“Tanya was great!! We first learned about her from a party our wedding planner threw and I knew right after that, Tanya would be the perfect person to help bring some color and pop into our wedding. The initial call with Tanya was educational. She is so knowledgeable about the flowers she works with and allowed me to look up the florals she was talking about to see if it would be something I would like. At the end of the call, she let me know that she would put a vision board together to send over for me. She let me know that might take a couple of days; it didn't. Within 24 hours she had it to me to review. That type of customer service is hard to find, but it is so appreciated! Throughout the planning process, Tanya kept in contact to see if I wanted to stick with the original plan, or change certain elements. There were times I had questions and Tanya answered them with lightening speed. As always, she was professional, knowledgeable, and educational. For our wedding, we went with bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, wine barrel arraignments, and flowers for bud vases. Tanya was not able to make it to our event, but she had her mother take her place and communicated this with us and also our wedding planner so we knew exactly what would be happening. Every arraignment was stunning and our flowers stayed alive for a week after our event so that we could continue to enjoy them. Overall, Tanya is fantastic and the florals she using are stunning. We are so happy we decided to go with her for our big day!”

“Cory did a phenomenal job arranging all of our florals for our July wedding. We had a very specific vision for the colors, types of flowers, and foliage for a grounded floral arch, cascading bouquet, and bud vases for our reception tables. Leading up to the wedding, Cory was incredibly communicative; calling us to discuss different ideas for our grounded floral arch, the seasonal availability of certain plants, and making sure that everything was just the way we wanted it. In our planning, she invited us to tour her gardens and greenhouse, where it was clear that she has a deep personal care for the quality of her work and her relationships with clients. “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“If I could do my wedding all over again, I would just so that I can re-live how amazing my flowers were at my wedding!!! I was introduced to Karina from Dean Street Daisies by a colleague at work after I mentioned to him how anxious I was about my flowers for the wedding. I emailed Karina, and in less than 24 hours she scheduled a consultation meeting with me and had been nothing but a delight to work with since then. We bonded on the fact that we are both architects, so I knew how responsible, detail oriented, and design focused she would be. I was not too sure what I wanted in the beginning, so during our consultation, she helped guide me through specific questions about my vision, what colors I'm attracted to, what type of flowers I typically like, etc. Her consultation helped me do a more thorough research, so after I sent her a general moodboard, Karina quickly built and shared with me a design presentation along with a detailed cost analysis that was perfectly within my budget. Karina was honest and upfront from the beginning about how much things would cost, and helped me find the right balance of number of arrangements/ types of flowers that would be around my budget and still fit my vision. And let me tell you... I went from not prioritizing flowers on my wedding day, to the flowers becoming the most important feature of the day! They were absolutely MAGICAL. “Wedding May 2025, Beardslee Castle, Photos by Erin Covey Creative There's so many wonderful things to say, I hope I can cover them all. Hanna and Elle are outstanding florists and wonderful people to work with. My vision of flowers was was "pretty and lavender" and they took that and ran with it. My ceremony was originally meant to be outside but as the day got closer and the weather turned, Hanna made sure to be in touch with me and easily adjusted to doing the ceremony inside. Walking into the venue and seeing their work was incredible. The ceremony area was beautiful, the bud vases on the tables and along the mantels were so pretty and so perfect, me and my guests absolutely loved every detail. Hanna delivered the flowers to Beardslee, spent the afternoon setting up, and made sure to see me to give me and the bridesmaids our bouquets (which were STUNNING). “I had the most beautiful bouquet for my City Hall civil ceremony, but no firm plans for the bouquet post-wedding. My florist friend shared Jackie's contact information with me and I contacted her to see if she had the capacity for a last-minute bouquet preservation. Luckily, she had availability and a few hours later, I was taking an impromptu day trip to Cold Spring with my husband. Jackie met us at the station and was so incredibly kind. Throughout both bouquet preservations, Jackie was very responsive and answered any questions I had. She shared a layout of both bouquets prior to framing and packaged up both frames nicely, with bags, (this is a big deal when you're taking the train) when we returned to Cold Spring for pickup.
