I’m Judith Miro, the heart and soul behind Elegant Events & Decor, specializing in creating unforgettable weddings that resonate with elegance, creativity, and personal touches that reflect each couple's unique story. With over 4 years of experience in the wedding planning industry, I’ve had the joy of bringing more than 120 couples’ dream weddings to life. My journey began with a love for design and a passion for celebrations that bring people together. This passion turned into a profession when I realized I could use my skills to make wedding magic happen.
From a very early age, I found myself captivated by the sheer delight and sense of unity that celebrations brought into people's lives. The joy that radiated from both modest family get-togethers and large, elaborate festivities always fascinated me. This intrigue grew over time, yet it was not until a dear friend entrusted me with the task of organizing her destination wedding that I realized my true vocation. My goal has always been to create seamless, stress-free events that allow the bride and groom to focus on what truly matters—celebrating their love with family and friends.

Worth every penny
Many people say with Pinterest, the right excel sheet, and being type-A you don't need a wedding planner. I had a difficult relationship with my mom who was paying. Lots of drama and Judy handled it with grace. She was awesome at helping us keep track of vendor payments. She helped me think of so many things I wouldn't have known to ask. Having someone on stand by to delegate to the day of was especially important. Wedding planning takes so much time to do well. The day of is so crazy and even the most well-meaning bridesmaids and family members get so excited. Save your sanity and please hire Judy as your wedding planner! She helped us stick to a budget and kept things super simple.

Our wedding planner/coordinator was truly exceptional from start to finish. From the very beginning, she was a calming and supportive presence—especially during the moments when we felt overwhelmed or anxious about the planning process. She never hesitated to go the extra mile, whether it was answering late-night questions, taking initiative on details we hadn’t even thought of yet, or stepping in exactly when we needed guidance. One of the things we cared about most was making sure our wedding wasn’t just beautiful, but fun. We wanted the day to feel like us—joyful, vibrant, and full of energy—and she was completely on board with our vision. She took the time to truly understand what we wanted and worked tirelessly to make that dream come to life. Her help with booking vendors was incredible, and thanks to her thorough research, she even led us to the venue that ended up being absolutely perfect for us. Every choice she guided us through felt thoughtful and intentional. Because of her, our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more—stunning, seamless, and completely stress-free. It was a dream come true, and we are so deeply thankful for everything she did to make it all happen. We couldn’t imagine going through this process without her.

She even gifted us a beautiful bouquet for our gender reveal and surprised us with a thoughtful gift on our wedding day, which we truly appreciated. Horrible
I would not recommend using Elegant Events & Decor, LLC for wedding planning services. My experience with Judy was extremely disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. Communication was practically non-existent. She would take 2–3 weeks just to respond to my text messages, even though the messages showed as read with timestamps. In her initial email, she vaguely stated: “Once we’re confirmed, I’ll begin working with you on securing your final vendors and moving forward with the planning details. Let me know if you have any questions, I’m here to help!” — but no additional details, steps, or actual planning guidance were provided. Although she did send me some vendor recommendations, she never assisted in contacting them, confirming details, or finalizing anything, which is the bare minimum you expect from a wedding planner, especially she told me over the phone she would call a pasta place to ask for a quote. I had specifically picked her because I asked her over our first phone call if looking for vendors would be part of the deal because I was planning my wedding in 3 months. She agreed, then sent me the contract with the email stating what I included in the above text. Throughout the process, she repeatedly went MIA without communication. I even reached out and offered to pay more if additional assistance required a higher fee. My messages were left on read, and I received no response. The last message I got from her was in 8/20/25. On September 6, 2025, Judy finally replied via e-mail ( as a response to my text saying that I no longer needed her services) and claimed that what I was requesting was “outside the scope of the contract,” even though I had already asked her (8/20/25) how much extra I needed to pay to receive the support she advertised, but that message was ignored and no answer was provided. In that same e-mail, she stated she would return my deposit, but as of today (11/18/25) it still has not been refunded. It feels misleading for her to say in July ( which is when I sent the deposit) that she would begin securing vendors and working on finalizing details, only to turn around in September 6th and say that asking for those exact services was outside of the contract. At this point, I’ve been more than patient. Overall, the quality of service, communication, and professionalism was vague, unhelpful, and frankly shady. Elegant Events & Decor, LLC did not contribute anything positive to my wedding planning experience. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for reliable, professional wedding support.
