“Erica is AMAZING!!! From our very first consultation call with her, my fiancé and I knew she was the best choice for our engagement shoot and wedding. We laughed and chatted and felt comfortable right off the bat. I have been told that you end up being around your wedding photographer more than almost anyone else on your wedding day - so it's super important you feel comfortable around them, so I was thrilled to feel like I have known her for years just over a Zoom call! Then, she managed to fit us in her schedule last minute, and drive over 3 hours to us in the Greater Boston area to shoot at the Arnold Arboretum! Talk about going above and beyond!!!! She frolicked around the park in the cold with us, LITERALLY climbing in and out of bushes and trees to get these gorgeous shots. You couldn't tell by the photos... but I was super duper nervous going into the shoot. I’m not a huge fan of my picture being taken… and the thought a professional camera made me feel extremely anxious. But Erica was so kind, and calm, and made me laugh and feel comfortable literally immediately!!! My fiancé and I are sooooo awkward too, but she expertly posed us in many different ways that make us look like pros LOL! A day that I had so much anxiety for… ended up being such a blast for both of us, truly. JUST THE SHOOT IN ITSELF will be a wonderful memory we will cherish forever. And then she got us the photos in record time, I couldn't believe it! So fast!!! And to no surprise, they were all incredible. It's so hard to choose a favorite, I have like 10 haha. More than that though, she captured how the night felt. The photos weren't overly posy, but rather showed off how much fun and excitement there was for the entire night. I think one of the best things I can say about Kathryn is that she really made a point of figuring out HOW we wanted her to photograph the wedding and delivered. As I wrote above, we wanted the photographs to look great, but mostly just capture how the wedding felt and she delivered on that 100%. Also, as much as she made sure we were leading all the decision making, she really knew her stuff and took things off of our plate where we could. We knew how we wanted the photos to look generally, but neither of us are photographers. So we talked to her about style and vibe and she really took it from there. Hey! I'm Nina. I'm a pretty energetic and charismatic person that loves love and enjoys life. Documenting through photo is my favorite thing on this planet. I've been a professional photographer since 2016 but really I've been invested in photography since I was 15 years old. My love for documenting moments came from a desire to capture my own life and that of my friends using disposable cameras, flip phone cameras and point and shoot digital cameras on beach trips with friends. “Short story long. We got married in September 2025 on a bright and somewhat cloudy day in a Historic Lodge in Hudson Valley. Nina was our ONLY photographer that day. I don't know too much about photography, but I do know that on our wedding day the lighting in the building and the grounds was varied and difficult to navigate. I highlight this because the photos that Nina captured and edited were BEYOND SPECTACULAR. Aside from being extremely talented, she was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the day.
