This venue was amazing! This was the first and only venue my husband and I looked at because we fell in love instantly. The workers are so friendly and always there when you have any questions (and I had A LOT). They were timely with their responses and never hid any costs. The venue was beautiful to say the least; my husband & I got married on the beach and it was everything we hoped for. Our day of coordinator, Sophie, was so sweet. The ceremony was set up perfectly after just showing her my photo inspo. Also, it’s very nice you can bring all your own decor if you please, which I did and Sophie set it up exactly how I envisioned. The reception was also beautiful in the set up with the spider draping I added to our package. The food & drinks were just as good as when we first tried them. We had a carving station and a chicken option, along with the fan favorite, tortellini. The vendors they use were also so helpful and sweet and met all of our needs! Our friends had a fantastic time, some saying the best wedding they’ve attended! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding and it was all thanks to Carmel Fields!

We had the absolute best experience with Fairview Laguna Seca! From the very beginning, Danielle was the reason we fell in love with the venue, her energy, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel so confident in our decision. When she transitioned out of her role, we were a little anxious, but then Melissa came in and completely blew us away. Melissa worked with us through the last 6 months of planning and was nothing short of incredible. She listened to every idea, every concern, and somehow made everything happen exactly how we envisioned it. She always made us feel heard, never overwhelmed, and her calm, organized energy was everything we needed. On the day of the wedding, she was a total rockstar. She kept everything running smoothly and still managed to check in with us, make us laugh, and reassure us that everything was under control. We honestly don't know what we would’ve done without her! Amber joined the team just days before the wedding, but you’d never know it. She was so on top of things and jumped right in like she had been with us the whole time. Matt was also amazing, he made sure the day flowed perfectly and kept everything on schedule without ever making us feel rushed. The food was delicious and there was so much of it, our guests are still talking about it! The bartending team was fast, friendly, and so easy to work with. Everyone from the Fairview Laguna Seca team went above and beyond to make our day feel special and stress-free. Our DJ, Ernesto, did an incredible job! He stuck to the vibe we wanted, played every request we had, and kept the dance floor going all night long. And the FLORALS … wow. D'Lily's absolutely nailed it. Every arrangement was stunning, fresh, and picture-perfect. They truly brought our vision to life. We can’t thank the entire Fairview Laguna Seca team enough. Our wedding was a dream, and it's all because of the amazing people who made it happen!

My husband and I had a gorgeous wedding retreat at Venture in September 2025. Our 3-day retreat allowed us to slow down with the people we love the most and share the beauty of the place we live (Northern California) with those traveling from afar (East Coast, France, Canada). Our wedding was entirely DIY, which gave us the freedom to customize the different moments to our liking. The glamping tents were wonderful. We did not have access to the indoor lodging in the main house (only the bathroom), and the event was still incredible. We filled all the tents and some folks stayed off-site. We loved our vendors and would be more than happy to share more information with those interested (BBQ catering from Oakland, Bay Area coffee truck, local Half Moon Bay caterer for dinner, local florist, killer DJ on Friday and band on Saturday, local photographer, etc). The wedding weekend could not have turned out better. We only have fond memories of this experience. We did most things ourselves (we made the drinks, we designed the paper, signage, etc., and we relied on our supportive community to help us where we needed it), mostly because we were on a very tight budget. We worked closely with our wedding coordinator to ensure all the pieces aligned. The folks at Venture did the best they could with the staff they had. Communication was sometimes a challenge; they had one staff member doing all the outreach and communication with prospective and existing clients. Ensure that you have a very organized/good coordinator and that there is sufficient staff for all of your needs. Ours coordinator and hired staff went above and beyond to ensure that I was not thinking about any logistics or challenges that arose during the weekend retreat. Overall, the venue was a delight. Nestled in the bosom of the coastal redwood forest. I would recommend this venue to any couple looking for something genuine, bespoke, and flexible. The weather was perfect, the air was perfect, the vibes were perfect!

