“When we started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted a laid back vibe where it felt like we were spending real, quality time with our loved ones. We wanted it to feel formal and special, but also like a little vacation where we could relax and let our hair down. And most importantly, as a couple that works in music and production, we really wanted it to feel like a music festival. Full Moon Resort completely delivered on our vision, and most importantly, took so much stress out of planning the whole weekend. First of all, the venue is gorgeous. Even though it was cold and we moved our ceremony under the tent, the landscape and the rustic charm of the grounds just can't be beaten. The pavilion is so gorgeous you don't need to go overboard with decor! The team at Full Moon really, really knows what they're doing. Every time I began to get stressed during the planning process, the events team would reach out with guidance and questions to keep me on track with planning. They've seen it all and had answers to every question I had. THE FOOD. The portions are insane, and everything was delicious. Our guests raved about it. We had gone back and forth on if we wanted a cake, but at the tasting we had a vanilla and peach cake that was to die for and could not pass it up. And finally, the vibes. The entire wedding weekend felt like a dream. It was so relaxed and so FUN. The Roadhouse for the after party was unbelievable. Our guests are still raving about it. If you're looking for a campground vibe at a great value, this is it. We wish we could do it all over again.”

“We only needed to tour one venue, and it was Blenheim. After our initial walkthrough of the space, we were convinced that this was everything that we could want in a venue and then some. Having over 12 years of wedding planning experience, Min and Morten offered us assurance that our wedding day would be executed beautifully- and it was. The Blenheim family were incredibly detail-oriented, clear, and responsive during the planning process. They guided us through multiple virtual meetings, providing extensive planning documents to ensure our day would run smoothly. As a person that doesn't love planning, they supported me and offered suggestions- making sure that the day would flow effortlessly. Their natural, open, and beautifully rustic venue was the ideal location for our special celebration; the venue itself reflected us as a couple and we have not stopped receiving compliments on the venue and the attentive and personable staff at Blenheim. The food was absolutely delicious - our guests raved about the amazing appetizers during cocktail hour. We had many last-minute changes and the Blenheim team did not miss a beat in executing our every wish. “I've been shooting weddings at Mountainville Manor house since Lauren Abramo and team first started bringing their magic touch to renovate the venue. Since then I have shot number weddings there. Each one has gone off without a hitch, with the back end working smoothy to produce a flawless event for the guests. One of the bet things as a vendor is how they look out for us. I never have to beg for a glass of water. We are always fed on time with the food is hot! (That never happens.) If the treat the vendors as well as they do, you can only imagine how they cater to the bride and groom. I recommend it for everyone looking for a charming venue in the Hudson Highlands at the gateway to the Catskills”

