Chris was amazing to work with. From start to finish, the first phone chat really demonstrated his interest and passion and ability to make us feel comfortable, the wedding day was great and I felt like he captured so many amazing moments while also being able to take lots of candids while we danced and enjoyed ourselves, and the photos we received were amazing. I’ve gotten so many compliments on how beautiful the photos are and how talented our photographer was.

I'm Marc Sadowski, a New England wedding photographer with 20+ years of experience capturing weddings across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, and beyond. My approach is candid and documentary — I stay back, watch, and wait for the moments that happen when you forget the camera is there. I learned photography as a photojournalist, where you get one shot or you miss it forever. That instinct drives everything I do on your wedding day.

Hiring Marc was honestly one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Right off the bat, he was super organized and easy to communicate with. We had a multiple of calls/meetings before the big day to go over our schedule and what we wanted everything to look like, which gave us so much peace of mind. On the day of, he was amazing to work with. Neither of us wanted to feel stiff or forced into weird poses, and he completely respected that. He stuck to what made us feel comfortable, and it made the whole process feel natural and fun. Plus, he is ridiculously talented and brought such a great energy that made the entire day feel magical. We're so grateful for him!

We had the best time working with Emily & Mark for both our wedding day and engagement photos. They helped us enjoy our wedding day to the fullest and made us feel so comfortable. They went above and beyond to help us coordinate a timeline and the photos we wanted to capture. Super easy to communicate with from start to finish and worked so well with our other vendors. Truly happy with our final gallery (which we got so quickly) and we can’t wait to show our friends and families. 10/10 recommend Thomson & Thomson!

Steve Nisotel Photography

  • Starts at $3,800
  • Serves Norfolk, MA

I think there’s a real absence of authenticity in today’s world. Everywhere we look, people are polishing themselves into a perfect image for the internet. But that’s not where the beauty is. The beauty lives in the real moments — the big, loud, messy, emotional, human ones you can’t stage or script. That’s what I chase. Since 2016, I’ve been documenting weddings for couples who want to feel present, relaxed, and fully themselves. I gravitate toward the candid, the unplanned, the way a glance turns into laughter and a quiet moment becomes unforgettable.

Awarded Best of Zola
Steve Nisotel Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our engagement shoot and wedding day. Their communication style was casual and comfortable, which put us at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of their work was truly exceptional - they have a great candid and documentary-style approach that captured all the smaller, meaningful moments that we'll cherish forever. They worked seamlessly with our schedule and ensured our entire shot list was met, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy our celebration. We couldn't be happier with the beautiful photos that now serve as a timeless reminder of our special day. Highly recommend Steve Nisotel Photography to any couple looking for a talented, creative, and professional photography team.

My husband and I hired Aprea Media, aka Sarah and John, to be our photographers for our wedding. Their package came with an engagement photo session, which we did shortly after hiring them. The engagement session was so much fun! We went to the place we had our first date, LA Burdick, and Sarah captured so many cute photos of us drinking hot chocolate together. We then walked around Cambridge and had some really fun impromptu photos at a flower shop. We loved the engagement photos so much we used them on our save-the-dates and incorporated them into the wedding decor! It was so awesome having Sarah and John both capture all of our special moments on the day of the wedding, from getting ready (BOTH me and my husband have a bunch of awesome getting ready photos!), our first look and portraits before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, cocktail hour, reception festivities, and incredibly artistic details shots. They are both so much fun and offer cute suggestions for poses, but they also go with the flow if you have fun ideas you want to try! We got a lot of really sweet unplanned photos throughout the night. I didn't know anything about different photography styles before we hired them (we just liked their work and they were super friendly), but they really are so experienced with candid/documentary style photography. We love having photos where we can see all the sincere emotions on our faces from laughing, crying with joy, and pure bliss, in addition to our more posed portrait-style photos. Sarah's editing is so dreamy across all our engagement and wedding photos. We now have our walls at home covered in their photography - they did such an amazing job capturing all the fun parts of our day! As a really sweet bonus, they recorded video of our first dance and ceremony upon our request, along with a lot of fun highlights that we get to watch to relive the memories now. We truly can't recommend them enough!!!

