Lindsey was absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end of the process! We learned about Lindsey through our friends, and as soon as we saw their photos, we knew we wanted to work with her. Lindsey is incredibly thoughtful and creative - in just a couple of conversations, she perfectly captured our energy and helped immensely with talking through planning, timeline, and design details to make sure our wedding looked and felt true to us. She was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, which really helped to decrease planning stress. Working with her at our engagement shoot and on our wedding day was such a joy, she did an amazing job making us feel calm, comfortable, and present while still providing that little amount of direction to make sure the photos were gorgeous. And they were perfect! Julian also worked with us on our wedding day, and also did an amazing job providing thoughtful direction and encouragement to get us incredible photos. The photos have the warm, romantic quality that led us to Lindsey in the first place. We will treasure these photos forever, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose Lindsey to take them! Hands down the best Boston wedding photographer you could imagine!

Danielle Littles Photography

Boston, MA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,899
  • Offer

Hi, I’m Danielle (Or You Can Call MeDanie)— And creating photo magic from your once-in-a-lifetime moments is my calling What started as a love for capturing family moments turned into a passion for weddings. When the pandemic hit, I found myself drawn to the intimate beauty of micro-weddings. It was during these heartfelt ceremonies that I realized my true passion lay in capturing the essence of love and commitment. Unlike my own wedding experience, where I felt disconnected from my photographer, I’ll strive to build a genuine relationship with you, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process.

Awarded Best of Zola
Choosing Danielle Littles Photography was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our very first conversation, she just got it. I came to her with ideas, inspiration, and a general vibe I wanted, and she immediately took everything and ran with it in the most creative, thoughtful way. She has such a natural eye for composition and storytelling that I felt completely confident putting our memories in her hands. One of the things I appreciated most about Danielle is how comfortable she makes everyone feel. She’s warm, friendly, and genuinely fun to be around, but she’s also not afraid to step in and give clear direction when needed—because let’s be honest, most of us don’t know what to do with our hands in photos. She struck that perfect balance of keeping things relaxed while making sure everyone looked amazing. Even the people in our group who normally hate having their photo taken ended up talking about how great she was. Danielle was incredibly communicative during the entire planning process. She checked in, asked thoughtful questions, clarified timelines, and made sure we were all on the same page well before the big day. She arrived right on time with everything organized, calm, and ready to go—exactly what you want in a wedding vendor. She also shot our engagement photos, and those were equally stunning. The consistency in her quality is unreal. And the turnaround time? Absolutely incredible. I’m used to hearing that wedding photos can take months, but Danielle delivered ours so quickly that even one of my friends who works in the wedding industry commented on how impressed she was. Looking back at our photos, I’m struck by how beautifully she captured not just the big moments, but the small, emotional ones—the glances, the smiles, the gestures that made the day feel like us. I genuinely started wondering how I could plan another event just to have her photograph it. If you want a photographer who cares deeply about her work, listens to your vision, elevates it, and makes the entire experience fun and stress-free, you cannot go wrong with Danielle Littles Photography. She is a true talent and such a joy to work with.

We chose to work with Aaron because he brings something different to the table. He doesn’t just capture the usual wedding photos of family members uncomfortably standing arm to arm with painfully forced smiles on. Instead, he carefully finds beautiful geometries in the buildings or light poking through a forgotten window. His photos are thoughtful, well-planned, and artistic. His subject and backgrounds blend together in a perfect unity that captures special moments in ways you didn’t think were possible. Aaron is incredibly easy to work with and will keep you laughing throughout the day. You won’t regret working with him.

I'm Alyssa, a Boston based wedding photographer who shoots all over Maine, Rhode Island, The Hudson Valley and New York City. I feel so lucky to photograph weddings. It’s an honor to be invited into the quiet, behind-the-scenes moments that make the day so personal—those shared just with family and the closest friends. We were fortunate enough to work with Alyssa for both our small elopement ceremony and our wedding reception party. Two very different visions and she beyond crushed both. Our pictures are more than I could have hoped for. Beyond being thrilled with her vision and talent, she made everyone in our life comfortable and was the best director ever. I am not an expert, but her talent with flash photography and eye for color is amazing. I cannot wait to find excuses to work with Alyssa in the future!

