“Booking Carinvalè for our wedding was the absolute BEST decision we could have ever made!! Our venue had recommended BVTLive if we were interested in booking a band, so we watched one of their live showcases streamed live on YouTube. My husband and I enjoyed all of the bands that played, but one really stuck out to us, Carnivalè! We booked Carnivalè without even seeing them in person, that’s how good they are! When we did attend a showcase in person a few weeks later, they exceeded our expectations and we started counting down the days until they would play at our wedding! Working with Nils to lay out all of our options was amazing! He is the sweet person you’ll ever meet and so on top of things! Leading up to the wedding we worked closely with our band leader, El, to choose songs and create a timeline for our wedding. El and Carnivalè have played at tons of events and weddings and were super organized and easy going! Fast forward to our wedding night, El and the band were absolutely INCREDIBLE!! They catered to all ages at our wedding and made it a night to remember! I really can’t put into words how much fun everyone had and how amazing the band sounded the entire night! “Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.”

“The communication with Prime 1 Productions could have been better leading up to the wedding. While they did a decent job overall with the music and entertainment, they could have done a better job reading the vibe of the room and playing more of a variety of songs that got everyone dancing. The person I booked with was not the one who actually came to our wedding, which was a bit of a surprise. However, the DJ who did come was very nice and tried his best, even though he messed up the intro to our first dance a bit. Overall, Prime 1 Productions provided a serviceable performance, but I wish they had been a bit more in tune with the energy and preferences of our guests.”