Lindsey was absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end of the process! We learned about Lindsey through our friends, and as soon as we saw their photos, we knew we wanted to work with her. Lindsey is incredibly thoughtful and creative - in just a couple of conversations, she perfectly captured our energy and helped immensely with talking through planning, timeline, and design details to make sure our wedding looked and felt true to us. She was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, which really helped to decrease planning stress. Working with her at our engagement shoot and on our wedding day was such a joy, she did an amazing job making us feel calm, comfortable, and present while still providing that little amount of direction to make sure the photos were gorgeous. And they were perfect! Julian also worked with us on our wedding day, and also did an amazing job providing thoughtful direction and encouragement to get us incredible photos. The photos have the warm, romantic quality that led us to Lindsey in the first place. We will treasure these photos forever, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose Lindsey to take them! Hands down the best Boston wedding photographer you could imagine!

SO happy with everything about this day and the great job Hayley and Daniel did. They truly captured the spirit of the event... from the formal pics to so many candids throughout the day and evening and everything in between. We were not going to get the video but in the end that was an exceptional add and so glad we did... both the short form and the long one... we watch them all the time. They are great memories of the day and cannot thank them enough!

Hey! I am so glad you are here! I am a professional wedding photographer based in Boston and I LOVE MY JOB! This is my 11th year in business with over 500 weddings, elopements and engagements photographed, which means I've happily survived every timeline hiccup, weather plot twist, and rogue flower girl New England can throw at me. You may be here for my work but most of my couples hire me because of my personality; it feels like you're hanging with a longtime friend that gets things done. I discovered my love of photographing couples while I was working at Apple (super nerd over here) and it's been my passion ever since.

Her experience, knowledge, and personality truly make her the perfect package as a wedding photographer. Her energy was infectious and allowed my husband and I to relax and genuinely enjoy our wedding day confident all the moments, details, and formal photos would be captured. We purchased her package, inclusive of an engagement shoot, which we would highly recommend! Our experience with Erin from start to finish was truly flawless as she communicates each and every step and provides extremely valuable advice. She was always willing to jump on a call when we had questions, which eased our concerns as we finalized the timelines and planning approaching our day. Book with Erin, you will not regret it!

Hello there new friend! My name is Jo and it is SO great to meet you! I am a wedding, elopement... and pretty much all things love- photographer based in the incredible city of Boston, Massachusetts! I'm a hopeless romantic at heart! And if there's one thing in this life that I absolutely adore, it's a GOOD love story. If I had to pick a second thing, it would be working with couples that are authentic, joyful, and unapologetically themselves. So as you can imagine, weddings and elopements are my absolute FAVORITE! Joining along on the happiest day of your life is a dream, and I adore all the moments I get to share with my couples!

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring Jo as our wedding photographer was the best decision! She is incredibly talented and delivered incredibly high quality, beautiful photos and captured our wedding day perfectly. We went with her 8 hour package and added a second shooter as well. Jo delivered our FULL album early and her photography style is exactly what we wanted. Jo expertly handled family photos which can be challenging, but she was organized and direct and made the experience efficient. Our guests kept commenting on how amazing she was and seeing the final album blew us away. One of our guests commented that our photos looked like they were "straight out of a Vogue wedding feature" and that's all because of Jo's eye and talent. I highly recommend working with Jo to anyone in the Boston/MA area because of her incredible talent, her professionalism and her organization throughout the day!

Summer St Films is a Boston-based wedding photography and videography studio rooted in a cinematic documentary approach. We focus on real moments as they naturally unfold — the quiet anticipation, the in-between glances, the subtle gestures that often go unnoticed. Our work is less about directing and more about observing, allowing space for the day to move honestly. The goal is simple: to create images and films that feel timeless, atmospheric, and true to how it actually felt to be there.

Weifan is incredible! We asked him to take our engagement pictures and those were perfect, so we asked him to take pictures from our elopement and the reception a few months after. They do such an amazing job. I'm so happy with the results that I've already made a book with my favorites. I really can't say enough good things about Weifan and his team. They really take the time to know the couple and I felt like Weifan wasn't taking taking generic pictures, but pictures that highlighted us and our love. He really does capture the magic of our love.