My husband and I worked with Sasha for our wedding in August 2024. We found her while searching on social media and are SO happy we did! I was instantly taken aback by her photos on her instagram and website. Her usage of light is just stunning! And working with her on our big day was a dream! Sasha was so calming and supportive. Our day was so hot and humid, but Sasha worked so hard with a smile. Truly, spending time with her was a highlight of our day. It felt like being with a good friend. We hope to work with her again one day! Now to talk our photos! The images were everything we wanted. Sasha did the perfect job capturing the day and looking back at the photos is literally like relieving our wedding day. From the details, to the smiles and laughter and happy tears, Sasha was there. From our first messages, Sasha was so communicative and respectful and timely. She has such a light about her and it shows in work. I would 100% recommend her.

Steve Nisotel Photography

5.0

Boston, MA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

I think there’s a real absence of authenticity in today’s world. Everywhere we look, people are polishing themselves into a perfect image for the internet. But that’s not where the beauty is. The beauty lives in the real moments — the big, loud, messy, emotional, human ones you can’t stage or script. That’s what I chase. Since 2016, I’ve been documenting weddings for couples who want to feel present, relaxed, and fully themselves. I gravitate toward the candid, the unplanned, the way a glance turns into laughter and a quiet moment becomes unforgettable.

Awarded Best of Zola
Steve was incredible to work with from start to finish! We had a very low-key and DIY elopement and he got us instantly. His manner in initial calls was warm and eager to learn about what we wanted and who we were as a couple, ongoing planning with him was always super clear, and on the day of he made us feel completely at-ease. His eye is incredible, and he not only managed to get very natural shots while working around every possible jogger on the esplanade but also was an absolute joy to work with.

My name is Nathan Dykgraaf. I’m a photographer based in Orlando, FL, and I’ve been working professionally for over nine years. My work focuses on capturing photographs with a vibrant, true-to-life style. I specialize in candid, spur of the moment photography. No matter the occasion, my goal is to keep things authentic and true to life so you can always remember those moments in the best light.

Nathan did our court wedding photos, and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. We had a big group with us, which can be a lot to manage, but he was incredibly patient and made sure everyone looked great in the shots. Despite the limitations of a courthouse setting, he came in with creative ideas that really made the photos stand out. He’s a perfectionist in the best way—very detail-oriented, professional, and easy to communicate with. He walked us through everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the whole shoot. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting it right, and it shows in the final pictures. Highly recommend!

As an avid traveller, and photographer for the better part of a decade, I am constantly in awe of the human existence, and how we connect. As a wedding photographer, I aim to capture your wedding moments as they unfold. For me, the beautiful part about weddings is the celebration of life, love, unscripted moments (and all that comes with it). In all of the happy tears, big laughs and tight hugs. It is my wish to not only see these beautiful memories in photographs, but truly see the people in them.

Finding a photographer was one of our top priorities when we initially started looking for wedding vendors and we cannot sing Abigail's praises enough. After months of research, we ended up choosing Abigail for her professionalism, warmth and artistic eye and it was one of the best decisions we made. She is extremely talented and did an incredible job capturing portraits and candid moments during our Korean Paebek and our wedding ceremony. Every single person we have shown our gallery to raves about the pictures and I have already referred Abigail to a number of other engaged couples. Gina Brocker Photography

5.0

Boston, MA
  • Photojournalistic style

When I was a kid growing up in Michigan, I was always fooling around with my mom’s old manual cameras and capturing everything my friends and I did. I took traditional art classes in high school, but even then, I was merely creating paintings of the photos I had taken. I went on to study documentary photography at the Maryland Institute of Art and abroad at the University of Wales, where I won the Nikon Discovery Award Grand Prize and was named one of the 25 Under 25 Up-and-Coming American Photographers. When a friend asked me to assist at a wedding she was photographing, and my plans changed in an instant.