“I am still riding the high from my wedding hosted at Skyview Golf Club and I can't say enough great thing. If you're planning a wedding this is your venue. Not only is it one of the more affordable wedding venues in North Jersey, the staff and specifically coordinator Hildegard Power, are incredible at what they do. Hildegard walked me through the entire planning process, maintained the excitement and quickly answered all of questions (no matter how repetitive or the hour). The venue itself, without any additional decor, is stunning. Modern, open layout that accentuate the natural scenery. The bartenders were incredible, my guests are still asking me for recipes from our signature drinks (house cocktails suggested an made by Skyview) and the food was delicious. Hildegard ensured we actually got to eat on our wedding day, enjoy our choices and savor each moment and bite. The options for food, both cocktail hour and dinner are extraordinary--it became my husband and I's favorite date night activity to try to narrow down our favorite menu items. Eating them all on the big day was icing on the cake. I had a very specific vision for my wedding and Hildegard worked with me and my family to bring it to life, from decor drop-off and organization to final touches and last minute changes on the big day. More than anything, the most worthwhile and best thing I got from Skyview was reassurance and peace of mind. As a bride, there are a million decisions you have to make and even more things that will creep into your mind to worry you. I was never once worried that something may go wrong or fall through at Skyview. Hildegard built a strong foundation of trust and communication with us that truly made the big day everything I hoped. “My now-husband and I will never be over our wedding at Blooming Hill Farm. It will be hard to condense all the gushing I want to do into a succinct review, but I'll try. I remembered seeing pics of the farm and thinking it looked cool, but visiting in person last August was a gamechanger. It's so magical in person - beautiful blooms everywhere, the little babbling brook, the dreamy cocktail barn, the general views. My partner, who was in London at the time, had joined via FaceTime and even over the phone he knew immediately after that it was the one. We knew we wanted to get married when the farm was exactly as we saw it, so did our wedding toward the end of August. We lucked out with absolutely beautiful weather and it made for an unforgettable day. In addition to loving on the space ('gorgeous' was used a lot), our guests couldn't stop raving about the food (no surprises here, BHF is a working farm with a popular farm-to-table restaurant). Without a doubt, the best wedding food we've ever had. The tasting was a highlight :) In addition to all of this, rather than having to separately source and pay a kajillion dollars for all of the linens, tables, etc, this is all included and BHF works with you to execute your vision to a T. The reception tent was sneakily one of the most beautiful parts of our wedding day - I couldn't stop ogling everything. Special shoutout to Nadine, BHF's florist who worked with our non-existent knowledge of flowers and delivered an absolute dream setting. Finally, I've fully been burying the lead because on top of all this, the ultimate perk of doing your wedding at Blooming Hill Farm is you get to work with a coordinator like our girl Kate - who we are still not ready to say goodbye to. While we experienced light concern from a few folks over not hiring a planner, with Kate we never needed one. From the venue tour to detailed planning sessions to literally cueing us all down the aisle, she held our hand every step of the way and managed to be equally warm and fun while supremely on top of her sh*t (and ensuring we were on top of ours). She overdelivered in the way a stereotypically Type A wedding planner would, while managing to be...chill?! It truly felt like working with a friend. (WE LOVE YOU, KATE, PLEASE CALL US WHEN YOU'RE IN BROOKLYN?!?) The rest of the staff were also so notably warm, wonderful and on point as well. Truly, if there was a way to Black Mirror ourselves and relive this day over and over, we definitely would. Please have your wedding here, ok?”

The Bird and Bottle Inn

“Our wedding at the Bird and Bottle Inn was better than I could have imagined. Stefania was a dream to work with. She was quick to answer questions, no matter how big or small. She was upfront in her communication. She was totally grounding and easy to talk to, especially on the day. But most of all, she made us feel like our day was important and special. The food was 10/10. Guests are still talking about our food four months later. Everything was delicious and HOT! It was remarkable that each plate had hot food that had to come from the kitchen to the tent. It felt like a seated meal at a 5 star restaurant. All food allergies were taken into account. People with allergies were still able to have a delicious meal where they didn't have to worry. I cannot say enough kind words about the staff. They were passionate about good service. Each table remarked on how kind, professional, and knowledgeable their waiter was. Like Stefania, they made us feel like our day was special and unique, not just another event they were working. The grounds and rooms are stunning and comfortable. It rained on our day and staff were able to quickly turn around and make sure our ceremony in the tent was beautiful. We didn't even care that it rained because the ceremony was still wonderful. Perhaps the highest compliment is that our guests are recommending the Bird and Bottle to their friends for their wedding. I can't say enough good things about this venue. If you are looking for a charming place to get married with exceptionally kind staff that knows exactly what they're doing and has AMAZING food, this is the place for you.”