We chose to work with Aaron because he brings something different to the table. He doesn’t just capture the usual wedding photos of family members uncomfortably standing arm to arm with painfully forced smiles on. Instead, he carefully finds beautiful geometries in the buildings or light poking through a forgotten window. His photos are thoughtful, well-planned, and artistic. His subject and backgrounds blend together in a perfect unity that captures special moments in ways you didn’t think were possible. Aaron is incredibly easy to work with and will keep you laughing throughout the day. You won’t regret working with him.

Authentic moments and real love stories. Wedding photos that feel like you. For me, the most important part of your wedding day is that you enjoy it. I have 10+ years and 200+ weddings of experience, and I genuinely love my job. Queer/LGBTQ+ friendly - always.

Awarded Best of Zola
First of all, Sasha is one of the only photographers that I work with. As a performing musician, I am very self conscious, have a lot of imposter syndrome, and can be really uncomfortable putting my own image out there. I have worked with Sasha consistently for my artist portraits because she knows how to help me get over those aspects and get the best out of me. When it came time to pick a photographer for my wedding, it was a no brainer. Sasha is patient, personable, and has SUCH an eye for lighting and color. I recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Whiting Photography
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,800
  • Serves Norfolk, MA

I'm not a stand-in-the-corner photographer. I love being welcomed in as part of the family. Most of all, I want to you be comfortable with me at your wedding so you can just enjoy your day. It’s just one less thing to worry about knowing that you have a friend there to capture all of the candid, emotional, hysterical and real moments that will happen throughout your day.

When we got engaged and planned a winter wedding we knew we wanted a photographer who would be able to capture the romance of the season through light and color. The galleries on the Whiting Photography website did just that! Stephen has an incredible way of making photos feel personal regardless of whether you know the couple/family or not. When we got to meet Stephen through Zoom my husband and I both agreed that he would not only do a great job capturing the love and happiness we share, but also be an awesome person to hangout with on the most important day of our lives. We weren’t able to do an engagement session with him, but got to meet in person a year before our wedding and scope out picture locations. Our first impressions from Zoom were absolutely correct. Stephen was professional, talented, and friendly. We knew he would get along great with our family and friends. Throughout our engagement Stephen was communicative and helpful with all things photo and even recommended other vendors. He is someone whose opinion we trust and would go to him for his thoughts and ideas, such as “What is it like when the bride walks down the aisle alone?“ On the day of our wedding Stephen arrived and got right to work! He stayed out of the way of hair and makeup, capturing detail shots while we finished final touches. During such a chaotic morning this was majorly appreciated. I truly believe that the wedding party fed off of his calm and supportive mood making the afternoon a breeze. The additional treats that Whiting Photography offers, such as the heirloom albums and The Zebra Booth are really what set him apart from other photographers. Being able to get the photo booth pictures the same night as our wedding was great. It gave us something to look at the next day and our guests loved it! They also commented on how much they loved Stephen, but duh. Not even two days later Stephen sent us a HUGE sneak peek which had us in tears. The love, light & romance we hired Stephen for was absolutely captured and then some. We cannot wait to get together to create our album, and hopefully schedule family shoots in the future.

Hi, I'm Brooke (she/they) I'm a Massachusetts based wedding & elopement photographer. A client once told me that I captured things in their wedding photos that until then they had only ever felt. I saw this as the ultimate compliment. My goal in every session is to do just that: Turn an intangible feeling into a tangible image that will make your heart soar every time you see it. But what does love look like?

Chace Yang Photo & Video

We’re a full-time wedding photography and videography team passionate about capturing love stories and life’s most meaningful moments. My journey began back in high school, when I first discovered photography and fell in love with the idea of recording and sharing genuine emotions. One of the greatest joys for me is seeing people relive their happiest memories through the images we create.

Working with Chace as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. From the very start, he was incredibly responsible, detail-oriented, and patient. Before the wedding, he took the time to go through our entire timeline, mapping out key events and even scouting ideal spots for photos. It was clear he cared about more than just taking pictures — he wanted to capture our story. On the day itself, Chace worked seamlessly with our event planner, MC, and staff, somehow managing to be everywhere without ever feeling intrusive. He guided us through poses naturally, helping us feel comfortable while still making sure each shot looked amazing. I really appreciated how he encouraged us to get a few more photos in whenever time allowed — those turned out to be some of our favorites! Afterward, Chace was extremely responsive and his edits elevated every photo to something truly special. You can tell he loves what he does. We’re so grateful to have had Chace document our wedding — his work perfectly captured the emotions, energy, and love of the day.

