About this venue

The Highlands House is an elegant-meets-homey mansion with a private yard nestled in enchanted forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The venue features several rooms for dining and dancing, a wet bar, a large kitchen, two changing rooms, an elegant staircase perfect for grand entrances. A brick pathway leads from the house to the lawn. There, you’ll find a ceremony area on one side and on the other, space large enough for guests to dine and play yard games. The lawn is surrounded by trees and hedges, creating intimacy for your upscale backyard party. Tables and chairs are provided. The rest - from décor to caterers - is up to you, which makes the Highlands House an extraordinarily customizable venue. The Highlands House can host up to 200 people in the peak season (April – October) and 100 during the winter season (November – March). This includes your guests, vendors, and anyone else helping you on your big day.

Felton Covered Bridge County Park

The peak season begins April 1st and ends October 31st.

The off-peak, or winter season begins November 1st and ends March 30th. There is a 20% discount off of the hourly reservation rate for events held during the winter season.

We allow beer, wine, and champagne. An alcohol permit is required.

Yes, there are 50 reserved spaces.

Most areas are accessible. The front entrance to the venue has a small step that most wheelchair users are able to go over. The yard has a brick pathway. The second floor is accessible by stairs only.

We start taking reservations one year prior to the requested date on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations can be made at scparks.com.

We are unable to offer private tours at this time. We invite you to visit the venues at our Open House Events! Details can be found at scparks.com.

The reservation includes 16 sixty-inch round tables, 4 eight-foot banquet tables, and 125 white stacking chairs. The rest - from décor to caterers - is up to you, which makes the Highlands House an extraordinarily customizable venue.
