Hey! I'm Nina. I'm a pretty energetic and charismatic person that loves love and enjoys life. Documenting through photo is my favorite thing on this planet. I've been a professional photographer since 2016 but really I've been invested in photography since I was 15 years old. My love for documenting moments came from a desire to capture my own life and that of my friends using disposable cameras, flip phone cameras and point and shoot digital cameras on beach trips with friends. Hi, Thanks for reading! Here's my photography short story: 2017, after 13 years of teaching, I said goodbye to the classroom and pursued Olympic weightlifting photography- my company was Everyday Lifters. Shortly after, I launched my wedding business. The Long Version: Weightlifting has taken me to places like Turkmenistan, Germany, & across the country! The weightlifters started getting married, and along the way, I received training to advocate for diverse bodies as a photographer. During this time of transition, I started taking documenting courses through the International Center of Photography and work on documenting local stories.
