Robert was an absolute pleasure to work with on our wedding day. From our first interaction, he was very clear and professional. Taking our engagement photos, he was very kind and patient, even when I was very nervous. On our wedding day, he was steady and patient throughout the bumps of the day, helping me stay calm when I felt like we were running behind schedule. He even assisted all the groomsmen with their boutonnières, and helped the groom with his studs (which neither of us realized were even missing). The quality of his work was exceptional, and he captured so many special moments, including my 93 year old grandfather tearing up the dance floor. It is a picture I will treasure forever. We look forward to working with him again in the future. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day.

She moves with the energy of a celebration, balancing instinct with subtle direction to create images that feel bold yet deeply personal. Lindsey is located in Boston and NYC, but she is always happy to travel to where your story is best told. (US & International)

Awarded Best of Zola
Where do I even begin?! Lindsey came highly recommended from a friend in the industry and honestly was such a support from the start of wedding planning. She provided vendor recommendations, talked through various ideas, and was so excited to help our vision come to life. Also, Lindsey provides so many helpful organizational tools that really helped us feel more prepared for the wedding day. On the day of, Lindsey and Jullian made everything feel effortless and went above and beyond. Family photos went so quickly because they were so organized and they made sure to get photos of all the details we were so proud of. When people talk about our wedding, one of the first things they mention is the photographers. The groomsmen will regularly talk about how Jullian saved the day with wardrobe mishaps; he also saved me from my wardrobe issues too! When my bridal jewelry was overwhelmingly tangled, all it took was handing the necklace to Jullian and it was taken care of. Once we all started dancing, Lindsey was on the dance floor, dancing with us and jumping up in the air to catch the perfect action shots. Honestly, having Lindsey and Jullian at the wedding felt like having two guests that also happened to be wedding planners, photographers, and the life of the party all rolled into one. I had more than a few guests at the end asking how I found such a cool duo and honestly I think it’s all pure luck.

Weifan is incredible! We asked him to take our engagement pictures and those were perfect, so we asked him to take pictures from our elopement and the reception a few months after. They do such an amazing job. I'm so happy with the results that I've already made a book with my favorites. I really can't say enough good things about Weifan and his team. They really take the time to know the couple and I felt like Weifan wasn't taking taking generic pictures, but pictures that highlighted us and our love. He really does capture the magic of our love.

Steve Nisotel Photography
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
Boston, MA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

I think there’s a real absence of authenticity in today’s world. Everywhere we look, people are polishing themselves into a perfect image for the internet. But that’s not where the beauty is. The beauty lives in the real moments — the big, loud, messy, emotional, human ones you can’t stage or script. That’s what I chase. Since 2016, I’ve been documenting weddings for couples who want to feel present, relaxed, and fully themselves. I gravitate toward the candid, the unplanned, the way a glance turns into laughter and a quiet moment becomes unforgettable.

Awarded Best of Zola
Steve has been excellent and so so fun to work with! I was specifically looking for a photographer who could capture the feeling in candidate, and Steve delivered (see wedding and engagement photos below)! Steve is super communicative, friendly, organized, professional, and a genuinely kind person. If you’re looking for a photographer, I strongly recommend reaching out to Steve — you won’t be disappointed!

Gabby Torres Photography
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
Boston, MA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,800

My name is Gabby and I am a LGBTQ+ travel wedding photographer based in Boston. I'm dedicated to preserving the nostalgia of your special day whether in New England or worldwide. My directing approach is to seamlessly guide you by posing through movement and letting you be yourself. If this is what you’re looking for, then I'd love to chat more!

Working with Gabby was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. When we look through our photos, we not only see things that resemble and remind us of our wedding day, but can feel exactly what our wedding FELT like. She uses light, movement, and captures every bit of emotion. Every single image is more beautiful than the next. Somehow Gabby made you feel like she was everywhere all at once and also nowhere at all. She fits in SO seamlessly, but notices everything. A quiet hand squeeze from my mom, a tearful laugh, Gabby captured it all. Beyond her talent, Gabby is an incredible person. She is warm, easygoing, and (I believe) can make absolutely anyone feel comfortable in front of a camera. She is kind and detailed. She is observant and absurdly talented. I'd recommend her to anybody and would rate her even more stars if I could. Thank you, thank you, thank you Gabby. You make remembering our day fun.

