Born and raised in Maine, I dream of one day retiring there by the sea, like a real life Miss Rumphius. But until then, I live just outside of Boston with my husband and our three cats. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, but we waited more than a decade before saying our own vows. Sometimes (okay, often) I eat cake for breakfast, so you can always count on me to help taste test yours. If I'm not photographing people in love, I'm probably enjoying a glass (bottle) of champagne on the couch or planning my next adventure. I believe everything is better by the ocean and you should never wait to explore the world.

My specialty is making you feel totally comfortable and totally confident and totally yourselves. That's a promise. Because if there's one thing I know for sure and truly believe: everyone is beautiful and everyone deserves to feel amazing. You want to feel totally comfortable, and you need a photographer you can trust completely to make that happen. From the hugs to the laughter to the epic dance moves, you don't want to miss a moment of your wedding day.     We found Kendra on Instagram (yes, Instagram!) and instantly fell in love with her style. She is so personable and made us feel like ourselves in front of the camera, which included lots of giggles and following us around while we adventured for our engagement shoot. We picked Kendra as our wedding photographer for a lot of reasons, but initially because we loved her natural, bright and romantic aesthetic. As soon as we started working with Kendra, it was like we had been friends for a long time. She made us feel special and knew exactly what to say to capture our emotions and love for one another in the way that we expressed it, which sounds like a no brainer, but it can be challenging to feel "normal" when a new person is in front of you and taking your picture! In addition to being an incredible photographer, we turned to Kendra for her opinion and advice in some of our wedding decisions that we were having trouble making. Kendra gladly and professionally provided us with her input and even sent us some photos of examples of things we were considering that she had previously photographed so we had a visual. On the day of our wedding, from the moment Kendra arrived, she ran the show. I was so excited to see her and felt like she was a wedding guest that had arrived, but even though we developed an excellent rapport, Kendra meant business and was ready to do her job, so she got the ball really rolling. Shortly after her arrival, tension started to grow as we became closer and closer to the time of the ceremony and things didn't go exactly as we had planned them. Kendra had our backs and helped us to solve as many problems as we could, and make the best of the others that we had to move on from. This would be described under going "above and beyond the call of duty"! Kendra was there for us as our incredible photographer, but she wore many hats that contributed to the success of our wedding day. You should select Kendra as your wedding photographer if you want someone who is calm and personable, while delivering natural, bright and romantic photos. We are so grateful to Kendra for our beautiful photos and all of her help in making our day be a success!!

    As a wedding planner, I work with a lot of photographers, and Kendra remains one of my all-time favorites to know and work with. She is organized and professional, puts all of her couples at ease, and above all else, her work is stunning. The way she captures color, emotion, and details - plus all of the candid moments - is so special and can be hard to come by! I recommend Kendra to all of my couples, and everyone that knows her feels an immediate connection. She's one of those people that feels like an old friend right away, and is so good at making everyone around her feel comfortable and supported. I'd highly recommend hiring Kendra as your wedding photographer!

    Kendra was such a comfort to my husband and I during the entirety of our wedding planning process, thru our wedding and beyond. She was always available for communication and never once made us feel like we were asking too much or being bothersome. Kendras energy is amazing, especially for two people that do not consider themselves photogenic! She brought out the best in us and it reflects in our engagement and wedding day photos. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

    Kendra's photography is so beautiful and she is a delight to be around! Her knowledge and passion for photography show in her work. She has such a creative eye and captures everything- people, details, architecture - so beautifully. I have worked with her a number of times, on weddings and most recently for branding photos. I was blown away by the images, and I'm sure you will be too!