Wow, this is a cool event space! Spacious ballroom, gorgeous views of the ocean, a very neat sun room, and a disco ball to boot. I wish I could go back (waaay back) in time and have my prom here! Cocoanut grove can hold ALOT of people. There's a bar available for use, and three different rooms that could be utilized depending on the size of the event. This would be a great venue for a wedding reception, dance, reunion, or company holiday party.

There’s truly no reason not to rave about YMCA Camp Campbell as a wedding venue! We spent a long time searching for the right place. We knew we didn’t want a typical ballroom and the moment we visited Camp Campbell, it was love at first sight. Surrounded by towering redwoods and full of charm, it felt like a dream. Every guest asked us how we found such a fun and unique venue. Adults and kids alike had a blast! The included activities like axe throwing and archery were a huge hit, and the food was absolutely delicious. We’re especially grateful for Amber, our venue coordinator. She was organized, responsive, and so easy to work with. She stayed in close communication throughout the entire process, worked seamlessly with all our vendors, and helped bring our dream day to life. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a better team. We’re so glad we chose Camp Campbell. It will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Saratoga springs is a breathtaking venue. I absolutely loved my space. The staff are caring, communicative, detailed and super easy to work with. We used the Redwood Grove space. It is secluded and intimate. Beautifully covered in trees. The space is amazing and green and so earthy. The staff sets up your space and pulls down your space (if hired). They pay amazing attention to detail and were eager to ensure that my space was everything I wanted. The only issue I have is the short amount of time you are allotted to be on site. You cannot get ready there and you only have one hour to explore the venue and take all the pictures on site that you want. Which on a wedding day is chaotic. It would be nice to have more time to explore the space especially for the cost of renting a space. Other than the time constraints everything is organized, and amazing. Chateau Mt. Eden was a fantastic venue for our wedding. Their communication style was simple but clear, which made planning the event very straightforward. The quality of their work and the value they provided was fantastic - the view from their venue overlooking the entire South Bay was absolutely breathtaking. One of the best things about Chateau Mt. Eden was the flexible event space that allowed us to customize the layout to fit our needs. An added bonus was that guests were able to stay on-site, which made the day even more special. We had a wonderful experience working with the Saratoga Country Club for our wedding. From the very beginning and throughout the whole process, the event planner Sherry was always quick to respond and helpful with answering all my questions. The Country Club recently repainted and re-carpeted their reception room, and it looks so good! They had an event earlier in the day before our wedding, so I was super worried they wouldn't be able to set everything up quickly enough, but they did an amazing job! I had a minute to see the reception room before the ceremony, and they had arranged and decorated everything exactly how I had specified. The day-of reception coordinator, Mara, was also wonderful. She was super attentive and helpful, even checking on our parents multiple times throughout the evening to make sure they were happy. Would definitely recommend this venue for a South Bay wedding!

We had our wedding last November and Fogo de Chão was very helpful in every step of the way. We booked 3 rooms which was perfect for our small wedding. The staff was very helpful as well as the event and general manager. Food was delicious as always. Our ceremony ended early and the manager was nice accommodating our guests a little bit earlier while we got our photos taken. It was such a good experience that now my husband wants to celebrate our anniversary every year at Fogo de Chão.

This review is long overdue. The staff was really amazing in coordinating our perfect wedding right from the beginning. We were planning our big day from out of state, which you would think would cause a few hiccups but the staff at J Winston Winery made everything very easy. Taylor Kinsey, Operations manager, was always quick to respond, provided great recommendations, had tremendous patience and was very professional throughout the entire process. They offered a package to buy out the winery at a very reasonable price so we didn’t have to worry about uninvited guests or rush any last minute details. The wine packages were just as reasonable; the only tough decision here was deciding which ones to serve. The newly built barn, where we hosted our reception was beautifully done. It had all the right touches with very little need for additional decorations. The day before the wedding we were able to setup/prep anything we needed to and of course enjoyed some of their amazing wine. We were really appreciative of them working closely with our multiple vendors prior to wedding day and getting them all set up on our special day. We can’t thank them enough for making our special day truly magical. We still visit the winery when we’re in town and to this day continue to thank them for the great job they did and reminiscence on the fun we had. Thank you John and the J Winston Winery team for being there for us especially Taylor and Leyla!

