The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). “Shawn did an awesome job! He did the music for our wedding ceremony, the music for the reception, provided uplighting, and the photobooth. My now husband and I enjoyed working with Shawn. He is funny, easy going, and patient. His questionnaire is very detailed and is very helpful for pulling the music together for the day. He also was very focused on making sure my now husband and I heard what we wanted to hear for the music. During the ceremony, Shawn timed the music perfectly. We saw later watching videos that he even cut the microphone out for my brother, the officiant of the wedding, when my brother almost started talking over parents walking down the aisle. Thanks for that, Shawn! Later in the night, we had other challenges with our timeline due to longer than expected speeches, too many tables to say hi to, and my own indecisiveness. Shawn handled all these obstacles very smoothly, kept an eye on the crowd and helped us stay in tune with when we needed to get the dance floor going. He played the songs we requested and helped us out with choosing songs for younger people. Since the wedding went by so quickly, I think the thing I am most grateful for is all the photos and videos he took of the night. The day was a bit of a blur and Shawn let us relive the night by sending us tons of photos and videos of everyone dancing. Thank you for that, Shawn!”

“Soundz Amazing was so great for us to work with at our wedding reception! We got married in 2021 but due to covid we did not have any of our friends and family with us to celebrate. When we were able to have our reception in 2022 we worked with Mike and he was so responsive. Our reception was very non-traditional as we did not do any type of ceremony, first dances, wedding party, or formalities that are typically associated with weddings. Mike was so flexible and worked with us to create the exact atmosphere that we hoped for. In the weeks leading up to the ceremony Mike met with us multiple times and asked us questions that we hadn't even thought to consider. He was so helpful throughout every step and definitely decreased the amount of stress we were feeling. We had guests request songs through the RSVP feature on Zola and then sent them over before the ceremony, and Mike made sure to play all of them, and used our own personal requests to set the tone for the night. We were nervous about having a DJ that wouldn't take our preferences into consideration but that was not the case at all, I absolutely recommend Soundz Amazing DJ Services for your events!”

On the wedding day, Nathan helped make sure everything ran smoothly, coordinating with other vendors and our friends and family to make sure everyone had what they needed from before the ceremony through the end of the night. He knew we wanted to do our first dance and toasts outside during cocktail hour, right before sunset, so he made sure to check in with us to get the timing just right, and it was magical! During dinner, we had curated a playlist of first dance songs from our guests, and he helped create so many special moments by encouraging folks to get up and dance when they heard their song, and stayed flexible when we were ready to get dancing started. The reception was an absolute blast and my dream dance floor. The end of the night was perfection with several "last songs" and getting to soak it all in in a circle of our favorite people.