Where do we even begin!? I feel so lucky that we found Gina. From the minute that we met her, we knew we wanted to work with her. Beyond being in love with her past work, she was kind and patient and warm and genuine -- she expressed just as much excitement about planning for our wedding as we did. She went above and beyond to answer our questions and was always offering to help in any way she could, even beyond photography-related things! She really took the time to get to know us and to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We first met with Gina about 10 months before our actual wedding, but from there on out, she made a constant effort to check in all throughout our planning process and was incredibly helpful when it came time to planning our day-of timeline. She never hesitated to offer her expertise and always made time for us! She always made me, and my family, feel like a priority and I was so appreciative of that. Nothing like a little good luck rain on your wedding day, and in our case, it was torrential downpours! This threw a bit of wrench in our outdoor photo plans, but Gina jumped right in to help seamlessly transition our whole wedding party to our rain plan and made sure that we still got all the photos that we wanted. She braved the weather with us, sloshed around in the rain, ran in and out of neighborhood bars and never missed a beat -- all to make sure we got all the best pictures. I already knew this, of course, but so many of our friends and family members made a point to tell me how wonderful Gina was to have around us that day -- she captured the quiet moments and you didn't even know she was there, and then she jumped in to help keep everyone organized and on time through lots of pictures on a tight schedule, and still made sure everyone had fun! Our wedding photos came out better than I could have ever expected. She has an amazing way of capturing the magic of the moments -- big and small -- and every day when I look back through all the pictures, I get to re-live it all. She truly captured every emotion so beautifully -- all the laughs and tears and excitement and love. While the night went by way too fast, we're so lucky to have all of these beautiful photos to look back at forever and can't begin to thank Gina enough for making that possible. She's the best!!

Jesse Wang Photography

Boston, MA

On your wedding day, you can count on me to be a calming presence ready to adapt. I’ll capture the day candidly, letting moments unfold naturally without too much interference. At the same time, I'm always ready to give a little push or guidance in the right direction for poses and creating moments.

Jesse was beyond exceptional. He worked our wedding in June 2023. It was important for us to find a photographer familiar with Chinese Tea Ceremonies and Catholic Weddings. And we did! From the beginning, Jesse helped with preparing the timeline and keeping us on schedule on our wedding day. He was so calm and encouraging during the day. A very reassuring person while we were running around. During the wedding, he was not intrusive; we barely noticed him and his colleague were there. Yet, they were personable, polite, friendly, and even our family commented on how lovely they were. When looking back at the photos, we feel we are reliving the emotions and love from the day. Even our wedding planning friend was impressed. We have a lot of candid poses mixed with formal portraits. He also has the patience of a saint, given the multiple photography demands from our family. If done all over, we would choose Jesse again. He is talented, professional, and has a wonderful personality.

From Boston with love, we are writing our endeavor with you. Inspired by the art of moving and still images, we have always been passionate about Wedding photography and videography. Vinh & Sabrina - husband and wife duo

Awarded Best of Zola
We are beyond thrilled with the incredible work that Vinh and Sabrina did for our wedding! From our first meeting, this talented husband-and-wife team made us feel comfortable and excited about capturing our special day. Vinh’s photography skills are simply outstanding. He has a remarkable ability to capture candid moments while also guiding us for posed shots, making everything feel natural and fun. Every photo tells a beautiful story, and we’ve received countless compliments on the stunning images. Sabrina, our videographer, was equally amazing. She has an incredible eye for detail and a talent for capturing emotions in motion. The cinematic highlight film she created for us was breathtaking, and perfectly summarizing our day. We are very reserved and introverted people and were very nervous from the beginning on how the photos and video will turn out - to our surprise we looked amazing in them! Don't be afraid to put your trust in Vinh and Sabrina, they know what they are doing! What truly set Vinh and Sabrina apart was their accommodating nature and willingness to help us with our wedding timeline. They worked closely with us to ensure everything flowed seamlessly, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Their professionalism and dedication were evident throughout the planning process and on the day itself. As a couple, Vinh and Sabrina have a beautiful synergy that shines through in their work. Their teamwork and passion for their craft made our experience all the more special. We couldn’t have asked for better people to document our wedding day! We wholeheartedly recommend Vinh and Sabrina to any couple looking for a fantastic photography and videography team. They truly made our day unforgettable! I'm not a stand-in-the-corner photographer. I love being welcomed in as part of the family. Most of all, I want to you be comfortable with me at your wedding so you can just enjoy your day. It’s just one less thing to worry about knowing that you have a friend there to capture all of the candid, emotional, hysterical and real moments that will happen throughout your day.