The venue itself is incredibly charming, with historic character and beautiful natural surroundings, it's also situated perfectly at the end of Pescadero's main street so its private but at the same time just a few steps away from a market, local coffee shop and historic saloon! Lisa and Victor went above and beyond to ensure every detail was attended to, and we received so many compliments from our guests on the overall beauty and comfort of the space. We're so grateful to have celebrated our wedding here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any couple looking for a truly memorable experience.

We hosted our October 2023 Wedding Reception at The Tech Interactive and I highly recommend it to anybody who is looking for a unique (and literally interactive) venue. It was so much fun and our guests had a great time!  We rented the entire lower level and they kept the galleries and exhibits open so our guests could play with them throughout the night! They were a hit during cocktail hour as well as for taking breaks from the dance floor (although we still always had plenty of people on the dance floor!)  Our event was mostly adults with a handful of younger relatives, and everyone had a great time. The exhibits at The Tech Interactive are perfect for quick and fun interactions no matter how interested (or not interested) any individual guest was in science/technology. Our engineer friends had a great time with the Cyber Detectives activities, while even our least technically-inclined guests enjoyed playing around with things like the Jet Pack Chair and Solve For Earth. This was truly best of both worlds, as we didn't have to give up any of the "traditional" wedding elements to make room for the fun of the exhibits - our tables and decorations were set up beautifully, we still had appetizers and an open bar, and like I mentioned above, there were still always plenty of people on the dance floor! We actually didn't even need to decorate as much as we might have with a more "traditional" venue either, as the existing colors, lighting, and layout of The Tech make for a strong baseline to build from. Our primary contact was Lolita and she was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. She was there with us every step of the way, from our initial tour to our reception itself. She made sure to consider exactly what we were looking for to make our wedding special and was extremely organized and great and communicating with us as well as our other vendors. She created a great layout based on our table count, dance floor size, and the space the caterer needed, and she and her team went above and beyond and worked with our caterer and coordinator to help set everything up between the public close time and the start of our event so that everything was perfect when our guests got there. They even let us customize the exterior lighting color of the building during our event. The physical location of The Tech Interactive is fantastic as well - right in downtown San Jose within walking distance of tons of hotels and two parking garages where The Tech validates. The city closed off Market Street right in front of The Tech relatively last minute for a public city event, but Lolita was on top of it and worked with us and our shuttle company to arrange for pickup and a smooth experience for our guests. In summary: If you're looking to do something unique with your wedding or event, I can't recommend The Tech Interactive enough. Lolita was fantastic to work with and our guests couldn't stop saying how it was one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to.

We chose Blanco Urban Venue for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the decision. From the start, the team responded quickly to all our questions and made planning feel straightforward. We were drawn to the place as it allowed for Ceremony, Cocktail, and Reception to all be in one space, with a super smooth flow, and allowed our pet to walk down the ceremony aisle. Chrissy gave us a tour and was SO warm and welcoming taking time to answer our questions and even graciously scheduled a second tour with the parents. She was super honest and open about anything we asked, providing solutions to concerns, and the day worked out exactly as she described. We had a 165 person wedding, and was worried about it feeling cramped but it honestly felt very roomy and comfortable for moving around and dancing. There was enough room for all the chairs, tables, and even had a nice space for vendor table! The included tables and chairs saved us time and money, and we loved how our other vendors raved about the venue too—it made coordinating everything so much easier. The bartenders really impressed us with their skill, and those signature cocktails were delicious even though drinks came at a premium price. However, right after the ceremony, Chrissy immediatley found the bride and groom to give us our signature drinks, and even gave one to the nervous parents. It was such a personal touch that we will remember forever. Being in San Pedro Square, parking was a breeze at only 10 dollars for the whole day, and a easy spot to Uber to. We had a world cup watch party coinciding with our day, but the team proactivley warned us and helped us have alternatives on communicating with guests to make sure everyone made it smoothly. Overall, Blanco delivered on quality and service, and we'd recommend them to any couple looking for a polished, all-in-one venue.
