We knew we needed a coordinator for the day of, but Justine met with us about once a month for almost a full year leading up to the wedding. We hired Kris because this was a destination wedding for us and we needed help with locating vendors and wanted to feel like we had someone that we could work with in the area that was familiar with the industry and able to coordinate day of for us. She offered us different vendors for catering, rentals, dj and cake. She setup up tastings and meetings with all vendors making sure we felt comfortable and confident with every vendor we went with. Kris went above and beyond being CCd on every email and on every call. She provided quick and accurate information throughout the planning process. We ran into issues with our venue along the way and Kris was right there beside us helping us and working through it. “We hired Leigh & Co for day-of coordination and were paired with Heather as our main coordinator and Rachel as our assistant coordinator on the day -- both were fantastic and a joy to be around! Heather was very communicative and easy to get in touch with leading up the wedding, which put us at ease. She offered great input in developing the timeline and thinking about the overall flow of the wedding. She brought up several things that we never would have thought of that made things run so smoothly (e.g., suggesting when the officiant should ask to turn cell phones off at the ceremony, how to spread out the toasts during the reception). In setting up the ceremony/reception, Heather and Rachel made our decor look spectacular and kept track of everything special to us (including a few family heirloom pieces), and safely and quickly packed everything up for us at the end of the night. Due to some unexpected heavy traffic in the area, we ended up delaying the start of our ceremony but we didn't worry even for one second that anything would get upended because Heather and Rachel had it covered.”