When we got engaged and planned a winter wedding we knew we wanted a photographer who would be able to capture the romance of the season through light and color. The galleries on the Whiting Photography website did just that! Stephen has an incredible way of making photos feel personal regardless of whether you know the couple/family or not. When we got to meet Stephen through Zoom my husband and I both agreed that he would not only do a great job capturing the love and happiness we share, but also be an awesome person to hangout with on the most important day of our lives. We weren’t able to do an engagement session with him, but got to meet in person a year before our wedding and scope out picture locations. Our first impressions from Zoom were absolutely correct. Stephen was professional, talented, and friendly. We knew he would get along great with our family and friends. Throughout our engagement Stephen was communicative and helpful with all things photo and even recommended other vendors. He is someone whose opinion we trust and would go to him for his thoughts and ideas, such as “What is it like when the bride walks down the aisle alone?“ On the day of our wedding Stephen arrived and got right to work! He stayed out of the way of hair and makeup, capturing detail shots while we finished final touches. During such a chaotic morning this was majorly appreciated. I truly believe that the wedding party fed off of his calm and supportive mood making the afternoon a breeze. The additional treats that Whiting Photography offers, such as the heirloom albums and The Zebra Booth are really what set him apart from other photographers. Being able to get the photo booth pictures the same night as our wedding was great. It gave us something to look at the next day and our guests loved it! They also commented on how much they loved Stephen, but duh. Not even two days later Stephen sent us a HUGE sneak peek which had us in tears. The love, light & romance we hired Stephen for was absolutely captured and then some. We cannot wait to get together to create our album, and hopefully schedule family shoots in the future.

I'm a people photographer, an individual not a company. This is a second career for me. My photography experience goes back all my adult life—it’s a love, a passion, my craft and art. I’ve been selling photos for six years, working full-time as a professional photographer for four, and photographing weddings for three. I’ve shot more than 65 weddings, from small and intimate ceremonies to large, lively celebrations.

Doug is an incredible wedding photographer in the Boston area, and we could not recommend him more highly to capture your special day. A few reasons we were so happy to work with Doug: 1. He is an exceptionally talented photographer. Doug documented all the moments we were hoping for, as well as many beautiful candid shots of us and our guests. Even with tricky weather (rainy day) and last-minute schedule changes (e.g., some family members not coming on time for group photos), he stayed calm and adaptable and delivered a wonderful set of photos that truly captured the emotions of the day. 2. He is skilled at working with people. During our couple and family / friend group portraits he provided just enough guidance to help us feel comfortable without anything feeling staged. This made us feel like we used the time together effectively, while making the photos feel natural and joyful. 3. He is comfortable navigating different cultural and religious contexts. Doug had experience shooting a Catholic wedding, which was tremendously helpful for us, and he was very respectful of our requests (for example, no photography of guests receiving the Eucharist). We also told him about small modifications to the ceremony reflecting South Indian traditions, and he made sure to capture those beautifully. 4. He is a great communicator. Doug was easy to reach via text and email and consistently quick to respond to our questions before and after the wedding. His website clearly explains his photography philosophy, which made us confident from the start that he was the right fit. 5. His pricing is extremely fair. We were planning a low-key wedding on a budget in the Boston area, and Doug’s pricing made it possible for us to capture our day without overspending, while still receiving high-quality, professional photos. We are so grateful we chose Doug and would enthusiastically recommend him to any couple looking for a thoughtful, skilled, and reliable wedding photographer. I have attached a few of our favorite photos from the day in a compressed format (given Zola restrictions).

We hired Kayla Rice Photography as our wedding photographer and we are so happy we did, her work is outstanding. Kayla has a journalistic style of photography so she captures those special moments, peoples expressions and their reactions. The photos from that day show the love and emotions of me, my husband and our family and close friends. Kayla is very kind and polite and has a very calming, professional way about her work on what can be a stressful day for some couples. And she put us to ease as we are not typically comfortable in front of a camera. The photos are fantastic and looking at them Kayla captured the love and happiness shared by all in attendance. We highly recommend Kayla Rice Photography!

Hi! I'm Chrissy. I've been lucky enough to photograph weddings and meet tons of awesome couples since 2014. I'm based in Boston, MA but I'm always more than happy to travel anywhere your adventure takes you. My work has brought me as far as Tokyo and I'm so ready to explore more new places! In my down time I love to surf, paint, go to concerts, and watch horror movies. I'm full of useless astrology facts and I always have extra snacks with me.

Chrissy is an absolutely amazing photographer. I’ve followed her work for years and knew as soon as we got engaged that Chrissy would be our photographer. During the process I stressed to Chrissy I just didn’t want the same traditional boring poses/portraits for either our engagement photos or wedding photos and she delivered! Granted, there were some exceptions for family photos of course, but overall exactly what we wanted. Chrissy made us feel extremely comfortable and I trusted her judgement on everything. She is easy to work with and really goes above and beyond to make sure that your day goes smoothly. Thank you so much for everything! You really helped capture the love and happiness on our wedding day!
