I’ve been making pictures since I was 12. My parents gave me an ancient 35mm Konica Autoreflex camera, told me to get after it, and the rest, as they say, is history. My role as a photographer is to capture the rare, vulnerable, epic, extraordinary, and wonderfully ordinary moments of life, as well as the beautiful details in between. I grew up as a young cousin in a big extended family, and gatherings were always a lively affair. I learned that my favorite part the season was watching my family bond over stories (loudly). Picking up a camera let me bottle those moments for other families, whatever yours looks & sounds like. Our first kiss was on the beach, under a star-filled sky, on my favorite island, only home to shells, bioluminescent creatures, and wild horses.
