About this venue

Exchange vows among the vines, toast with a glass of bubbly in our barrel room, ride a fully restored 1975 John Deere tractor and vintage buckboard trailer for your grand arrival, all surrounded by the beauty and charm of Carmel Valley wine country. Once a western Dude's Ranch dating back to the 1920s, Rancho Carmelo was once home to cabins, corrals, and outdoor classrooms where youngsters learned the arts of horseback riding, roping, fishing, and hunting. It was the last stop for cowboys before embarking on the winding journey to Cacahua Valley. In the 1980s, Rancho Carmelo underwent a transformation into a boutique vineyard, producing Rosé, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah with the iconic horse shoe art label. Today, Carmelo Vineyards creates a beautifully scenic, historic and charming wedding ceremony destination. We can't wait to host one of the most memorable days of your life with us.

Since weather is unpredictable during the winter months, we don’t book wedding ceremonies during the typical off-peak season (December, January, February and March). For any weekday weddings during peak season, we offer a slight discount.
