My favorite part about my job is helping my couples get exactly what they want from their wedding documentation. I specialize in digital and analog film and love to document the real moments and make you feel comfortable in the process. It is the small glances and simple moments where the memories often get blurry, so let me watch your day unfold and work with you to create a gallery full of memories.

I start off as an observer and will lay back and let you interact to see the full picture. Then I will pop in with prompts or cues to get you to move and feel natural. My special sauce is how I make you feel and how I design a session or a day that is more than a photo shoot. Time is the element I give most to my couples and I want to give you more slow moments to breathe and just be with the people you love. Are you keeping your special day small and intimate? Does an adventure or beach ceremony without a venue or reception speak to you? My services are completely customizable, so if you want more or less we can make that happen! I also offer completely inclusive elopements where I do all the work for floral, beach picnics, officiants, and more! All you have to do is show up for the magic.

I specialize in small and intimate weddings, but I have been known to do larger events if our visions align. My focus is on YOU and making sure to capture all the small details and honest moments, so the biggest need for our collaboration is TIME. The more time we have together to let the day naturally unfold, the more magic we can document-regardless of the number of guests. I also always include a second shooter in my full-day package because this helps get multiple perspectives and we can cover more than one location at a time.
I love more time with my couples and the earlier you bring me in, the more I can help with the planning process or fit in an engagement shoot, so don't wait too long! I often get booked out for weekends months in advance and I only take on 2-3 weddings each month to keep me fresh and ready to serve you!
Editing is the biggest and longest part of my job because I don't source out or batch-edit your images. I take time to hand-select and edit only the best images and create a story for you through images of your day. I usually am able to get some sneak peek images to you fully edited within a week and expect the full gallery ready to download in 6-8 weeks. Analog film, Super 8, prints, and albums can take longer.
YES! If you are local to the island or able to come over to see me on Oahu before your big day I offer a sunrise or sunset session for your engagement (and to get to know you more!). This extra session before your big day is included in the base cost!!
I have added Super 8 video to all my packages!! This is an imperfect film video without sound, so I set it to music for you! Super 8 is often imperfect and about 2-3 mins in length per roll, but it is another way to see your day. If you want full coverage to capture all of your moments, I always suggest hiring a professional videographer and I can help you find one-I have worked with many great videographers!
Of course! Do you want to meet up after your wedding day in your bridal attire and jump in the ocean? How about hiking up your favorite trail and taking some epic cliff images in your wedding clothes? I offer additional stand-alone sessions to cover multiple days as needed, and at a discount if you roll it into your wedding proposal!

Besides offering lots of vintage options like analog film and Super 8, the main thing I hope you understand when you meet me is my dedication to serving you. My clients are so important to me and many have told me I go above and beyond with phone calls, emails, video calls, and other communication to make you feel supported and like you are my VIP client--because you are! I want you and your partner to be able to text or call me with questions, meet up with me for coffee to go over details or generally just feel supported and heard throughout this process. We won't be "meeting" for the first time at your wedding!