As an avid traveller, and photographer for the better part of a decade, I am constantly in awe of the human existence, and how we connect. As a wedding photographer, I aim to capture your wedding moments as they unfold. Finding a photographer was one of our top priorities when we initially started looking for wedding vendors and we cannot sing Abigail's praises enough. After months of research, we ended up choosing Abigail for her professionalism, warmth and artistic eye and it was one of the best decisions we made. She is extremely talented and did an incredible job capturing portraits and candid moments during our Korean Paebek and our wedding ceremony. Every single person we have shown our gallery to raves about the pictures and I have already referred Abigail to a number of other engaged couples. She was sincerely a joy to work with, made me and my husband feel at ease and captured absolutely stunning photographs that we will cherish for decades to come.

Gina Brocker Photography
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Boston, MA
  • Photojournalistic style

When I was a kid growing up in Michigan, I was always fooling around with my mom’s old manual cameras and capturing everything my friends and I did. I took traditional art classes in high school, but even then, I was merely creating paintings of the photos I had taken. I went on to study documentary photography at the Maryland Institute of Art and abroad at the University of Wales, where I won the Nikon Discovery Award Grand Prize and was named one of the 25 Under 25 Up-and-Coming American Photographers. When a friend asked me to assist at a wedding she was photographing, and my plans changed in an instant.

Where do we even begin!? I feel so lucky that we found Gina. From the minute that we met her, we knew we wanted to work with her. Beyond being in love with her past work, she was kind and patient and warm and genuine -- she expressed just as much excitement about planning for our wedding as we did. She went above and beyond to answer our questions and was always offering to help in any way she could, even beyond photography-related things! She really took the time to get to know us and to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. We first met with Gina about 10 months before our actual wedding, but from there on out, she made a constant effort to check in all throughout our planning process and was incredibly helpful when it came time to planning our day-of timeline. She never hesitated to offer her expertise and always made time for us! She always made me, and my family, feel like a priority and I was so appreciative of that. Nothing like a little good luck rain on your wedding day, and in our case, it was torrential downpours! This threw a bit of wrench in our outdoor photo plans, but Gina jumped right in to help seamlessly transition our whole wedding party to our rain plan and made sure that we still got all the photos that we wanted. She braved the weather with us, sloshed around in the rain, ran in and out of neighborhood bars and never missed a beat -- all to make sure we got all the best pictures. I already knew this, of course, but so many of our friends and family members made a point to tell me how wonderful Gina was to have around us that day -- she captured the quiet moments and you didn't even know she was there, and then she jumped in to help keep everyone organized and on time through lots of pictures on a tight schedule, and still made sure everyone had fun! Our wedding photos came out better than I could have ever expected. She has an amazing way of capturing the magic of the moments -- big and small -- and every day when I look back through all the pictures, I get to re-live it all. She truly captured every emotion so beautifully -- all the laughs and tears and excitement and love. While the night went by way too fast, we're so lucky to have all of these beautiful photos to look back at forever and can't begin to thank Gina enough for making that possible. She's the best!!

Jesse Wang Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Boston, MA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500

On your wedding day, you can count on me to be a calming presence ready to adapt. I’ll capture the day candidly, letting moments unfold naturally without too much interference. At the same time, I'm always ready to give a little push or guidance in the right direction for poses and creating moments.