“Our daughter and son-in-law had their wedding at City Winery Hudson Valley a few weeks ago and we are thrilled with our entire experience! We worked with Lerika from the very beginning when we first toured as our Sales Manager and communications with her throughout the process were perfect. Lerika also worked extremely well with our planner (Lauren F. from Wild Blooms – recommended by CW) and the two of them made sure all details were perfect. When we first toured CW, we loved all the different spaces and, due to a rainy wedding day, were very grateful for the many options. Although we intended for the ceremony to be by the river, the indoor space was beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop made even more beautiful with white flowers that popped against the brick and windows. And having cocktail hour within the bar area and restaurant, which they closed for us, made our event very private and allowed for sufficient seating during that time. The buttlered hors d’oeuvres were plentiful and the stations constantly replenished so they always looked stocked. Service was incredible throughout the day and our guests appeared to be served dinner all at once, and wait staff were very attentive. There were never lines at the bar during cocktail hour or the reception which was helped by the table wine service. We chose the Steak Bavette for our beef entrée and I was concerned the 6 oz standard portion would be too small so we upgraded to 8 oz which ended up being huge! And all the food served throughout the day was delicious! Lerika was attentive throughout the wedding day as was Tiffany, the CW event coordinator, who we did not meet until that day. Lerika and Tiffany anticipated our needs and made sure we were all taken care of throughout the day. Security identified a potential issue with one of our guests who had too much to drink and discreetly and professionally addressed it without our even knowing about it. We had more than 160 guests in attendance and the space was big enough to ensure it was easy to move around the tables while still feeling intimate. I love that we were able to place only two rows of tables on each side of the dance floor so everyone was close to the activity and never far apart. Our guests danced throughout the wedding which made it very fun. With recommendations from CW, we selected a florist (Laruen P. from Wild Blooms) and bistro lighting from Fox Haus that transformed the space and made it so beautiful. All the photos are absolutely gorgeous even though most were taken indoors. We also reserved the boiler bar for the guys to get ready which was fun for them and the Nest for the ladies which was spacious and beautiful. And lastly, we hosted an afterparty in the boiler bar for the friends of the bride and groom which was perfect to give them extra time with their close friends! CW hosts a combined food tasting for all couples with scheduled weddings and it gave us a great glimpse of what the actual wedding day would be like with plenty of special and personal touches for the bride and groom. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was, and we continue to receive so many compliments from our guests! It was fun, it was beautiful, it was delicious, it was perfectly what our daughter and son-in-law envisioned!”

“Still riding the high from our wedding weekend! We were absolutely floored by all the work Jen and Ally and the whole Stagecoach team did to make our wedding weekend spectacular! They have several different packages that you can choose from which allowed us to find something that truly worked for us. We ended up having around 115 guests for the wedding and the space was just perfect! We had been to the Inn for dinner before and we knew we wanted to make food a priority. Chef Jerrel hit it out of the park for the rehearsal dinner, the cocktail hour/reception, and the brunch the next morning! Also because they have rooms upstairs, we were able to have our closest family stay and not have to worry about any travel! We couldn't recommend them enough!”

On the wedding day, Nicole was with us for the entire day, making sure there were no hiccups, checking that we had everything we needed and handling so many little details behind the scenes so we could just enjoy ourselves. “We had our wedding at The Briarcliff Manor and overall had a wonderful experience. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and people are still talking about our wedding and how stunning everything was. The food, drinks, and service were fantastic, and we received countless compliments from our guests throughout the night. Unfortunately, we were so busy taking photos that we barely got to experience cocktail hour ourselves, but our guests were amazed by it and could not stop raving about the food. Throughout the planning process, communication was always helpful and responsive, which made planning much easier. The only surprise for us was learning on the wedding day that the person we had worked with throughout our planning journey would not be there. Since we had spent so much time working together and discussing the details of our wedding, we naturally expected them to be part of the day. A heads-up beforehand would have helped us feel more prepared for that transition. That said, the wedding-day staff were absolutely wonderful. Our bridal attendants were attentive, kind, and helped us feel calm and confident throughout the day. They were always one step ahead and somehow always appeared exactly when we needed something. In fact, they always had a drink ready for us—we don’t think we approached the bar once all night! Their care and attention allowed us to fully enjoy every moment of our wedding. What stood out most was how genuinely excited the staff seemed for us. Everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly, and it felt like they were celebrating right alongside our guests. “I cannot recommend this venue more! Not only is it beautiful on the inside but Bryce and Courtney who help run the show put in so much time, effort, and energy into making it the best day you could imagine! After our initial meeting with Bryce it was a no-brainer to go with Novella’s. They were the only venue that said yes to all of our requests and let us make the wedding more catered to us as a couple (DIY stirrers, signage, centerpieces, etc.). They only do 1 wedding a day so you are their main focus for the duration of your day. He will answer your emails, texts, and set up meetings with you if you ask! He also added some ideas we wouldn’t have thought of and walked us through the timeline and process with our goals in mind. Our family/friend’s raved about the food during cocktail hour and dinner. Good portions and great quality! As the bride, I felt they ran a tight ship with no hiccups in sight and were easy to find if I had any questions. My guests said it was a true hidden gem that they didn’t know about but loved! They also have a deal with the local Pastry Garden to give you a custom cake included in the venue cost! The venue is within walking feet of a local hotel who are fabulous to work with and Bryce also let us use the outdoor patio for an amazing after party! Truly just good people to work with and SO easy to trust!”
