter what your love story is, we'd be honored to capture it.

Although we officially launched Kalwood Photography in 2022, we’ve each been behind the camera since our teenage years—and we’ve been shooting together as a team since 2018. John brings the goofy, fun-loving energy that helps you relax, come out of your shell, and genuinely enjoy the experience. Jamie has a sharp eye for detail, making sure we capture the angles and lighting that showcase you at your absolute best.

Jamie and John are a wonderful couple to work with. We hired them to do our engagement photos and loved the experience and the final photos so much we hired them to shoot our wedding as well. Even our guests let us know how great they were. 10/10 would recommend!

You can find the minimum amount of edited pictures that we guarantee based on which package you choose.

Yes, all final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. We also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.

Typically, couples book us about 12-13 months before their wedding date. We encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about our availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

No, not usually. We are a husband wife duo, so you will have two photographers covering your big day. In the event one, or both, of us is sick or unavailable, we will find a back-up.

In the very rare event that both of us are unable to photograph your wedding, we’ll make sure you’re covered by one of our colleagues or a contracted assistant. We’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups we're in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
