Because of her suggestions, I ended up with a healthy glow on my skin and less wrinkles so I didn't have to wear concealer at all for my wedding! I was thrilled about that since I wanted to have my freckles still show through and have a more natural look for the pictures. “I came to your team 6 weeks out from my wedding after a bad experience at a previous hair and makeup trial with another vendor, feeling very sensitive and nervous about how hair and makeup with another team would go. After a perfect trial with Heather and Suzy, I was so relieved and confident about working with them on my wedding day. After the trial, I made a last minute change on my hairstyle for the wedding by deciding I wanted a flower crown, and took a leap of faith in hoping that Suzy would be able to help put it on me during a very tight window as a surprise for the ceremony. I mean it to my core when I say that I could not be more elated about how it all turned out. Suzy absolutely crushed it. Heather completely understood what I was asking for and flawlessly executed it. They both listened to my requests and feedback without judgement and did an amazing job. I also really appreciated that they both heard me when I let them know I was introverted and probably would want to use my hair and makeup time as a social battery recharge opportunity rather than engaging. I really felt like they respected this and did not take it personally, and I never had to remind them of it. I even noticed how they adapted their engagement depending on which people in my wedding party they were working on. One of my bridesmaids is much more extroverted and I overheard her having a wonderful conversation with Heather. Another bridesmaid is as introverted as I am and I observed she and Suzy working together in a peaceful environment of mutual respect for the silence. Earthtones hit the nail on the head, and I think they're the best hidden gem we found when booking wedding vendors. They accommodated two brides who needed hair and makeup and were understanding that we wanted two very different styles (one of us with an updo and one with a simple blowout). For our trial, I wanted to make sure I saw all of my options, so they let me try three different styles, which was above and beyond what I expected. EvaMarie and Olivia even accommodated adding a hair service the night of our rehearsal dinner at the last minute! On our wedding morning, Cori, our makeup artist, was truly the most calming and grounded presence in the room.
