    Lovely Valentine Review

    We cannot recommend Emilie and her team enough! From the very beginning, she was incredibly professional, organized, responsive, and genuinely wonderful to work with. Before the wedding, she answered all of my emails so quickly, helped us curate the perfect shot list, and gave us so many helpful recommendations on photo locations, timing, and how to make the day flow smoothly. On the wedding day itself, she was absolutely amazing. She made us feel so comfortable, kept everything stress-free, and truly helped make the day feel special. She captured every moment so beautifully, and we are completely obsessed with both our photos and videos. Our highlight video especially exceeded all expectations — we have watched it so many times already! We have received endless compliments on our wedding photos and video, and we are so grateful we chose Emilie. We would recommend her team to absolutely anyone looking for a talented, kind, and professional wedding photographer/videographer!

    Highly recommend Lovely Valentine!

    We loved working with Emilie! She was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with, made the whole process stress-free, and delivered our photos so quickly. She was so helpful in deciding where & when to do the first look, family pictures, bridal party pictures, etc to make sure we stayed on schedule. The pictures (and our wedding album!) came out absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!

    Gorgeous wedding photos

    We were lucky enough to have Lovely Valentine for our wedding and they were incredible. Emilie was very responsive leading up to the event and was so easy to work with on the day of the wedding, especially for a couple who doesn't love being the center of attention. The whole team worked well together and was both receptive to ideas we wanted to incorporate as well as gave us fun ideas to try. We're so happy we will always have these photos to look back on to remember our wedding day!

Their incredible work on social media initially impressed me, and our stunning engagement photos only heightened our excitement for the wedding. Our venue had a darker ambiance, so it was crucial to have a photo/video team proficient in using their own lighting and off-camera flashes. They perfectly captured the beauty and emotion of our day, ensuring our photos were not dark, over-edited, or yellow. Despite it being a new venue for them, they embraced the challenge and absolutely mastered it. I've received over 100 teaser photos, and I'm in love with every single one – I can't even pick a favorite! I'm eagerly awaiting the full gallery, our wedding album, and the videos. Most of my couples book me anywhere from 2 years to 6 months out from their wedding date. The average is 1 year from the date.
Definitely. All final images will be straightened/cropped and edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also edit for blemish removal, teeth whitening and removal of distracting elements when necessary.
Yes! We offer video to capture all the elements of the wedding day in a cinematic style. Final delivery includes a highlight film as well as a full documentary cut showing the full versions of the ceremony, dances and speeches.
We always try to get you teaser photos within 1 week of the wedding date. The rest of the photos take about 4-6 weeks to be edited. They are delivered via a private online gallery where you can download the high resolution images and print wherever you like!
You can expect anywhere from 50 to 100 images per hour of shooting, depending on if you have a package with 1 or 2 photographers. This estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. For our base Arlington package with 2 photographers and 8 hours of coverage, we generally deliver around 800 images.
We do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Unless your wedding is very intimate, we always shoot with 2 photographers. There is one lead photographer (usually Emilie) and then a second photographer who helps get that second angle during critical times. We love working as a team!
In the very rare event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement that matches with the style you've always envisioned. All photos would still be edited in the same style that you love when you hired us.
