Beth is AMAZING at what she does. We could not have survived our wedding without her. She is confident, organized and very knowledgeable. She also brought a lot of fun energy! She helped us address a lot of little details we never considered. When we needed guidance she helped us figure out what we want. She directed us to other incredible vendors like our photographer. As it got close to the wedding she was always available and quick to respond. She even added an extra meeting when I was stressed and felt like I needed to make sure we were on the right path with getting things done. When I started to panic about decor she sent me photos and even doodles to help me envision it which was not only helpful but made me laugh. Her and her team made our day so amazing and memorable. I can't say enough great things about her. She instilled so much confidence that we just knew if anything happened she would take care of it. We had absolute faith and trust in her and she handled everything perfectly. She took so much stress off of us. The coordination was very reasonably priced and she helped with all the set up and break down which I found that to be not included with a lot of other places- worth every penny. After our wedding everything was packaged up right by the door so we just packed the cars and left. If you're on the fence, definitely book with this company, you'll be so glad you did!!!!

Brooke is an absolute gem and I feel so lucky that we were referred to her. I told her early on that I did not expect to personally have any fun on my wedding day, and all because of Brooke, I had without a doubt, the best day of my entire life. What a phenomenal way to kick of our marriage. We went back and forth on getting a planner, but finally decided that having a day-of coordinator would probably alleviate a lot of stress. Brooke went above and beyond what we expected from a day-of, always offering to take on tasks that seemed too overwhelming for us (finding shuttles, hotel blocks). She was responsive and routinely checked in on us formally and informally. Imagine our shock when we learned she was giving us so much attention and professionalism while she was in the middle of planning her OWN wedding just months before our date! If she was stressed by that, she never showed it, and she even offered us some advice based on her own personal experiences. I had never been in a wedding so I was not at all privy to what goes into planning. Brooke was totally on board with shirking some traditions while prioritizing what we valued most (sentimentality, personalization, guest experience). She made suggestions, but never made us feel pressured to do anything. I wanted full control over several aspects of the wedding and she never made me feel like I was not capable or stupid for, say, wanting to do my own flowers. During our meetings, she was organized and efficient and I always felt better after speaking with her. She made an effort to get in contact with all of our vendors and important people so that everyone could be on the same page for the weekend. She had never done a wedding at our venue (the Ithaca Farmers Market) and made an effort to acquaint herself with the space and (very thorough) procedures beforehand. Brooke is not only professional, flexible, and organized, She is also exactly the person you want with you on your wedding day. I have 2 ways of responding to stress – being a goof and being a snappy, rude b**** and Brooke responded to both with total grace and kindness. She gave me the space to crack jokes during the rehearsal, certainly dragging out the process, which made me feel like it was still OUR wedding and not someone else’s idea of a wedding. If something wasn’t going exactly the way I wanted (e.g. my dad forgot something important at the hotel), I would often take out my frustration on Brooke who would receive it, speak kindly to me, and smile (when what I really deserved sometimes was a slap). She has a way of making you feel seen, heard, and safe, which is exactly what you need when everyone’s eyes are on you. And it was not just me, everyone totally adored her and appreciated her presence. What was really important to me, is that to the extent there were any mistakes/miscommunications (inevitable!) Brooke always took accountability and never tried to redirect blame (even if it was not hers to accept). I really respect this in a person and did not find a ton of it in the wedding planning industry otherwise. Overall, Brooke listens, works super hard, treats you like a dear friend, lets you be yourself.

She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. I don’t think I can truly explain or fit into a review how amazing Kris with unKAGed events is! We hired Kris because this was a destination wedding for us and we needed help with locating vendors and wanted to feel like we had someone that we could work with in the area that was familiar with the industry and able to coordinate day of for us. I had my initial call with Kris and immediately felt comfortable and listened to with any questions or concerns I had with planning. She offered us different vendors for catering, rentals, dj and cake. She setup up tastings and meetings with all vendors making sure we felt comfortable and confident with every vendor we went with. Kris went above and beyond being CCd on every email and on every call. She provided quick and accurate information throughout the planning process. We ran into issues with our venue along the way and Kris was right there beside us helping us and working through it. What can feel like the chaos of wedding planning we knew we could trust her and rely on her. When it came to day of as a bride it’s hard to feel like you don’t have full control over your day. However trusting Kris after working with her leading up to the big day I knew she was going to do all she could to bring my vision to life and make the best decisions for our wedding. She did just that! I can’t put into words how much she did for us - from all the work leading up, rehearsal, setting up ceremony site, setting up cocktail hour, setting up the reception tables and seating chart and then breaking it all down after - she truly does it all!! I knew I was hiring someone to help us along the way and for the day of our wedding what I didn’t know is I was hiring someone who would care about us the way she did.

Elizabeth at E&A Events was the PERFECT solution! I engaged her right away and used her Day of Coordination package which was honestly SO affordable and SO MUCH help to me and to the bride. She worked with us in preparing for the wedding, solved all of our concerns and unknowns as she is so familiar with weddings and how things “should go” and what pitfalls to be aware of.  She was very flexible and all about working with my daughter’s vision for the wedding day, including helping with updates to timelines etc. On the day of, even though the venue provided a “coordinator”, it was so necessary to have someone there who was all about me as the mother of the bride and all about the bride and her day.  Elizabeth was all over the venue throughout the ceremony and reception, making sure things were being handled and staying on track with our wishes;  if there was any issue, she was on it and this allowed me to relax and enjoy the day! Hands down - the best part of the entire support that Elizabeth provided was offered AFTER the event ended;  she stayed long after and made sure that all the centerpieces were broken down and all of the decor was stashed away in one place so we could easily go pick it up the following day.  And this was packing up centerpieces with 28 floating candles on two separate floors — I was having nightmares of having to empty all those vases, but Elizabeth made it so easy! She is friendly, organized and persistent — there is no reason whatsoever to not invest in her support for your wedding or any event — but especially a wedding … this one day can be so expensive - she ensures that nothing goes wrong and you can just enjoy your special day.  HIGHLY recommend her!
