About this venue

Swallow Creek Ranch, a 600 acre cattle ranch is located in the quaint beach town of Cayucos and is the only wedding venue on the central coast of California that offers ocean view ceremony sites and a historic reception barn. At Swallow Creek Ranch we provide the blank canvas for the day of your dreams and allow you to shape your celebration as you see fit. You’ll have access to our venue for the entire weekend which makes for a relaxed affair. You will also have your choice of two ceremony sites; the Hilltop Amphitheatre and the Seaview Meadow, each with their own unique atmosphere. The party continues with cocktail hour in the barnyard beneath our bistro lights followed by a reception for up to 250 guests in our historic blue barn. Elegant or organic, rustic or modern… the scene is set, the ranch is your backdrop. Make your vision come true!

THE HISTORIC DAIRY BARN

Built in 1863, this enchanting blue barn was the heart of the dairy until the 1940's when ranch production shifted to beef cattle because of a long drought. Milk producing cows need a lot of water! Fully retrofitted, it still retains its historic character. It can accommodate up to 250 guests and features 4,700 square feet of inviting space for your celebration. It includes a dance floor, modern wiring and lighting, three handicap accessible restrooms, a custom wine barrel bar, four propane heaters (propane included), and a creek side deck.

Ample parking and 2 parking attendants for event. Venue use from Friday at 1 pm - Sunday at noon. Choice of 2 ocean view ceremony sites w/ seating provided for the Sea View Meadow. Cocktail hour in the barnyard under the bistro lights w/ an outdoor bar & 5 wine barrels. Reception in the historic barn w/ tables & chairs for up to 200 guests, drapery, lighting, indoor bar & 4 heaters. Access to host an onsite rehearsal dinner. Two getting ready spaces - a vintage wedding suite & 1969 Airstream Trailer. Site Management w/ parking attendants.