Hi! I'm Chrissy. I've been lucky enough to photograph weddings and meet tons of awesome couples since 2014. I'm based in Boston, MA but I'm always more than happy to travel anywhere your adventure takes you. My work has brought me as far as Tokyo and I'm so ready to explore more new places! In my down time I love to surf, paint, go to concerts, and watch horror movies. I'm full of useless astrology facts and I always have extra snacks with me.

Chrissy is an absolutely amazing photographer. I’ve followed her work for years and knew as soon as we got engaged that Chrissy would be our photographer. During the process I stressed to Chrissy I just didn’t want the same traditional boring poses/portraits for either our engagement photos or wedding photos and she delivered! Granted, there were some exceptions for family photos of course, but overall exactly what we wanted. Chrissy made us feel extremely comfortable and I trusted her judgement on everything. She is easy to work with and really goes above and beyond to make sure that your day goes smoothly. Thank you so much for everything! You really helped capture the love and happiness on our wedding day!

My name is Gabby and I am a LGBTQ+ travel wedding photographer based in Boston. I'm dedicated to preserving the nostalgia of your special day whether in New England or worldwide. My directing approach is to seamlessly guide you by posing through movement and letting you be yourself. If this is what you’re looking for, then I'd love to chat more!

Working with Gabby was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. When we look through our photos, we not only see things that resemble and remind us of our wedding day, but can feel exactly what our wedding FELT like. She uses light, movement, and captures every bit of emotion. Every single image is more beautiful than the next. Somehow Gabby made you feel like she was everywhere all at once and also nowhere at all. She fits in SO seamlessly, but notices everything. A quiet hand squeeze from my mom, a tearful laugh, Gabby captured it all. Beyond her talent, Gabby is an incredible person. She is warm, easygoing, and (I believe) can make absolutely anyone feel comfortable in front of a camera. She is kind and detailed. She is observant and absurdly talented. I'd recommend her to anybody and would rate her even more stars if I could. Thank you, thank you, thank you Gabby. You make remembering our day fun.

Angelina Rose Photography

  • Serves Norfolk, MA

A Boston Wedding & Elopement Photographer The little moments can reveal so much "How do you want to spend your day?" It’s the question I ask every potential client, and almost always, the answer involves spending the day with the people who matter most. They want their photography to reflect their joy and the genuine emotions of the day. They seek artistry and authenticity, desiring a collection of images that speak to them on a fundamental level. They want to be present on their wedding day and they don’t have to perform for a photograph. I’m a documentary wedding photographer and that’s exactly what I do.

Awarded Best of Zola
As much as Angie's photos speak for themselves, I've got a word or two to say myself: This photographer is THE ONE to capture your big day! We were initially drawn to the natural yet electric feel of Angie's work. The joy of her subjects feels very real -- because it is. Angie is there to capture real joy and real beauty and real love, not to force it through posing or a trick of the light. Her passion is for people and for love itself, and that's what makes her work second to none! Like I wrote above: these stunning shots very much speak for themselves (and they say "joy," "love," "BLISS!" and everything else we experienced on our wedding day) But Angie's talent isn't the only reason to hire her. She is a kind professional with a calming presence and a "sixth sense" for when & where to capture the perfect shot. She's got an artist's eye, and sought out unique locations & lighting to make the most out of our photoshoot around the MASS MoCA campus. (Check out that silhouette of our profiles! A spontaneous idea of hers ;) ) While we were still in the planning stage, Angie took the time to regularly check in with us and prepare. Whenever we were on the phone with her, it felt like she was in the room with us! Her friendliness and passion came through in our conversations, and we felt relieved knowing that we wouldn't have to worry about how we might "get along" with our photographer on our wedding day. Once Angie arrived on the day-of, everything felt natural. Throughout the day & evening, we never felt "overwhelmed" by her presence, yet she was always there to snap the most animated moments. And not just our most animated moments -- the photos of our guests are so charged with emotion, we can hear & feel them! Our favorite part of going through our wedding album has been seeing the joy on our guests' faces, all captured by Angie. Whenever we want to relive that night -- or live a new part of it that we didn't get to see -- our experience and all of our guests' unique experiences are just a few clicks away. I knew her photos would be beautiful, but I didn't anticipate this....totally immersive quality. Each shot is like a portal straight back to the moment it captures. These photos are ALIVE, and we are so grateful! Thank you, Angie, for all of the perfect lil picture-portals 333