Jesse was beyond exceptional. He worked our wedding in June 2023. It was important for us to find a photographer familiar with Chinese Tea Ceremonies and Catholic Weddings. And we did! From the beginning, Jesse helped with preparing the timeline and keeping us on schedule on our wedding day. He was so calm and encouraging during the day. A very reassuring person while we were running around. During the wedding, he was not intrusive; we barely noticed him and his colleague were there. Yet, they were personable, polite, friendly, and even our family commented on how lovely they were. When looking back at the photos, we feel we are reliving the emotions and love from the day. Even our wedding planning friend was impressed. We have a lot of candid poses mixed with formal portraits. He also has the patience of a saint, given the multiple photography demands from our family. If done all over, we would choose Jesse again. He is talented, professional, and has a wonderful personality.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are beyond thrilled with the incredible work that Vinh and Sabrina did for our wedding! From our first meeting, this talented husband-and-wife team made us feel comfortable and excited about capturing our special day. Vinh’s photography skills are simply outstanding. He has a remarkable ability to capture candid moments while also guiding us for posed shots, making everything feel natural and fun. Every photo tells a beautiful story, and we’ve received countless compliments on the stunning images. Sabrina, our videographer, was equally amazing. She has an incredible eye for detail and a talent for capturing emotions in motion. The cinematic highlight film she created for us was breathtaking, and perfectly summarizing our day. We are very reserved and introverted people and were very nervous from the beginning on how the photos and video will turn out - to our surprise we looked amazing in them! Don't be afraid to put your trust in Vinh and Sabrina, they know what they are doing! What truly set Vinh and Sabrina apart was their accommodating nature and willingness to help us with our wedding timeline. They worked closely with us to ensure everything flowed seamlessly, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Their professionalism and dedication were evident throughout the planning process and on the day itself. As a couple, Vinh and Sabrina have a beautiful synergy that shines through in their work. Their teamwork and passion for their craft made our experience all the more special. We couldn’t have asked for better people to document our wedding day! We wholeheartedly recommend Vinh and Sabrina to any couple looking for a fantastic photography and videography team. They truly made our day unforgettable! Lastly, the turnaround time was incredibly quick compared to the wait times I have seen from other friend's weddings.

Whiting Photography

I'm not a stand-in-the-corner photographer. I love being welcomed in as part of the family. Most of all, I want to you be comfortable with me at your wedding so you can just enjoy your day. It’s just one less thing to worry about knowing that you have a friend there to capture all of the candid, emotional, hysterical and real moments that will happen throughout your day.

When we got engaged and planned a winter wedding we knew we wanted a photographer who would be able to capture the romance of the season through light and color. The galleries on the Whiting Photography website did just that! Stephen has an incredible way of making photos feel personal regardless of whether you know the couple/family or not. When we got to meet Stephen through Zoom my husband and I both agreed that he would not only do a great job capturing the love and happiness we share, but also be an awesome person to hangout with on the most important day of our lives. We weren’t able to do an engagement session with him, but got to meet in person a year before our wedding and scope out picture locations. Our first impressions from Zoom were absolutely correct. Stephen was professional, talented, and friendly. We knew he would get along great with our family and friends. Throughout our engagement Stephen was communicative and helpful with all things photo and even recommended other vendors. He is someone whose opinion we trust and would go to him for his thoughts and ideas, such as “What is it like when the bride walks down the aisle alone?“ On the day of our wedding Stephen arrived and got right to work! He stayed out of the way of hair and makeup, capturing detail shots while we finished final touches. During such a chaotic morning this was majorly appreciated. I truly believe that the wedding party fed off of his calm and supportive mood making the afternoon a breeze. The additional treats that Whiting Photography offers, such as the heirloom albums and The Zebra Booth are really what set him apart from other photographers. Being able to get the photo booth pictures the same night as our wedding was great. It gave us something to look at the next day and our guests loved it! They also commented on how much they loved Stephen, but duh. Not even two days later Stephen sent us a HUGE sneak peek which had us in tears. The love, light & romance we hired Stephen for was absolutely captured and then some. We cannot wait to get together to create our album, and hopefully schedule family shoots in the future.

Hearts of Sage is the best out there. Your wedding photography is truly in the best hands! From the start, JaQuelia was easily accessible. She is fun, warm, conscientious, and professional in her communication and her craft. When our plans changed suddenly, she was flexible and integral to helping us reshape our expectations. Our wedding was small and intimate—JaQuelia captured it perfectly with originality and warmth. She brought out the love and energy in all who attended and captured the honest essence of our love story. JaQuelia loves her craft and puts her whole heart into it. We had the absolute best experience with Hearts of Sage and highly recommend them to capture life’s precious moments.

Hi! I'm Kayla, owner and lead photographer at Kayla Rice Photography. I’m a Boston based documentary wedding photographer. I am a trained photojournalist who discovered a passion for capturing love in all its forms. I started my business with the goal of creating an experience for those who might be looking for something more authentic and unposed.

Kayla Rice photographed our wedding in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her documentary style was exactly what we hoped for. Nothing looked posed, yet every image was composed perfectly. She captured the real action and emotion of the day without ever feeling intrusive. We’ve gone back to the photos many times since, and each time they bring the day back in vivid detail. As someone who values authenticity and precision, I appreciate how Kayla delivered both. We’re very glad we chose her for our wedding.
