We hired Laura and Co. for our wedding, and we’d do it all over again. We chose a package for photo, video, and day of coordination. Our photos? Framed and displayed all over the house within hours of receiving them. The videos? Watched as often as you read your child a bedtime story. The day of? Amazing, lovely, smooth as a babies butt. We had bumps throughout planning and they were quickly resolved, we had bumps the day of, and we were able to sit back and laugh about it because we knew we were in good hands. This was the first wedding within both of our families in over ten years so we had lots of questions and i always knew i could lean on Laura and Co. to answer! As we are now almost two months after our big day we still chat and laugh about the big day. We worked with Gina for a little over a year in our planning process and she was consistently on her game and just a pleasure to have in our lives. Gina made sure we were staying on task getting things done so we never felt overwhelmed. She took the pressure off by helping to narrow down vendors, setting up appointments, giving recs and just cut down on the hundreds of hours of research this would've taken on our own to do. She was clearly known and trusted by other vendors in the community and they all raved about working with her. When it came time for the wedding itself, Gina knocked it out of the park. She also brought Alexis as a day of coordinator to help who was fantastic to work with. Alexis made sure our rehearsal went off so smoothly and efficiently and was a reliable second set of hands on the wedding day. Throughout our time together, Gina made sure to get to know us as a couple, what made us comfortable, what our vibe was and that was so clear on our big day. Rain caused us to have a last minute change of our ceremony from outside to inside and she helped all the vendors to flip the space in record time. She decided what questions needed to come to me and which ones I didn't need to be bothered with because it would unnecessarily stress me out. As a bride, this was so important. We told Gina we wanted our wedding to be a giant dance party start to finish and her creative ideas and timeline helped us deliver just that. Gina went above and beyond, helping one of my bridesmaid's fix her hair at the last minute, finding us the most unique props for our dance floor (hello robot dinosaurs!) and even helped us to quietly remove a guest from the party who had had too much. Gina is THAT GIRL that every couple should have by their side at the wedding. She is so versatile, working with couples with a variety of tastes and styles and can fit in with any group. Our friends and family were all raving about her and we want to have another wedding, just to work with her again!

Tahimy was so amazing. We hired her last minute when unfortunately we found out that our venue didn’t come with a day-of-coordinator when we thought it did. So we ended up having to look for one a month and a half before our wedding day. Tahimy stepped in and became more of a month-of-coordinator for us and really took so much stress off of our shoulders. She helped with big things like booking our servers and a coffee caterer. She coordinated with all of our venders and made sure everything would run smooth. She set time aside to answer any questions even late at night when I didn’t expect her to respond until the morning she would text me back. On the day of there was zero stress on me and she worked hard to make sure that if there were any hiccups, I didn’t even notice. Working with Jorge for our wedding was a dream come true. We had met with other wedding planners and there was no one else like him. What makes them special is that they have their own array of chairs, tables, linens, cups, and everything else you can think of!! There was no need to outsource other vendors. You can go see them for yourself and see their inventory. They are not just wedding planners. They are the WHOLE PACKAGE. You definitely get your moneys worth while still being able to realize your dreams. A friend of ours recommended them to us since they had personally used them for their own wedding a couple years back. And we’re so glad they did. Jorge and Ismael made us feel at ease during our wedding planning process. Hiring Ohana and working with Sonya was easily the best decision we made while wedding planning. I was hesitant to hire an outside coordinator because we had a venue coordinator, but the venue coordinator does not do nearly the amount that Ohana does. Hiring Ohana is a NEED. I was first introduced to Danielle and we instantly connected. I felt she understood my vision and wanted to help create our dream wedding. We were lucky enough to be assigned to Sonya for the 90-day coordination package and she was the kindest, most patient, and organized planner. She responded quickly to emails and answered all of my questions, she took over communication with vendors and relieved much of the planning stress, she provided detailed checklists and kept me on track. She also created a detailed by the minute itinerary for the entire weekend for us, our vendors, and a shorthand version for our bridal party which was extremely helpful. Our wedding day was seamless with no hiccups and I can honestly thank Sonya for that. She made sure to keep the day moving on schedule, communicated with all of the vendors, and made sure to check in with me often. Even wedding guests and our parents gave raving reviews for Sonya. My husband and I agree that hiring Ohana and being able to work with Sonya was the best investment we would do all over again, and we recommend them to everyone. I wish I had hired Sonya sooner! Best wedding coordinator of all time. It is true, Ohana means family, and that is exactly how the team treats you.

The bridal valet service was another detail that made such a difference. Having someone there to help with my dress, veil, touch-ups, and all the little things throughout the day made me feel so taken care of and allowed me to truly stay present and enjoy every moment. From start to finish, Events by BBG went above and beyond in every possible way. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful, organized, and incredible the entire weekend was. I truly cannot imagine having gone through this process with anyone else. My journey into wedding planning began as a wedding planner assistant on 2017. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working with diverse couples, each with their own unique vision. Whether it’s a grand celebration or an intimate gathering, I believe that every wedding should be a true reflection of the couple’s love and personality.

We got married on 08/25/25 in Cancun. Hiring Karen Uscanga as our wedding coordinator/planner was hands-down one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. She is incredibly knowledgeable, unbelievably sweet, and so detail oriented that she was already handling things before I could even put them into words. I truly would not have made it through the planning process or the wedding day itself without her. If you think you don’t need a wedding coordinator or planner, please reconsider. Karen brought so many important details to my attention that I would have never thought of on my own. From coordinating with the DJ on exactly when to start and stop songs for walking down the aisle, to smoothly ushering guests from one part of the event to the next right on time. She had everything under control. Karen made the entire day feel seamless and stress free. I was able to actually enjoy my wedding because I knew she was behind the scenes making sure every single thing was running perfectly. If I had to do it all over again, I would hire Karen every single time in a heartbeat. I truly cannot thank her enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!