Born and raised in Maine, I dream of one day retiring there by the sea, like a real life Miss Rumphius. But until then, I live just outside of Boston with my husband and our three cats. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, but we waited more than a decade before saying our own vows. Sometimes (okay, often) I eat cake for breakfast, so you can always count on me to help taste test yours. If I'm not photographing people in love, I'm probably enjoying a glass (bottle) of champagne on the couch or planning my next adventure. I believe everything is better by the ocean and you should never wait to explore the world.

Kendra's photography is so beautiful and she is a delight to be around! Her knowledge and passion for photography show in her work. She has such a creative eye and captures everything- people, details, architecture - so beautifully. I have worked with her a number of times, on weddings and most recently for branding photos. I was blown away by the images, and I'm sure you will be too!

I am a wedding & portrait photographer and event planner based out of The Berkshires, MA. As an avid traveller, and photographer for the better part of a decade, I am constantly in awe of the human existence, and how we connect. As a wedding photographer, I aim to capture your wedding moments as they unfold. For me, the beautiful part about weddings is the celebration of life, love, unscripted moments (and all that comes with it). In all of the happy tears, big laughs and tight hugs. It is my wish to not only see these beautiful memories in photographs, but truly see the people in them.

Seriously, look no further for your wedding / engagement photographer! Finding a photographer was one of our top priorities when we initially started looking for wedding vendors and we cannot sing Abigail's praises enough. After months of research, we ended up choosing Abigail for her professionalism, warmth and artistic eye and it was one of the best decisions we made. She is extremely talented and did an incredible job capturing portraits and candid moments during our Korean Paebek and our wedding ceremony. Every single person we have shown our gallery to raves about the pictures and I have already referred Abigail to a number of other engaged couples. She was sincerely a joy to work with, made me and my husband feel at ease and captured absolutely stunning photographs that we will cherish for decades to come.

New England wedding & lifestyle photographer. Boston based, available for travel. I’ve been obsessed with weddings and photography for my entire life, so naturally when I graduated from college I immediately started this business. I fell in love with it after the very first wedding I shot back in 2012 and every day I have to pinch myself because I truly LOVE my job. There is nothing I'd rather be doing than this!

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Anne! From start to finish, she was absolutely incredible. Not only did we have the most perfect wedding day, but Anne captured it in a way that lets us relive every moment over and over again. Anne brought such a calming presence to the day and made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. She captured every smile, every happy tear, every little moment in such a genuine way. We’re endlessly grateful for Anne’s talent, professionalism, and kindness. We can’t recommend Anne highly enough, not just for weddings, but for any special event where you want genuine, beautifully captured memories to last a lifetime. Anne was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we can't wait to work with her again!

When I was a kid growing up in Michigan, I was always fooling around with my mom’s old manual cameras and capturing everything my friends and I did. I took traditional art classes in high school, but even then, I was merely creating paintings of the photos I had taken. I went on to study documentary photography at the Maryland Institute of Art and abroad at the University of Wales, where I won the Nikon Discovery Award Grand Prize and was named one of the 25 Under 25 Up-and-Coming American Photographers. When a friend asked me to assist at a wedding she was photographing, and my plans changed in an instant.

I had the pleasure of working with Gina when she photographed a wedding at my venue. Gina was wonderful to work with: her calm demeanor, efficiency, cheerfulness, unique perspective, and professionalism made the day a pleasure. She has the ability to direct couples and their guests to get a great shot with ease. And the results!!! Her images are stunning! She was able to capture the spirit and the essence of the wedding couple in every image. And with her creative eye, created images that will always be cherished. As a venue manager, I love sharing Gina's images because they show off my space so creatively and elegantly. I would, without hesitation, highly recommend Gina Brocker Photography.
