I believe pictures shouldn’t be painful. I want you to feel special, happy, gorgeous, and well-cared-for throughout your photography adventure, but most of all I want you to have fun. A relaxed couple makes an even more beautiful couple on that most important of days, and I will go above and beyond for my couples to ensure that is exactly what happens. I’m not just a photographer on your wedding day: I’m a friend.

I love people. What does that mean for you? That means that I care about my couples, and their friends and family, as if I have known them my entire life. I work hard to make sure everyone feels comfortable so that the images I capture are candid, relaxed shots of real moments.

    Photographer for Life

    I've never been comfortable in front of a camera and our engagement shoot was a big point of anxiety for me. Within 5 minutes, we were laughing and completely relaxed. It resulted in beautiful photos. Between that time and the wedding, we had developed such a friendship that she was more of a guest than a vendor. Her creativity and eye were just incredible. Our photos and photo book are amazing. We'd hire her again and again and again.

Typically, couples book me 12 to 24 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
All of my full-size wedding packages include a second photographer, and I nearly always work with my daughter as second--we make an excellent team!
Definitely! All of your proofs will be personally selected and hand-edited by me!
My turnaround time varies by season. I always provide a few sneak peeks you can share on social media within 24 to 48 hours of your wedding, and typically, you’ll be able to view your entire gallery online about 6 to 8 weeks after your wedding, or during peak season, within 8 to 12 weeks. I also post a blog with my favorite images of your day to make sharing with family and friends easy!
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my several years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the highly unlikely event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant, or I can provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
I am based in Maine, and most travel within Maine is covered with no additional fee. Travel to outside of Maine to Massachusetts or New Hampshire will incur a $500 travel fee, except when it is already included in the investment collection selected. Want me to go farther? Let's talk!
